The cold mate was a great taste too, not bitter and a little sweet. Taking a few boxes of empanadas to a bbq and sure they will love it as much as i do, so much variety. The steak one, and spinach ones were my favorites. Dont forget to finish off with an alfajor!“

I walked north for awhile and found this wonderful coffee shop with tables in the blocked off street, free WiFi, great coffee, and friendly staff. I will return whenever I’m in the neighborhood. “In July of this year we celebrated our 60 th wedding anniversary by booking their side room.for a dinner party. Carlos , manager , was so helpful in planning menu and each guests could order thatvnite with everyone menu. We had choice of 2 salads, 5 entrees and 2 desserts. Our guests all raved about food and service. There was a table with appetizers for guests as they arrived and presented so nicely. Couldn’t have been happier and we were not charged for the room which several other places wanted to charge for just room. My daughter in law was able to go over that Saturday morning to decorate and put all flower arrangements in the tables. It looked amazing. Can’t say enough good things about the evening. “Delicious vegan options include the Scallion Oil Noodles, and the Chongqing Noodles (super spicy, but you can dilute the broth with water and it will stil be the most delicious soup you'll ever have, though it could use extra veggies), the Mapo Tofu Steamed Dumplings are divine, rhe scallion pancakes are flakey and yummy (though a bit oily), and the cucumber salad is refreshing.“

Stamos was an excellent host—we were warmly welcomed and received attentive, personalized service along with thoughtful recommendations and information about both the wine and food selections.

The pours were generous, the bread was freshly baked, and we appreciated that the wines and ingredients were sourced from local and small family-owned businesses. My husband and I, along with our 5-month-old daughter, thoroughly enjoyed this little afternoon escape and will definitely be returning. Next time, we'll have to save room for the tiramisu!“

The A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye was perfectly marbled and melted effortlessly, while the Crab and Caviar delivered a luxurious balance of brine and sweetness. The lobster toast was crisp, buttery, and indulgent, and the Black Bass—flawless in execution—was the best I’ve encountered. The Ricotta Dumplings , delicate yet deeply flavorful, rounded out an unforgettable meal. The shigoku oysters with whipped ponzu were indescribably fresh and flavorful. The sunflower Caesar, with its preserved tomato jam, was a unique and unforgettable twist on a classic. “We have enjoyed Elia about 4 times now for dinner. Overall, very nice upscale Greek cuisine. Main dishes are generously portioned. Love the grilled artichoke and dolmathes appetizer and the salads are solid. Souvlaki was well cooked, someone in our party has always ordered this and not been disappointed. Mousakka was ok - seemed baked a bit too long and was overly salted. Lobster tail pasta delicious; generous lobster portion and a very rich sauce.

Service: 3 of our 4 visits have had great service - solid and attentive but on our last visit, the service wasn't the same as the prior 3 times; the main server didn't come by all that frequently and the adjunct servers had to be reminded of a couple of small requests we made (drink refill, bread refill).“

“Came here for dinner yesterday and honestly had such a great time. The vibe is really chill but still feels upscale, love that combo. Great place to catch up with friends or a date night with your special one.

Everything we ordered was delicious, but here are the highlights:
Fried chicken - crispy, juicy, great flavor. Simple but done really well.
Rasa sliders - these are a MUST. So buttery and perfectly seasoned, we were obsessed.
White elephant butter paper dosa - another must-get! Super fun to eat and the dosa itself is perfectly crispy. The real move is trying it with all the different sauces, each one hits differently.
Duck - loved the balance of rice, meat and veggies. Nothing overdone, just really well put together.

Finished with the coconut puma for dessert and it was such a good call. Perfect way to end the meal. Would def come back to this hidden gem​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“My wife & I had Sekoya's 3-yr anniversary prix fixe meal. Everything just plain delicious. The Bavette steak was killer, the burrata starter excellent. My wife loved her yellowtail starter and halibut main. The butterscotch and watermelon desserts were delish. I brought a bottle and was treated to excellent wine service, beautiful glassware, with a (by today's standards) very reasonable $35 corkage. Sekoya is now on our radar, and we'll be back!“

“We had an absolutely exceptional dinner here! We ordered the hummus, the chicken kebab plate, and the combo kebab plate. The hummus was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the bread was served so warm and fresh that it practically melted in our mouth. The kebabs were hands down the best we’ve ever had-tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.
On top of the amazing food, the service was outstanding. The owner was very courteous and constantly checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed by the entire staff and management. Thank you for providing us with such a exquisite dinner experience-we will definitely be back!“

“This place has the best lasagna on the peninsula, hands down. The bolognese is by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten. It is layers and layers and layers of light, fresh pasta with the most flavorful sauce ever. And if you're in the mood for something with just the right kick, the italian sausage lasagna is fantastic! My daughter is a fan of the make your own pasta, where your choice of noodles, sause and protein gives you just what you want. They have a fabulous lobster ravioli and a fantastic porcini mushroom ravioli special that are favorites.

Meals start with some of the lightest bread ever made, and you cannot go wrong ending your meal with tiramisu. We will continue to go here often!“

We came to Field Works to watch the England vs. Croatia game, and since they are in partnership with Bahche, the food was brought straight to our table! Super fresh, warm and ready to munch by all at the table! The ceviche was super juicy and tasty, the shrimp, fish and octopus was absolutely delicious. The beef and chicken skewers had just the right marinate and grill marks that made us feel outdoors, as if they were grilled right beside us. All around excellent experience for myself my brother and our friends. Anybody visiting this area needs to visit Bahche, it’s super convenient to get to between El Camino and 101-S in a super nice renewed area of Hillsdale/San Mateo. Their baklava with ice cream topped off the amazing experience and it was to our liking. I must call out their attention to detail, check out my photo of the baklava. How they place it even for a to-go packaging! Awesome and well recommended!“

“Tried Roja in Los Altos on 8/25. We had a group gathering, dinner was very good. Menu selection is good. We brought our own wine and there was a corkage fee. The restaurant is not too big but we had 12 of us and was able to fit.

The rib eye dish was excellent. The duck breast also looks very good. Overall we had a good time. The food and service were very good.“
