El Palmar Reviews
We had a good experience at El Palmar.
The restaurant was clean, and it was not too crowded when we visited in the afternoon, which made for a relaxed atmosphere.

El Palmar is a hidden gem that serves impressive and delicious Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is known for its handmade tortillas, generous portions, and flavorful dishes. Customers often comment on the great portions for the price, with some unable to finish their meals and taking leftovers home. The menu includes favorites like four tacos with half a pound of meat each, spicy prawns with rice and beans, and chili Verde sopas. The chef is particularly skilled in cooking steaks, including the well-loved steak dish. Service is friendly and welcoming, with staff making guests feel like family. While the restaurant is family-run and may have longer wait times, many say the food and warm atmosphere make it worth it. Overall, El Palmar remains a favorite spot to enjoy a consistently good, home-cooked style meal. Parking can sometimes be limited, but nearby spots are usually available.
