“Good tacos, but the quesabirria is so damn good! Beware: it's the kind of food that you don't want to stop eating because it's so yummy, even when you're stuffed! Recently you can't tip on the card though, so it's more of a hassle, otherwise it would be 5 stars.“

“Visiting my son Michael and he asked if I wanted him to pick up Korean food for lunch. I said, "Sure, they have Korean food in Boulder Creek?" OMG, it was wonderful. We had the best Pork Bulgogi Bibimbap! It was so delicious! I asked if they had Kimchi Stew? He said the owner was making some and they gave him a sample. He said it was so good and hoped they would put it on their menu. Definitely going to get food from here again next time we visit. Michael said the owners were very friendly and he would be making regular stops at Redwood Keg Liquor and Deli for their food! Check it out if you like Korean food, it will not disappoint.“

“Scopazzi's is the best. The staff is always great, the food is always great, and the atmosphere is one of the best the county has to offer, maybe the best, in fact. If you are coming from far away, it's worth it. Make the drive, have an amazing dinner or brunch or whatever you are in time for. Take your time, and enjoy the place.I'm going to take a moment for a criticism though, so you all don't think I'm just some kind of shill... Don't order the sausage with the Fettuccine Alfredo. The sausage is tasty, but you will pay $5 for literally six tiny pieces of sausage. You will think to yourself... What kind of sausage costs $1 per quarter inch? You will be pretty upset.Okay, that aside, everything is great. Thursday only for Lasagna, and I think Saturday only for the prime rib. Both are great. We sat outside on the patio which was cozy with heaters and individual blankets at each seat.While the cocktails and food were excellent, what truly made our celebration extraordinary was the exceptional service from our server, Richard. “I appreciate any cafe these days that is a nice spot to do work at, since many don't have ample seating or wifi! Sue's Gallery cafe is spacious, has delicious drinks, and wifi! It's in a really nice spot that's quiet and not super busy, and there's some street parking nearby. I sat outside to do some work while the weather was nice, and it was a great experience. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but the vanilla latte and toast was delicious nonetheless.“

“I had an iced mocha to drink. It tasted great! To eat, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. The gravy was excellent, and so were the biscuits. The eggs were just a little under seasoned, but were other wise great. Staff were very friendly. It did take about 5-10 minutes to be seated though. They should hire a little extra help.“

The maitre de had incredible recommendations and knew the menu inside and out. For appetizers the capelleti, souffle and tartare were all incredible and I would highly recommend all of them. The fried pork chop was incredibly juicy and crispy at the same time and was an amazing main course. The halibut was cooked perfectly and served with an incredible jus and puree. “Been here a million times and took a million photos, yet this is the first time I’ve done a review.It’s pretty short and simple…..this place servers good vibes, tasty dranks and yummy snacks. Not sure if things have changed since the establishment opened, but they don’t serve hot foods as they don’t have a full kitchen. All their snacks are really good though (deviled eggs, spiced nuts). The drinks are REALLY good, like the best cocktail spot in town.We came on a Wednesday at 8pm and it was pretty groovin. I would def make a reservation for a Friday or Saturday. I’ve tried walking in with just two peeps and they are almost always full. They do have a big patio but even then, it’s so packed.Brian is the only face I recognize. Didn’t see Jacob. Both are friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. I always go with their recommendation, and it never fails.Parking is easy. They have a standalone lot they share with a restaurant and other smaller nearby businesses, but there’s also a lot of street parking. Better yet, just Uber bc you will have at least three cocktails before you leave.“

“Tucked in the cute little downtown Saratoga is this unpretentious brewery with such an inviting name, which may be mistaken for some other type of eatery or a place of family reunion. Open and airy. Today, the owner seems to be getting ready for St. Patrick's Day, wearing greens and the hat, looking unintentionally cute. I should add that they have Irish music radio on, too. Fantastic! So caring and attentive. Mixed style of furniture and a piano make me wonder what fun stuff could take place once the sun goes down. I was planning to have a pint of hazy IPA. Unfortunately, they don't have it. But the owner kindly mixed two different IPA's for me to taste. I ended up ordering their West Coast IPA, which was equally good as my imaginary hazy IPA. I will come back here for the beer and lounging experience, which is desperately needed and appreciated in the Bay Area.“

“Had to wait a little. But I was in no rush. I got the mile high bagel sandwich, blueberry muffin, and latte. Everything was delicious. The sandwich looks small, but it was super filling. The bagel tasted like it was freshly made. It was soft and airy and nicely toasted. Very delicious! It's definitely worth the wait. Love to support local cafes. This one is in a quiet part of town by the bus station, and there's a library across the street. Not too much car traffic on a Monday morning.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. “Solid spot for brunch in Los Gatos! They have both indoor and outdoor patio dining. The outdoor dining area has heat lamps, and they'll open up the awning when it gets too sunny out! I got the Crab Souffle Omelette, and I really enjoyed it! The omelette itself was huge! I was impressed with just how fluffy it was--way better than an ordinary omelette! The Crab Souffle omelette is filled with crab, avocado, tomato, mushrooms, and topped with hollandaise sauce. All of the souffle omelettes come with a bakery item and herb potatoes and grits. I love that you can get a specialty bakery item like their carrot walnut bread or raspberry coffee cake in addition to their selection of breads/English muffin/bagel. You can even add their cinnamon roll, but it will cost you an extra $5. I recommend getting their carrot walnut bread! It's tasty--a little savory and a little sweet--with a great combination of textures. I tried some of the raspberry coffee cake but did not like it as much. I would also recommend getting the herb potatoes instead of the grits. The herb potatoes were quite yummy! We were expecting the grits to be like cheesy grits or shrimp and grits (something with flavor) but these ended up just being plain grits. So unless that's what you're looking for, go with the potatoes! Service is pretty fast and efficient. Parking is street parking or park in one of the nearby public lots. There are a bunch of these in Downtown Los Gatos, so I've never had to walk too far!“

It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. The current owners are very welcoming and attentive and especially dedicated to creating a great tasting experience for their guests. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip. If this does not convince you, please see the attached photos. I am in no way affiliated to this place, but was simply amazed by our afternoon here.“

“Location: Located at the far end of downtown Los Gatos, this coffee shop is very easy to miss if you drive or even walk by. Free parking is available on the street and around the block.The storefront is nestled and hidden well by adjacent buildings so as you get closer, do look out for the signs.They have a great selection of coffee and snacks. I ordered the rose infused latte and was pleasantly surprised by the nice aroma of rose and the subtle yet appealing rose flavor. The drink was made well and absolutely recommend you try this if it's listed on the menu.They do have adequate space inside the store but also outside. The day was warm and pleasantly inviting to sit outside and tried it. You do have to put up with the noise from heavy vehicles passing through.“

The bartender is very friendly & knowlegable; I had the beer flight which had everything from a refreshing lite beer, a porter that had notes of chocolate; vanilla, & caramel; an ipa that was not too overwhelmingly hoppy, a stout that was crisp & nutty. I got a can of their raspberry beer, stout, & porter to go (they have sell by the can as well.) I was not disappointed & will be back to try their food. So, for wonderful beer in a quaint relaxing atmosphere with friendly service at reasonable prices, Woodhouse cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.“

We were in Los Gatos for their Sunday Street Market but the drizzle made us choose an early lunch. 4.6 stars on Google is no easy feat so we were excited to know there were seats availalable.Unlike typical French restaurants where everything is snooty, if not unnecessarily greasy, we were welcomed as if we were visiting a distant relative in their beautiful cottage, somehow in the outskirts of Paris. The huge windows let in the wet sunlight with window-side tables occupied by a loving elderly couple... a perfect scene that sets the mood. Chef Philippe (I would think he is) seems he's moved over from France and truly gave us a loving welcome and intro to the restaurant. The interior is literally a picture book with various corners all carrying their unique stories but all strung together with the air they share.By the time we were ordering, our mood was already soft and I was sipping on delicious coffee. We went with the Onion Soup and the Escargot, as well as sweet crepes, etc. The onion soup inches near perfection in terms of the depth of taste and the wholesomeness it provides. The star of the show was the escargot though. I do not know what black magic they used to create the garlic butter sauce the escargots sat in but it was pure heaven. Just dipping fresh baguette into the escarbot pits and chewing on it simply made my day. At that point, my review was already decided. It was one of the happiest and tastiest experiences I've had in the Bay Area in a while. And mind you, I wasn't even that hungry.The mussels were fabulous with distinct white wine sauce. The French Fries were clearly made with love. And the strawberry crepes, again, were quite good, although you really can't go too wrong here.Chez Philippe truly is a gem in Los Gatos. I believe it is relatively new but I don't come here too often. Either way, what a wonderful restaurant. And we'll absolutely be back.Parking: Find public parking in Los Gatos downtown. There are few lots parallel to Santa Cruz Ave, as well as if you get lucky, you can street park on Santa Cruz itself.“

“Stopped by here on a drive to Santa Cruz. We got there just as the opened on a Saturday. I don't typically drink beer at noon on a Saturday but I couldn't pass up the chance to visit a brewery I've never been to. The bartender was very welcoming and friendly. The taproom was small but nice. I got a the Black Mayle stout. It was good. I didn't get a feel for the vibe since we were the only people there at opening. If ever in the area again, I'd like to visit again.“

Everything is highfalutin, which accompanies the prices. A tavern should be cheap, mainly serve beer, and probably have a pub food list. “I absolutely love photographing weddings at Byington Vineyard & Winery. This location is such an amazing gem of the central California coast and Santa Cruz Mountains. This vineyard and winery goes to great lengths to create an amazing and high quality wine. The estate is so serene and scenic and provides countless gorgeous backdrops for weddings. There is a perfect spot to get married called Wedding Hill and the staff is so great and helpful. I highly suggest getting married here.“

Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, but didn't hover and let us chat and catch up. We had the scallops, beet salad, risotto, chocolate cake, key lime pie and then of course the drinks! Had to get the kiss the bubble drink (Instagram worthy), snow storm, kiwi do you love me, and cantarito. The meal was good, but the drinks and desserts were what we would come back for. We had an amazing experience because Ben, our server took such good care of us ..making excellent food and drink suggestions and generally taking good care of our group. We ordered the carpaccio appetizer as well as the mushroom and polenta appetizer and the artichoke appetizer... all 3 were very tasty. I ordered the Sea bass special and thought it was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the other entrées that my family ordered included the lasagna, the short ribs, steak, and pasta with blue crab- everyone thought their food was delicious. I can't say enough about the quality of the food and friendly service at this local gem.“

“Awesome wine tasting room in DTLG! I met a friend here and as soon as I got to the table, the tasting room associate delivered me a pour of their rosé, which was absolutely fabulous. After sipping on that, we chose from their 5 different tasting flights, all of which consisted of 3 wines at various prices. I went with the saison experience, which consisted of 1 white and 2 reads, and my friend the burgundy flight, which was all pinots. As we worked thorough our tastings we were delighted to be given another extra pour that was similar to our flights. Each time we were given a wine/new wine to try we were provided with some information about the grapes and the style the wine was made - tasting notes with flavor profiles for each wine were listed on the back of the menu with all the wines they had.Overall we had a great experience and both ended up going home with at least a bottle. I went home with the rosé and merlot, and I was tempted to go home with even more than one bottle of that rosé. Definitely plan to come back here and taste again sometime!“

“Food - Good north Indian cuisine to satisfy those cravings. Paneer tikka masala & makhani dal, both tasted good. Not any floating oil in either of them. I am sure it had some cream for creamyness. Bread basket had pesto naan, garlic & plain naan. They don't offer substitutions for basket. All were crispy, soft. Curry also accompanied with white rice. Cauliflower manchurian was too saucy and nothing great about it. Service- Service was good. Ambiance- its a big space restaurant in saratoga DT. Ambiance was decent.
