“Rootstock Wine Bar in downtown Mountain View is a nice spot. Four of us visited and ordered wine flights and the sparkling Rosé—everything was good, especially the Rosé. The meat and cheese board was also great, with a special mention for the cheese selection.

The service was excellent, and they gave us good wine recommendations. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Had a team dinner here and they were able to accommodate a same day reservation for a group of 9 people. We weren’t able to get a table inside since they had another big party but the weather was so nice out that we all enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We ordered a few apps to share. My favorite was the calamari. Their focaccia bread was soft and delicious. I got the chicken parm which was pretty mediocre but coworker seemed to enjoy their pasta dishes.“

“Nice place, with great service and ambiance. Our drinks were excellent, while the food was ok, and portions were small and pricey, even for Pintxos (tapas). Seems unfortunate that tapas in the US never seem to be presented in the same spirit as in Spain or Portugal where they always seem like simple, affordable snacks. That said, I would probably go back as the location, drinks, and service are all great.“

“A very idyllic place for a fine wine tasting. The location is right in the middle of the action. The selection of wines is very large. We took two wine combinations and a pesto burrata plate. The wines and the platter were very tasty. Although the plate was small and the bread looked a bit strange, we were very satisfied. What led to a star deduction was the service lady. At the reception you will be served in a very friendly manner by the gentleman. Unfortunately, the lady with the done eyebrows and sprayed lips was very unmotivated. She didn't say a word when she took the order. It's really a shame to employ such a lady. Unfortunately, this brings down the rating significantly.“

“I hosted a small group for work at Sekoya and we had a fantastic time. Olivia, the head bartender, was super friendly and very accommodating when it came to making some custom cocktails. We were seated in the lounge area, which was really nice and casual for our group. We shared a bunch of starters and I'll have to call out that the fried mushrooms, the beef, tongue, skewers, and the crispy tuna rolls were really delicious! I had the tropical nights cocktail, which was so tasty and a good size drink. “

Coffee was smooth, served in delicate ornate Turkish china. Staff was wonderful and excited to welcome us, help with any questions. A quiet place for a lovely family dinner! Opening at 4 pm was very helpful, parking out front or in back. Felt like being transported to a gracious culture in a family’s home.“

“We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.“

We were blown away with the quality of the food. We loved the macaroni and cheese (so cheesy), the mushrooms, mash potatoes, Brussel sprouts and that Tomahawk steak was to die for.
Loved the fun environment and great service. Even the help staff was great with fresh bread (amazing seasonal pumpkin butter, yes PUMPKIN butter), water refills and ensuring our table was cleared promptly!

The waiter was very good. He really knew the menu and was able to give very good descriptions.

Drinks were good and the atmosphere is nice.

The steaks, they were cooked perfectly but underseasoned. We ordered a few appetizers and we didn't care for the short rib or the Jamon iberico with buratta. It was really fun when you get Cotton candy at the end. They're very accommodating especially if you're celebrating something.“

There is a Fleming’s near Stanford Hospital. I go there when my wife is on protein diet prior to a PET scan. They always get the order wrong. They’re very nice about it but it’s always wrong which means that food gets cold. But it is a tasty steak.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. “I really love coming to this place because it has a simple menu that’s perfectly executed. I’ve tried maybe 5 variations of their empanadas and each one came out super flavorful and fresh. The bread they use has a homemade authentic flavor and their spice isn’t actually too spicy. The empanadas do take ~5 minutes to warm up, but the atmosphere of the cafe feels very cozy and it’s a great place to read or relax. Sometimes they play soccer matches on the big screen and it almost gives a neighborhood bar feel. Really recommend!“

“Recently, we went to Afternoon tea at ESC in the Four seasons and it was such a delight.

The experience was different than other afternoon tea experiences and felt more intimate.

The portions are smaller than other places (especially for the price) but quality was delicious. For items we weren’t too fond of they took feedback well. Because I was pescatarian, I let them know ont he reservation and they took care in switching the items I couldn’t eat with items I could.

You can smell the teas beforehand and get a choice of two teas per person. I loved being able to do this!
