Have you ever driven by a restaurant for years and just never tried it ? I'm guilty of that, and this restaurant was impressive. After reading my friends review I had to try it and just look at my pictures. All the food plus dessert was 59$. Are you kidding me, and wow, so good. I got 4 tacos 2 Carne asada 2 pastor so much meat great flavor. These tacos have to be a half pound of meat in each, impressive. Spicy prawns with rice and beans excellent ?. I also tried chili Verde sopas outstanding flavor everything fresh and tasty,the delicate white corn sopas were outstanding. I got what I thought was a piece of bread pudding ,check out the picture, and they gave me 4 pieces with sauce, delicious. The tortillas are handmade in house so much better than store bought. I gave 4 stars for service because it can take 20 to 30 minutes for food to be prepared. I went at 1pm not busy plus I ordered lots of food .Stop driving by this gem, treat yourself they even have steak and know how to cook it ?Parking: Sometimes parking limited in front of restaurant when busy. Next door is a small strip mall with lots of parking you just have to walk 100ft to restaurant.

Has to stop going…good food but we always wait 20-30 mins for bill after eating. If the daughters working it’s worse. Our last time we never got checked up on and waited over 30 mins for bill while she walked back and forth and didn’t acknowledge us or ask if we needed anything, until my mom walked out and I waited longer for bill myself. We ate there multiple times, but we won’t be returning again!
I've been coming here since 2007. I've seen the owners children grow up and I now bring my child in from time to time. The food is consistently good and the owners have always been nice.

They are very short staffed. The same person that took our order, cooked our food. Even with only 6 tables, it took over an hour to get our food. The free Saturday nachos arrived as we were leaving. Food was OK, but not worth the wait.

We were in the area for a week house-sitting for a friend and after reading the (mostly very good) reviews, we decided to try this place for dinner. I love Mexican food! Sure, some of the reviews mentioned the longer wait, but that it was worth it. Well, we had to wait about 15 minutes before someone came and took our order. It was another half hour before we got our food. It was not great. My cheese enchiladas were just meh. I felt like they could have used a little more sauce, but the sauce was not that good. My husband got the a different enchilada than he ordered, and although they made it right, it just meant more waiting. The meals were supposed to come with 2 hand-made tortillas, but we got nothing until we asked for them. Again, more waiting. All in all, although the minimal staffing tried their best and was more than polite and accommodating, it was sooooo difficult to be patient. Sometimes, the food is worth the wait. But not this time.

Great food with a food selection beyond their daily Mexican menu. Steaks are perfect and the pork chops to die for. We had steak and Lobster one night that was perfect!

Diamond in the Rough! Food Amazing food! Authentic Cali-Mex food! Huge portions and really affordable! You will usually be stuffed and even have leftovers to take home. Chips and salsa are fantastic! Nachos with Carne Asada is epic! That appetizer is a meal in its own. Burrito supreme is like a 3 pound burrito, and with Al Pastor meat, wow! Service Good customer service with a mom and pop feel to it! Ambience It's dated, but let me tell you about the food!!!
