“This hotpot is pretty good! We have lunch special for 2 people and it’s less than $60 in total, but we have a lot as the pic below, 2 meets, 3 veggies, 1 entree, 1 plum pitcher and 1 free passion fruit pitcher. Also, the food is really fresh, and we just choose mild mild spicy which is just right. Previously, it’s very spicy even if we choose the least spicy level.
Happy to eat here for lunch ;)”
“Steins is a great restaurant with a wide beer selection! They also sponsor the annual MV Oktoberfest!”
“The experience of dining there was next level. From start to finish they have perfected the dining experience. Food, staff, and ambiance was five star!”

“Olympus has an awesome drink and food selection offering a true Bavarian style experience. The owner and staff are also very kind and make the experience amazing!”
“There is a chicken with saliva that is a bit weird, but the other side dishes and noodles are good, and the service attitude is also good. My good friend and I ate for less than 100, two noodles and four dishes, which was great. Support store”
“I love to go to Doppio is a nice place and a great staff.”

“Love their foods, so delicious and fancy will bring my family & friends there again!!”

“Best place for pastries and bread in town. Nothing fancy, just great pastries.”
“Sushi Jin in Mountain View is an absolute gem! We recently visited for my wife's birthday, and we opted for the omakase tasting menu. From start to finish, every dish was crafted with such precision and care. The freshness and quality of the fish were outstanding, and each course was a delightful surprise. The balance of flavors and textures was impeccable, showcasing the chef's incredible skill. The ambiance of the restaurant made the evening feel intimate and special. The staff was warm and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to make the night memorable. My wife was thrilled, and so was I. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Sushi Jin is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!”
“Best vegan food in Palo Alto. I eat here as often as I can. FYI, it's cash only for smaller orders. Very highly recommended.”
“This place is stuck in time. The boba price and food price is the same price boba used to cost years ago. The coconut smoothie is a good recommendation! The teas are also tasty and doesn’t taste nasty. 100% would highly recommend everyone here if they’re in the area.”
“The place gets busy during rush hours, and while ordering is straightforward, the waiting time can be a bit longer. However, the quality is noticeably better compared to other takeaways.”
“????? **Incredible Delhi-6 Tandoori Chicken Pizza!**
I recently tried the Delhi-6 Tandoori Chicken Pizza, and it was beyond my expectations! The flavors were rich, bold, and authentic—truly capturing the essence of tandoori spices. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, and the pizza itself had the perfect balance of toppings and crust. The fusion of traditional Indian flavors with pizza is a genius idea, and they’ve mastered it!
The shop itself is warm and inviting, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The service was quick, and they made sure everything was perfect. This is hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had, and I can't recommend it enough. If you love Indian flavors and pizza, you have to try this!”
“Been there for lunch in weekend. Not much parking spots on the street, and because it’s downtown area, so it’s understandable. Line outside about 30mins for seats.
for sure. We had Beef mifen, Mutton offal mifen and the lamb spines.
Environment: 2.5/5 it was 35 Celsius and this place has no Ac or fans. The restaurant inside also super tiny but full of tables, so it’s not a kid friendly family restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely not
Wheelchair accessibility: Impossible to get in”
“Solid fried chicken, was very juicy and the fries and biscuit were amazing. I opted for the white meat and shrimp combo, I'd probably skip the shrimp next time (they were good but it was so much food), think the meal and a drink was 27 and change.
Will definitely be back, don't suggest eating inside though it's a bit small and very warm inside.”
“I ordered an eggless and sugar-substituted birthday cake for my mom and was trying this place for the first time. It was a very pleasant experience right from placing an order to pick up. I was able to customise the cake to be eggless, sugar-free and less creamy. The cake was very tasty, soft and just as desired!
Dietary restrictions: Eggless & sugar-free cake options available”

“Genuinely the best boba place I’ve been to in they Bay Area! The owners treat making tea as a craft and provide excellent service. I just wish it was closer to my house ”
“Welcoming atmosphere, very kind staff, and wonderful food!”
“Great sushi! Must get the omakase nigiri or Toyosu special!”
“The food was incredible. I wanted to order almost everything on the menu. So will have to come back at least couple more times to try everything to look good and we couldn’t order in one night. Our old fashion cocktail and blackberry Mojito were perfect. And I can’t say enough about considerate, professional service.”
Outdoor Dining
“Steins is a great restaurant with a wide beer selection! They also sponsor the annual MV Oktoberfest!”
“Indoor seating has reopened. Always the best coffee in town, by far!”
“Good food and atmosphere and very good service by all the staff specially by Bimal very friendly and service by him is very good. Location is very nice and timings make it different than other restaurant. Mid night finding good Indian restaurants is not that easy for dine-in. Don’t forget to try masala tea.”
“No extra fees or surcharges. Thank you Slice House for the honest, inclusive menu pricing and please stay fee-free.
One novelty of this place is having multiple pizza styles under one roof. I ordered two slices. I enjoyed my NY-style BBQ chicken slice. I wanted to like my Detroit-style Little Italy pizza slice, but the tomato sauce and cheese used on it was too sour and salty for my taste. However, judging from the selection I saw at the counter, I’m optimistic that they have many more pizzas that I would enjoy, so I’ll be back.
Outdoor seating: There are some red tables with patio umbrellas outside the storefront and they are often shaded by the tall building as well. They can fill up quickly, so if no red tables are available, get your order to-go and walk across the street to the extensive outdoor common area with many picnic tables, patio umbrellas, lounge seating, and benches.”
“Most flavorful & Delicious Salsa both green and red in the bay area. Brisket and Al pastor tacos are served with grilled onions and a jalapeño. The tacos are sooooooooo good!”
“Olympus has an awesome drink and food selection offering a true Bavarian style experience. The owner and staff are also very kind and make the experience amazing!”
“Get the Diablo Chicken! You won’t regret it. Not too spicy but super savory!”
“I love to go to Doppio is a nice place and a great staff.”
“Ordered the Mango Matcha Latte and it was delicious as expected. Love that they offer so many different matcha options. Boba looks delicious as well. Ordering is simple using the website on your phone or via the automated kiosk or employee. Not a ton of seating but was still able to find a seat on a weekend afternoon at the bar for an hour or two.
Parking: Large parking lot shared with Safeway”
“Welcoming atmosphere, very kind staff, and wonderful food!”
“Non- chain coffee shop that roasts their own beans and has good pastries and snacks.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are labeled and individually wrapped.”
“We've been here twice, the meats are pretty good, the barbecue sauce is pretty good, I like how they have the Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda available, not many places do. I always spring for a barbecue sandwich and have enjoyed those both times. I honestly didn't like the cornbread that much the first time, but having it a second time, although it does lack the sweetness many other cornbreads have, it has some good, subtle flavor to it, seems pretty fresh, and otherwise was very good. It really doesn't need all that added sugar that most others have. If I'm in the area again and have a craving for barbecue, I would definitely return.”
“Amazing food made with care by great chefs
Not just amazing sushi but also some very interesting side dishes
The chawanmushi was so good and satisfying
Great for special occasions
Full from just the omakase”
“Cute, delicious, and A MUST TRY. Joy Sushi a cute Japanese joint nestled in Mountain View was an amazing spot to eat.
The service from Joy Sushi was exceptional with the servers bringing a familial vibe in the restaurant. One of the servers even helped me learn how to use my chopsticks. Overall great service. The ambiance was great as well, though there wasn’t LOADS of seating. The interior was very nice with lots of decorations and on the inside you could see a lot of the action happening which was cool.
The food itself was GREAT. I got the Unagi Donburi which was an eel dish. The dish came with a bomb unagi sauce that tasted a little like a zesty thicker teriyaki which complemented the fattiness of the eel amazingly. The dish was the perfect portion for me to finish in the restaraunt and be full. The dish also interestingly came with some orange savory fish roe that popped. The eel was SO tasty. It was a little fatty and very tender with no overfishy taste emanating. It was overall an amazing dish that came with lots of rice. The dessert was a little less appetizing. We got strawberry and mango mochi which was ok. It tasted like one of the Trader Joe’s mochi, but the presentation was beautiful and the price wasn’t exorbitant.
Overall Joy Sushi is a must try it provides plenty of good sushi and other entrees like my unagi donburi if sushi isn’t your thing. If you are ever in Mountain View make sure to come to Joy Sushi to enjoy the delicious food, familial service, great interior, and affordable dishes.
Vegetarian options: There are a decent amount of veggie sushi options listed separately on the menu!”

“Vast menu of vegan Chinese food. Sweet & sour pork had great sauce but meh fake meat, basil eggplant and tofu was excellent, scallion pancakes were crisp and tasty, pot stickers and spring rolls were good, and the vegetable fried rice was truly outstanding. Service was prompt and efficient. Atmosphere very informal with soothing soft music in the background. I’ll definitely go back again.”

“Have been going to this place lately. Fresh and delicious. The price is pretty good for 1 combo with sides.”
“We've been coming to Kirin since the 1990s when we first moved to the area and were introduced to the restaurant. The comfort food they have is familiar, like shrimp & eggs over rice, Congee, dim sum dishes, steamed fish.
Wheelchair accessibility: Single story building”
“Our waiter, Octavio, was truly superb. Made our business lunch meeting go smoothly and he was professional, timely and personable. We'll be back soon. The food was delicious. .”
“Had a team dinner here and they were able to accommodate a same day reservation for a group of 9 people. We weren’t able to get a table inside since they had another big party but the weather was so nice out that we all enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We ordered a few apps to share. My favorite was the calamari. Their focaccia bread was soft and delicious. I got the chicken parm which was pretty mediocre but coworker seemed to enjoy their pasta dishes.”
“Their food is so good it should be illegal!”
“First time visiting. Delighted to find a hand-pulled noodle soup place in DT MV.
Noodle portion is good. Would love the width of the flat noodles be half of its current size.
The on-the-house cabbage appetizer could serve w/o jalapeños as my mouth was burning even after I took them out & put the cabbage into my Chef’s Beef noodle soup.
Friendly staff. Glad to see fe/male restrooms.
Frozen dumplings made-to-go.
Will be back to taste other items!”
“I like their west coast bowl, the rest of food i have tried there is mediocere. Service could also be better. Overall, i think the huge plus is the vibe. I will be back for sure!”
“Popped in for a glass of wine and a cheese plate. I received both, and both were good, as expected. What wasn’t expected was the wine lesson, good conversation with 3 of the owners, and a friendly exchange with some regulars. Thank you, Antonio. Your love for wine and food shines bright at Savvy Cellar. I’ll see you all next time!”
“Excellent food, bier selection, and outdoor seating! Traditional fare is fab as is the fish & chips.”
“10/24/2024
Hanabi Sushi
1040 N Rengstorff Ave Ste A1
Mountain View, CA 94043
We went there for lunch after shopping at Costco in the same plaza. The dining area is split between a cozy interior table and chair setup and a larger patio area. We were seated promptly with fast and attentive service.
We both chose the lunch combo bentos. Wifey had the beef teriyaki and avocado roll and I had the Saba Shioyaki and Combo Tempura. The miso soup had good flavor and a few small cubes of tofu with kombu. My dainty mackerel filet was moist, tasty and boneless. My one shrimp tempura was hot and juicy with a crispy panko breading. The veggies were yam, carrot, zucchini and cauliflower. The dipping sauce was a little sweet. The beef was medium rare and lean of high quality with good teriyaki flavor.
A good place for lunch and conveniently located. May repeat.
Parking: It's in the Costco plaza.”

“This location is one of the best. They keep their traffic in drive-thru flowing especially at late hours. My experience with customer service has ALWAYS been positive.Food wise, I've NEVER had to take my food back or toss it. On 1 or 2 occasions, my fries weren't hot (fresh) and in saying that please make them fresh or ensure you serve hot/warm fries for every order. It really ruins the enjoyment when you have a nicely fresh made sandwhich or burger and your fries are cold.Otherwise, thank you! I don't expect perfection, but decent quality. I recommend this location for those who need a good Jack in the box location if you are from the Sunnyvale and or Mountain View area.”
“They have wall outlets and nice chairs! Customers were happy about the free $9 meal we gave them today”
“Their food is so good it should be illegal!”
“Wow! This place is amazing. The food was supreme. Our server Oswaldo was kind, prompt, courteous and went above and beyond. This was a peak dining experience for sure. My ONLY complaint is the environment is really dusty?? The bathroom was surprisingly dusty and so was the gender seating area. However, the dust doesn’t change my rating and I will definitely come back. This was one of the best experiences yet! Try the wagyu, bulgogi, brisket, prime rib, and sesame balls!”

“Hole in the wall Mexican market with counter service Mexican food and fried chicken. Super clean, incredibly friendly, helpful staff, outdoor only seating with shade, fun regulars, and decent small parking lot. The store has a good selection of everything, and the menu is extensive, reasonably priced, and authentic with americanized favorites added.”
“Really great taco truck. The chef can make anything. I really love the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos but it's all good. Burrito al pastor extra spicy is legendary!”

“Rootstock Wine Bar in downtown Mountain View is a nice spot. Four of us visited and ordered wine flights and the sparkling Rosé—everything was good, especially the Rosé. The meat and cheese board was also great, with a special mention for the cheese selection.
The service was excellent, and they gave us good wine recommendations. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Fresh air and warm . Food was awesome and they give you yours moneys worth”
“Amazingly delicious authentic Mexican food. I can't recommend this place enough. Unassuming and modest, this little, family owned restaurant, it's one of the most authentic I tried in the bay area.”

“This is our go to place for ramen whenever I am in the area. We always get our fixed orders. Pork cutlet curry, edamame and tantan ramen. Sometimes there is wait time due to rush. But once you have the table service is fairly quick.
They don’t have parking reserved for restaurant as such but you will find free parking nearby for 2 hours. But during rush hour it’s difficult to find parking since most lots around the area are full.
Ambience is good too.”

“This was my second visit to Hyderabad Dim Biriyani and to my surprise the food was so much better and well prepared. Our mutton curry was little undercooked but once we mentioned about it the owner right away took care of us. I wish if they can make their naan for $4.—-little bigger. Also they should give some extra napkins to the customers so that they don’t have to ask for every little thing. I will recommend you to go and enjoy the food. It’s always good to complaint to the owner/manager so that they can take care of you and rectify if there is something wrong. #papihanandy”
“The staff is super sweet! KFC went out of their way to hire an amazing staff! The prices like ALL of KFC's chains were phenomenal! Under 10 for my bowl, a soda and biscuit! The quality to price leans heavy on quality! They were safe with masks and hygiene. The store is spotless, cozy and family friendly! I just want to thank the staff of this store for showing kindness to 2 ASD individuals we appreciated it!
Vegetarian options: They have a few, vegetarian not vegan. It is clearly marked
Kid-friendliness: Always it's a family chain and has a very kid safe restaurant
Wheelchair accessibility: The store has a side entrance that has a ramp”
“ohhh I love the bowls and other tasty treats so much!!!”
“Got my order right away fast services this was my first time there im very happy”
“The Jack in the Box I go to is on Homestead Road in Sunnyvale near Lawrence Expressway. Love their tacos! But I always choose this Jack in the Box because of the beautiful roses that are planted along the drive-thru. I don't know who takes care of them but they are doing a bang-up job! ???”
“I've been coming here for twenty years!! Always the best food , best staff , drinks and perfect location DT Mountain View. Love this spot! #highlyrecommend”

“I’m not usually that kind of person that likes to leave reviews!! But this place is awesome !! Great food, clean place, third time here and will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area .”
“I freaking love these tacos, the cabeza is on point and the service is great.
Parking: Not really a parking lot since it’s at a gas station. Either park at a pump (and get some gas so you’re not an a**hole) or there are a couple of makeshift spots by the taco truck.”
“Modern elegance combined with a cozy atmosphere, it is a great place to meet people or hashing out ideas! The cappuccino I ordered was expertly prepared, with a creamy foam and a rich, robust espresso base. What truly set it apart, however, was its temperature—served just right, it provided a satisfying warmth without being scalding.”
“Arrived by chance for lunch and absolutely loved it. We will definitely come back to try more dishes.
Stuff was very nice as well!
We ordered for 2 people: summer roles, popcorn chicken and house rice special.
**In love with the summer roles!! Came with 3 nice sauces
Parking: Easy, in front of the restaurant.”
“I live about an hour and a half away from the nearest Chinatown, and so I never get bak thong koh (steamed rice cake) any more. Visiting my aunt and uncle in Mtn View provided me an opportunity to stop by this lovely little bakery and try their rice cake, and I am so glad I did! Perfect texture, perfect taste. The baked char siu bao are also really good!
They only take cash, but there's an ATM a couple blocks down the street (in the direction of the Maison Alyzée next door). Stop by and get some good food!”
“my first time trying their honey lavender coffee and I love it. I love the ambience and their succulent decor”
“Every time my daughter gets in the mood for a little ice cream, this is our go-to spot. It's always clean, friendly and fast. On my last visit, it stood out because we were looking for assistance with a couple of smoothies we had received at a different BR location. I purchased them on the other side of town and they were not consumable because they were so poorly made. So I stopped here to get new ones. After finding out what happened, Lea was wonderful enough to assist me with replacing both smoothies even though this is against their usual policy since each location is a franchise, meaning, you have to return it to the location where you purchased it if there are any issues to be corrected. She was kind enough to remake both smoothies and completely replace them. As for me, I took that as a lesson learned and decided it's probably best that I stick to this location for my purchases instead of "venturing out" to others. For an excellent BR experience every single time, I recommend this location.
By the way, in the heat of the day, my favorite refresher from here is the plain mango smoothie. It's absolutely delicious and refreshing and a small is around 300 calories!”
“Great food at reasonable prices..great selection..friendly folks..”
“Probably the best taco truck around. Food is really good and they don't skimp..Superl friendly people. As well. . Im handicapped and they will bring it to my car so i don't have to risk falling.
They deserve our business. Don't forget the lengua! Best ever!

“This was my first time in a Specialty's after all the Bay Area stores closed right around when CoViD hit. I'm so glad the owners decided to take a chance and open a new store at this location next to the NASA base.
For anyone who used to work in the FiDi in San Francisco, this feels like coming home. The sandwiches and cookies are the same tip-top quality as I remember, and the drink selection has gotten even better.
As for the service -- outstanding. I miss the cloth bags they use to hold large orders back when I used to order breakfast for the whole office, so I asked if I could buy one; instead the cashier walked to the back and got me two new bags for free, then wished me a pleasant day. What more could I ask.
The people of Mountain View don't know how good they've got it here. Come back, Specialty's, we miss you!
Parking: The parking lot is shared with other buildings in the same office complex. Not that large to begin with.
Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere. Plenty of tables and space for kids to roam. Bathrooms are large and very clean.”
“Love it! Fresh food and great service!! Please support this local business!!”
“This is my 10th time coming here, and 4th for a Basketball/Barbque event, it's like clock work, service is always excellent!
Parking: Front and side.
Kid-friendliness: Inside the Circle K Market”
“They ran out of beer and the waiter just ran down the street to get more! Great service!”
