“What a lovely addition to Capitola Village. We went to celebrate my 60th birthday 🎂. The owner were fantastic and made me feel super special. Even sang happy birthday and gave me a really yummy chocolate caramel apple. The wine list was lovely, so many options. They have a great option for charcuterie. Pay the extra for the full board only $56. You get so much! The cheeses and meats are so fresh and tasty. All the extras really accentuate the experience. He also has with it Twin Kitchens jam and mustard. I will definitely go again and again. What a perfect way to celebrate! 🎉🎂🐝💕“

Marin, John, Ford, all the folks always take the time to really talk about what they are pouring in a way that is unpretentious and always educational. I love the nicknames - Hotflash, Still Horny - the sense of humor and the Aloha spirit is everywhere. These folks work really hard to create an excellent product and an excellent experience. Movie nights are super fun, often there is live music, and we always meet the most interesting and intelligent people. Their tasting room on the summit also rocks!“

The outdoor patio is beautiful and has the perfect water fixture if you’re flying solo (like me). Prices are similar to going rates. I always love supporting my community and local business. Empanadas are amazing and the menu helps you pair food & wine. Because I was relaxing before the Santa Cruz Warriors game, they offered a special deal- glass of wine with 2 empanadas for $19 (great dinner value for one person).“

“Armitage wines offers a truly outstanding experience. It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. “I can’t say enough good things about Brad, Linda, and staff. They are wonderful to be around and everyone really cares about the food. There is something on the menu for the vast majority of eaters. The garden on site is walkable and absolutely gorgeous. For food: beef cheeks, fried chicken, and any pasta you care for. Wine: a broad selection of interesting bottles Non-alcoholic: lemonade 😋“

“This is a restaurant with an elegant atmosphere , great service , good wine list and a wide selection of North-Indian dishes.
Food , however, is NOT authentic Indian. We found it bland but a bit excessive in oil & certain flavorings/ spices.

We ordered the Paneer sizzler, vegan butter chicken, mutter paneer, vegan aloo paratha, plain naan and raita.

I requested some achaar- Indian pickle and the house made achar was satisfying. Naan & raita were both very satisfying as well !

The aloo paratha was disappointing with unnecessarily excessive flavoring .

The dessert menu was very small and boring. We ended the meal with the ghulab jamun, served hot. It was good !“
