I recommend Mountain Winery for the unbeatable combo—gorgeous views, great music, and that magical sunset vibe. It’s like a mini vacation without leaving town!
Staff (security) is rude. Only 1 men’s room when you first come in (on the opposite side of the winery from the shows). The other men’s room has a sign hanging next to “men’s room” saying “women’s room only” yet they have a “women’s” room right next to it? (not 1 person used makeshift bathroom). The Mountain Winery is a popular venue in the Santa Cruz Mountains known for its beautiful views, excellent wine, and enjoyable concerts. The setting offers a fantastic atmosphere, with even distant seats providing a close-up experience, and the scenery is often described as unbeatable. Visitors appreciate the top-notch service and friendly staff, who are welcoming, knowledgeable, and help create a relaxed and memorable environment. The winery is especially praised for its wine, including the Estate Cabernet, and its cheese boards, which are delicious and well-liked. The concert stage at the winery is considered one of the best in the South Bay, making it a great spot for a weekend getaway or a special date night. The ambiance is enhanced by the scenic terrace and the overall ambiance of the venue, which is perfect for enjoying a pre-concert dinner or just relaxing with friends. However, some experiences, such as the pre-concert dinner, received mixed reviews regarding food quality relative to prices. Events like Puppies and Pinot have had mixed reactions, with some feeling disappointed about certain aspects, but overall, the winery remains a favored destination for wine lovers and concertgoers alike.
