“Went here for my birthday with some friends and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the guacamole and chips which were so delicious, I couldn't stop eating! Also ordered a frozen strawberry marg and it was so refreshing~ The tacos were to die for though, I didn't feel heavy after eating them so definitely recommend! The service was fantastic and since it was my birthday, our waitress gave us the option between a free dessert or free birthday shot which I thought was so awesome. The restaurant was clean and I loved the ambiance, would definitely eat here again (:“

“Gabriel made this an excellent experience from the first contact until his team left our party. We had Taquizas Gabriel Food Truck come for our company party. We will definitely use him again! Gabriel called me very quickly after I left a message, he sent me the information about the different packages and then allowed some changes. They were there when they said they would arrive, quickly had everything set up and was ready to serve tacos in a few minutes! The truck was very clean and they were clearly prepared to make everyone happy!! Tacos were all delicious, everyone was very happy! We will book Taquizas Gabriel again!! Thank you Gabriel!!“
“I absolutely enjoyed the food here! I ordered Shrimp tacos with a side of chips and salsa and guacamole and it was very fresh and delicious. The food was ready within 15mins and the staff were nice and friendly. They have nice terrace that has a bar setting where you can enjoy your food or drink and have a good view of the beach, it's cozy and quiet.“
“Being a long time fan of the Original Taco's Moreno, we thought we would give this one a try and I am glad we did. My son and I ordered the fish tacos and they were some of the best we have had. This was our first visit but it will not be our last.“
“Came here randomly on a Monday and wow. SO GOOD! Very reasonably priced and I love that you can sit inside at the bar and enjoy a cold cerveza. The sweet small woman at the front greeted us and took our order. When she went in the back to cook our meals I just knew it was going to be some bomb authentic Mexican food. So glad we found this place, I'd always pass by it without thinking to pop in. My boyfriend got the chimichanga and really enjoyed it (forgot to take a photo of his). Lots of customers came through while we were here, so I got the feeling this was a little gem. Muchas gracias!!“
“They have tasty authentic Mexican food! I go every time I am in the Santa Cruz / Capitola area. It is right on the beach, the perfect location!Parking: It is on the beach, it is possible to get lucky and find a nearby spot, but I usually park a few streets down.“
“The best fish tacos I've ever had. Don't know how they do it, but their battered fish is the perfect balance of crispy and salty. The pickled radish slice on top is a treat in and of itself. Their Tinga Taco (chicken) is a thing a beauty as well. I highly recommend a visit. It's a small clean place with a few small tables and stools set at a narrow bar. They don't sell beer or wine, so it is a bit of a bummer not to be able to enjoy one with the tacos. Chips & Salsa are extra, but honestly, two fish tacos hit the spot on their own. The ladies there are super friendly (and they make the best tacos).“
