The restaurant settings look modern, neat and spacious (not overly crowded). The host and waiters were nice, we felt welcome. It was a Saturday noon time, but no wait.

We ordered a cocktail (Kiss my grass), a Vietnamese sandwich that comes with a soup (Pho Bahn Mi Dip), and a Big Hass Omelette that looks more like an Asian style. Overall, they all tasted good. The presentation of the food is nice. The portion is a bit small, IMO, given the price of each dish.

As I was eating my sandwich, I kept thinking in my head - is it really worth paying for this? After all, I was not just paying for the food, I also paid for using the fancy plate, utensils, and enjoying the restaurant settings. I was not getting a to-go sandwich.

It was our first time trying out this restaurant, the host and the food were good. It is worth a 4-star ratings, but the value proposition didn't quite work for me.“

“We recently visited Bai Tong Thai Restaurant in Saratoga and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The staff were warm, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

We ordered the Panang Curry with Brown Rice, and both were prepared very well. The curry had a rich, creamy texture with a nice balance of sweetness, spice, and authentic Thai flavors. The vegetables were fresh, and the overall dish was satisfying and comforting. The brown rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the flavorful curry.

While we genuinely enjoyed the meal, we’ve had slightly better Panang Curry at a few Thai restaurants in Cupertino, where the flavors were a bit more bold and complex. That said, Bai Tong still serves a delicious and authentic version that’s well worth trying, especially if you’re in the Saratoga area.

“Had my engagement party here in early December 2025 and it was a hit! While email correspondence was sometimes slow, everything was in order when we got there on the day and the team at Hapa's were all really kind, accommodating, and fun! I was able to rent out the inside portion of the brewery, decorate, and choose my own music. The brews are always great, and the food was good. Everything went smoothly on the day of, and I still get compliments from friends and family on how it was a great place for our party. Highly recommend renting it out if you're looking for a place to celebrate an event!“

It is not just the great history of the estate which was formerly owned by Alfred Hitchcock, but the delicious and high quality wines that you can sample in this amazing setting. We spend a whole afternoon trying the different wines and I have to say it is rarely the case that I am as pleased with the sampling as I was at Armitage. Next to this, the vineyard offers amazing views. Tucked away in the redwood trees you can see for miles while overlooking the grapes from the top of the estate. When the sun sets in the afternoon, it makes for an amazing play of light and shadows. We truly loved visiting this place and will definitely come back. It is well worth a trip.
