“If you are trying to figure out what to eat in Capitola I HIGHLY recommend Left Coast Sausage Worx.To start the service was outstanding. Very friendly and welcoming. The choices of sausage were spot on. I normally stay away from the average hot dog. But Left Coast Sausage Worx has some of the highest quality of sausages in Santa Cruz. They post all the details of the sausage on the menu and source multiple options from Corralitos, home to mouth watering sausages.Their buns are sourced from Aldos bakery. A local bakery/restaurant that my family has been going to for years. For thoes not interested in meat they have a veggie sausage! This was my order and it was the most flavorful sausage I had ever tried. Had my boyfriend try it and he was mind blown for how rich it was with italian flavor. You can find some bomb eats here without breaking the bank.Highly recommend and will be returning.“

Capitola Tap House Brewery • $$
401 Capitola Ave, Capitola

“This is a fun place to go with friends to try a variety of local kombucha, beer, wine, and coffee. One of my favorites is Living Swell's kombucha Notorious which is a raspberry and lemon flavor that tastes amazing on tap! Amy the owner is very nice and helpful about what to try. She is offering food now too that I look forward to trying asap. Plenty of comfy seating inside and there is an outside bar as well. It's right in the Capitola village and a short walk to the beach so it's location is perfect. This is definitely worth a stop next time you get a chance and it's always awesome to support a local business.“

Sante Adairius Rustic Ales Brewery • $$
103 Kennedy Dr, Capitola

“Amazing craft brew. The brewers here are definitely special. Rustic is the perfect way to describe their best work. They impart an old world feel and taste to the art of brewing. Have never really had anything that compares to the overall offerings of Sante Andairius. Tomorrow Today and Deaf Stewart are two of my favorites. If you love barrel aged saison's or delicious double hazy IPA, this place needs to be in your "must try" list.“

“The best fish tacos I've ever had. Don't know how they do it, but their battered fish is the perfect balance of crispy and salty. The pickled radish slice on top is a treat in and of itself. Their Tinga Taco (chicken) is a thing a beauty as well. I highly recommend a visit. It's a small clean place with a few small tables and stools set at a narrow bar. They don't sell beer or wine, so it is a bit of a bummer not to be able to enjoy one with the tacos. Chips & Salsa are extra, but honestly, two fish tacos hit the spot on their own. The ladies there are super friendly (and they make the best tacos).“

“Went here for my birthday with some friends and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the guacamole and chips which were so delicious, I couldn't stop eating! Also ordered a frozen strawberry marg and it was so refreshing~ The tacos were to die for though, I didn't feel heavy after eating them so definitely recommend! The service was fantastic and since it was my birthday, our waitress gave us the option between a free dessert or free birthday shot which I thought was so awesome. The restaurant was clean and I loved the ambiance, would definitely eat here again (:“

“The food was super yummy! A little pricey but still very good. The restaurant is very clean, the service could have been better. The young Hispanic cashier was very rude, seemed like she did not want to be there or our presence annoyed her. The other young lady who brought us our food was super friendly and attentive. I would definitely try again, hopefully the young cashier who helped us is in a better mood.“

My partner chose the Salmon Lover roll and it was also just as good. The pieces are large and i really appreciate that. Rolls were made fresh and prompt. We stopped by for dinner around 5:45pm. Cork and Fork Capitola Wine Bar • $$
312 Capitola Ave, Capitola

“Nice location, comfortable fun setting with fun live music. The owner is oddly rude, I ordered a wine flight, she seemed annoyed we were there but served us. I just thought maybe it was busy so didn't think much of it. She brought out our drinks and my flight good but wouldn't tell us what was in each glass. At first I thought maybe the rudeness was a joke, but no just didn't want to tell us what I was drinking. I was hoping to order a glass of one of the ones I liked but the owner was so rude we decided to just leave and move on. Very odd and disappointing. Maybe it was just a bad day.Update: thanks for the reply. We didn't realize how the blind flight worked and it was busy near closing so I guess we didn't pursue it too much. We will have to come try again, I did love the ambience and the flight was good. Maybe update the menu to explain how the blind flight works.“

“Over this past weekend I found myself craving an açaí bowl. In the past, I have enjoyed the açaí primo bowl at Jamba Juice, but I wanted to continue pursuing my goal to personally seek out small business alternatives. Amazon Juices was a fantastic find. I was greeted kindly by Hannah, the lovely cashier who helped me this Sunday. I informed her that I had never been there before, and she answered my many questions considerately. I definitely wanted to try their açaí bowl, but was between the two sizes they offer. Hannah pointed out the minuscule price difference, which led me to go with the 24oz, and I'm very happy I did. I requested that honey, chia seeds, & coconut be added. It was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of that bowl. The amount of granola that the bowl comes with was very generous, and the same goes for all the toppings I asked for. Without the toppings I ordered, the price was about the same as the açaí bowl at Jamba juice, except you'll get a higher quantity of better quality ingredients here. My only complaint - No goji berries! I think you guys could really benefit from adding that as a topping option. I know I'd order it.“
