I witness some racism in the restaurant with the employees. I was sitting next to a table with Spanish man and a gay person along with a black woman. The employees took their time and waited for awhile until they received service! I set in right after we did in my party. We were served 1st and we were out the restaurant with a bad tastes on service next to us. We were served great and took care of us. Scopazzi’s has long since been a favorite venue for the BCBA to host events. From dinner/auction fundraisers to roundtable meetings to lunch meetings and now our 1st annual community planning event. They knocked it out of the park today for the CPE! Thank you to Talal and all of the staff!
I hadn’t been here since I was a kid because I don’t live in the area. We had a big party in the banquet room and it was so fun. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!! We’ll definitely be going back!

Scopazzi's | Restaurant and Lounge is a historic and classic dining spot known for its flavorful and traditional food. Over the years, it has been a favorite place for many, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with live piano music and decorative touches that create a nice ambiance, perfect for romantic dinners or special occasions. The restaurant is appreciated for its large portions, especially dishes like rack of lamb and appetizers, which are known for their presentation, flavor, and generous servings that leave guests full and satisfied.
The food often receives high praise, with standout items like clam chowder, Chicken Picatta, and tableside tossed Caesar salads that are prepared with care and skill. Many visitors have enjoyed the mix of creativity and traditional flavors, making each meal enjoyable. However, some recent visits have noted a decline in the quality of presentation and portion size, with meals becoming smaller and less flavorful, and a lack of decoration on plates. There have been comments about the croutons and salads not being as fresh or flavorful as before.
Service quality varies, with some guests experiencing attentive and friendly staff offering good recommendations, while others have noted a decline in interest and attention from staff, especially for non-regulars. The restaurant's decor remains charming and suitable for a romantic or relaxed night out, though some feel it could benefit from updating. Overall, many still consider Scopazzi's a special place with a rich history, and they hope it can regain its former excellence.
