“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The food is always amazing. Never disappoints. But nothing beats having the tag team Gabby and Arianna wait on you! I came in on a busy afternoon, but these two wonderful servers were quick to seat me and get drinks going (along with chips and salsa!). They were running all around trying to make sure all their tables and customers were taken care of. Such an amazing team those two! I wish all restaurants had servers like this. “This lovely restaurant has excellent service. I got a chicken taco\sopa lunch combo. It was a lot of food! Food was served with 2-extra fresh made tortillas. So it was ironic that the chips tasted like bargain-store bought. The chicken was tasty but a little plain with a slight odd aftertaste. I know people don't usually think much about the water, but the water was filtered and yummier than usual. All in all I had a good meal, but I often go to a nearby place that I prefer.“

“This is a nice place to eat. The place is supper clean, the ladies there keeps on cleaning and takes away any plates that are not being used.
The food is served very quick, that means that the chefs are on top of the game. We requested to drain a cup and they were very kind to offer us a new one.

“I’m an Australian on vacation and was was looking for some nice Mexican food so stopped at Mi Tierra. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was great and I could see it is a family run & owned restaurant. The gentleman serving me was polite & helpful. I ordered a burrito which was superb, and enjoyed an ice tea with it.
A local Hispanic friend assured me Mi Tierra’s food is the most authentic in Salinas.“

“Humongous is the word to use for their supreme burrito. The carne asade filling has a pronounced grilled taste which is lovely, definitely will return for it again. The al pastor taco is yummy too.

“We have been coming here for many years. The carnitas are always on point and delicious. We usually get an order of carnitas and buche to make tacos at home. Recently, we decided to try their tacos and they are pretty good. There was nowhere to sit inside. Service was good. Cash only!!“

“My husband and I visited this place before starting our hand rail tours, arriving with quite the appetite. We ordered the blackened shrimp quesadilla, which was both incredibly filling and delicious—the shrimp were impressively large and the portions generous. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa, which were very tasty. However, the highlight of our visit was the outstanding customer service. The gentleman who greeted us was exceptionally kind, charismatic, and accommodating. It's a pity we live in Hayward because we would definitely return! The restaurant is very clean and prices are great!“

Their Menudo broth is a little fattier Mama Lupitas and Fish n Chips but comes with more than just tripe which I love, and its available regularly everyday. “Ok..so this is the lunch truck right off of HWY 101 and 129. I be stopped by a few times now..great breakfast burrito..but their best is the tacos con papas! One of my coworkers got their cell number so we just call our order in..wait 10 minutes and head out to pick them up. Always nice hot and ready. As soon as we walked in, the lady greeted us. She said we could sit anywhere and she was so friendly to all of us, including my baby.

The food was scrumptious. My mom loved her Caldo de Res. Her caldo came with a side of rice and hand made tortillas.

My enchilada plate was so delicious.

My daughter ordered an OJ and it’s so fresh. They make it right then and there.

It’s so calm inside- just the server, the customers, and the person cooking.
They have plants inside and a vase of sunflowers.

In addition, they have a bathroom for customers only.

Of course, the only downside is parking. Park on the street or behind the building but, you’ll be lucky if you can find any because there’s only a few spaces in the back. Do not park in the super market parking; they will tow your car.
