Beautiful location, atmosphere,vibe and service.

“Amazing location but local individuals are ignorant.Me and my husband had some wine which was amazing ….2 hour later , two Indians came in , ordered and sat next to us . After a few minutes, they started voicing , complaining that we were speaking on the phone (not directly but went to complain to the employee working )Very sad that because we were speaking on the phone “ we were non educated “.Location is very nice but these some local individuals are disgusting.Individual employee serving the wine and attending to the location was amazing :) would come back just because of his service“

“Although their main deck is not open the secondary deck overlooking a small valley behind the hill of Saratoga is also great! Tasted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and was impressed. No need to go to Napa in order to have some nice wine and great serene atmosphere“

“My friend and I went on Sunday evening for a ladies' day. This place was beautiful; seating inside/outside as well as bar seating. The menu is small but delicious, and the service was fantastic. Although it was busy, the owner came by our table often and gave little complimentary bites off the menu, very knowledgeable and passionate about wine, and made fantastic recommendations. Also, I was kind enough to ask about allergies/food restrictions prior to making recommendations. It was like a piece of Italy there. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.“

All of their foods are scrumptious but we especially enjoyed the Bucatini - surprise fusion of Tom Yum soup in a pasta form! You really can't go wrong. “Rootstock Wine Bar in downtown Mountain View is a nice spot. Four of us visited and ordered wine flights and the sparkling Rosé—everything was good, especially the Rosé. The meat and cheese board was also great, with a special mention for the cheese selection.

“Rootstock was a great place for some tastings! They thoughtfully created wine flights of 3 different wines - reds or whites. Unfortunately not a combination of both red and white. The food was good. We came at happy hour. The service was excellent. She was very kind and helped us choose the wines best suited to our tastes. So many wines to choose from! Excelled selection and variety. Really nice space too. The only criticism I have is the inside had a very strong odour. Like a stale beer bar mat :/ that’s it. Was a great place to visit and enjoy the patio weather.“

“A very idyllic place for a fine wine tasting. The location is right in the middle of the action. The selection of wines is very large. We took two wine combinations and a pesto burrata plate. The wines and the platter were very tasty. Although the plate was small and the bread looked a bit strange, we were very satisfied. What led to a star deduction was the service lady. At the reception you will be served in a very friendly manner by the gentleman. Unfortunately, the lady with the done eyebrows and sprayed lips was very unmotivated. She didn't say a word when she took the order. It's really a shame to employ such a lady. Unfortunately, this brings down the rating significantly.“

“We were there on a night with street music on Murphy so more crowded than usual and maybe a bit understaffed. They created additional seating for us outside which was great. Food was ok and the menu was eclectic but sufficient to offer many choices with a large wine and beer selection. They looked to have a full bar inside but only served wine and beer which was fine for us. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of large parties that took up time. Overall we were happy with our experience.“

We were blown away with the quality of the food. We loved the macaroni and cheese (so cheesy), the mushrooms, mash potatoes, Brussel sprouts and that Tomahawk steak was to die for.
Loved the fun environment and great service. Even the help staff was great with fresh bread (amazing seasonal pumpkin butter, yes PUMPKIN butter), water refills and ensuring our table was cleared promptly!

“I went the other night with my wife and two friends. We ordered:

1 Opera Cake
2 Lychee de Leche
1 Tito's Martini (espresso)
1 Far East Fashioned
1 BTG Sauvignon Blanc

The waiter was very good. He really knew the menu and was able to give very good descriptions.

Drinks were good and the atmosphere is nice.

Only downside is how high the prices are but we knew that going in.“

“Had a team dinner here and they were able to accommodate a same day reservation for a group of 9 people. We weren’t able to get a table inside since they had another big party but the weather was so nice out that we all enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We ordered a few apps to share. My favorite was the calamari. Their focaccia bread was soft and delicious. I got the chicken parm which was pretty mediocre but coworker seemed to enjoy their pasta dishes.“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. “I dined at Alexander's when it was in a different location and remembered it being really good. This time it's not as great as I remembered. Service from Victor was amazing though. The steaks, they were cooked perfectly but underseasoned. We ordered a few appetizers and we didn't care for the short rib or the Jamon iberico with buratta. It was really fun when you get Cotton candy at the end. They're very accommodating especially if you're celebrating something.“
