“Ok..so this is the lunch truck right off of HWY 101 and 129. I be stopped by a few times now..great breakfast burrito..but their best is the tacos con papas! One of my coworkers got their cell number so we just call our order in..wait 10 minutes and head out to pick them up. Always nice hot and ready. Prices are reasonable and he always has people lined up to buy, which is always a good sign. So far everything we have ordered ha been made to order, fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend!“
“Had a lovely and yummy lunch, was craving something crunchy and got the potato and cheese flautas, tastes almost like home! Hubby order the steak and eggs and wowsers his steak was huge and cooked just right! Didn't realize the Chavelas were going to be huge that we had to share and at $13 for a 48 oz not bad!“
“Jardine is a fantastic Mexican restaurant! We ate inside because it was a rainy cold day. They have a beautiful large outside patio for summer days with colorful full size umbrellas at the tables to keep cool. They have very lush plants & cactus around the patio. The food is fresh and outstanding! They have specials on their menu of food offerings and drinks. The servers are professional and very good at what they do. I only marked a few items below that are my favorite. All of their food is outstanding.Parking: There is parking available for free on the street. Sometimes it is more busy than other times.“
“the food was GREAT! i had the carnitas skillet and everything was cooked perfect carnitas melt in your mouth, potatoes cooked perfect and my eggs were ACTUALLY medium like i asked. The marinated steak breakfast was perfection as well! “Went here today for the first time. I ordered the carnitas burrito and it was delicious! I was surprised to see they sold Turkish treats. I bought an order of Turkish delights and the owner even included an extra piece. Very great service. You can tell the owner really cares about his customers and the quality of his food. Great flavors! Will definitely come again!! :)“
“This is definitely a hidden gym. My brother and I went to try this place out after our church night service. They were closing down but they still took our order and still had quality customer service. I ordered 4 Birria Tacos and my brother ordered the Quesabirria taco and by far it is the best birria we had. Definitely making this my new spot for tacos and birria.“

“It's my second time eating here. Service was quick. Me and my husband had brunch here on a holiday and there were a few customers. The food we ordered were all very delicious. Their nachos I assume are made in house since it was warm when it was served and the guacamole and salsa hits the spot. I like their pina colada..you can taste a small hint of alcohol. I would come back here again to try their other food. And, the ambiance feels that you're back in Mexico with the colorful interior. Everything feels authentic in this place.“

“This place will always be my favorite! Tacos are authentic and bomb. Ceviche de Camaron super good one of the best in town. Shrimp and octopus cocktail is also one of the best. “This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's a tiny little space next to the Dominos so you have to be intentional about visiting, but I assure you that you won't want to pass this place over! Wish this place was a chain restaurant.Walking in we were greeted by the friendly cashier boy, asking us what we wanted. We took a minute because their menu was so large and it was our first time, but the ordering process was super simple. My boyfriend and I paid, grabbed his Mexican Coca-Cola, and seated ourselves.The cashier boy came over and brought two salsa bottles out with a basket of chips, free of charge! Red was very spicy, and I don't say this lightly. I'm half Mexican, okay!! My boyfriend and I both favored the green salsa. He said the chips weren't his favorite, they weren't salty enough for his liking and I found them a bit too thick and rough, but I will forgive that, especially since they were free!The food came out not even 5 chips in! Very quick service, but we also were the only ones in the restaurant. Not very busy for about 8pm on a Saturday. My chicken tacos ($3 each) were delicious, they didn't skimp on the meat, onion, OR cilantro. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and also juicy. It was very hot and fresh. Not spicy. My boyfriends burrito came out shortly after, really good as well. Very hot to the touch and you could tell the meat was just cooked!!TLDR: Great, authentic Mexican food for an affordable price. Free chips & salsa appetizer, quick service and clean tables/establishment overall! DEFINITELY stop by here if you have a taco craving!“

“Freaking amazing fish tacos! The fish was light and crisp, the veggies in it were fresh and the sauce they topped it with was creamy and delicious. It was the best fish taco I have ever had. The service was super fast and friendly. Will be back soon!“
“I stopped by here with my parents on the way down from Yosemite to Monterey last year (July 2022). The birria tacos were incredibly delicious, I still think about them till today! I looked them up this year so I could do it again with my brother and sister in law -- sad that they're closed for a bit! Hopefully they will be up and running again soon“
“The service was great. Very attentive for our large group. I expected the portions to be a bit bigger for the price but not horrible. The chips and salsa were yummy. I ordered the chile relleno and it was very good. The only things I noticed that I would recommend to change is that there were flies when you walk in, and there is a hole in the ceiling towards the front. I wasn't sure what that hole was about but it just makes the restaurant look rundown.“
“This quaint little restaurant was very inviting, even for 10:30 in the morning. I was greeted and sat immediately and only needed 2 minutes to decide that I wanted a torta when I saw they had Jarritos. I got a torta de jamón which came with French fries. The bread was very fresh and soft, but the toasted outside with mayonnaise was warm and crispy. It was filled with enough ham to warrant a to-go box, but it didn't make it home as I ate the rest in the car.“

“It's lent season...so Fridays I have to go and find my grilled fish ?. They have home made tortillas here so that is a BIG plus for me. The fish was cooked well, but the seasoning was a bit too much. On the salty side. The place was packed so we were sat in a corner...waitress forgot about us so we had to get her attention. Food is fresh, would recommend you try it.“
“I go here for Caldo de res, and imo they have the best fried breaded chicken around. Their Menudo broth is a little fattier Mama Lupitas and Fish n Chips but comes with more than just tripe which I love, and its available regularly everyday. The lady at the register is always super nice and service is always quick. Prices are very fair for what you get.“

They only accept cash....small inconvenience...it's a one man show...the owner...Antonio....was the server and went out of his way to get us what ever we needed. He actually made 3 different salsas for us till we found one we like. I ordered a chili relleno...it was perfect...just like my mom would make me. The black refried beans were also very delicious...and I never used to like them. The wife had cheese enchiladas...very tasty. And best of all?.....iced mugs for the beer!!! “Ordered two reg burritos (tripa and grilled chicken). The tripa burrito was super good. It wasn't salty and it was crispy. I definitely recommend it. If you're gonna order tripa, ask them to make it extra crispy. I like how their sauces are self served, orange spicy sauce omg sooo good. In my opinion this place is authentic Mexican food. I was gonna take a pic of my tripa burrito but I was too hungry. It was that good!!! Must try place for me and will come back again :)“
“Delicious and fresh. I discovered this place recently and noticed the workers are attentive and hard working. I like to order ahead of time, and swing by to find my food is always ready when I get there (typically 10 min or less). Their "al pastor sopes" are on point and have a variety of veggies, avocado, and fresh cheese. The consistency of the "sope" is a good balance between soft and crunchy.... totally recommend.“

“I have lived here for 3 years and this is my 1st time here after the rebrand. OMG! Their burritos are so good, big and still hot when we got home. They grill the tortilla to keep it intact because it's filled from end to end! There was a bite of chicken in almost every bite, except the ends...why is that?!? Definitely coming back for the Mexican Sushi!“

“Overall, the food was great.I had the "Camarones Costa Azul," and they were great. The wife had an asada burrito, which she enjoyed.The only thing that we were missing was spicy salsa. We ordered takeout, and they had it ready in 15 minutes. I understand that in peak hours, the waiting times would differ. It was a good dinner under 40 bucks.“

“I don't know why I have not reviewed this location prior to now there are two locations in Salinas and I do think both of them are extremely friendly hard-working fast and overall it's good quality fast food. I hate fast food as in McDonald's Burger King etc. however being Mexicana it is hard to find a place that you like and that doesn't make you feel gross after you eat it for example Taco Bell LOL(don't get me wrong I still go there too in a pinch) I couldn't believe that this location has bad reviews. But I did see someone below me say that if you are quick to write a review about bad service then you must equally provide reviews when you get treated great. As I walked up to the restaurant I was standing outside saying goodbye to my mom over the phone, one of their employees Liliana held the door open for me and again I could see her smile through the mask and it made my day. I had just left the store next-door and to say the service was not as superior. Then when I got up to the register Liliana was back at it helping people with a smile. I had a strange request however she did what she could honored it for me and overall made my dinner plans very easy. See I wanted to make some thing similar to what they provide in their tostada salad at home however I knew I wouldn't be able to get the tostada shell is crispy and amazing as the ones that they have she sold me two of them with no hesitation actually with a smile end it almost made me sad when I left her a tip and she seems surprised. We should all tip you guys this shouldn't be some thing someone has to mention service workers live off tips minimum wage is a joke especially in the state of California. Do your part you guys if you want to get service remember the days that these people are having when they're serving us our food selling us our groceries handing us our coffee at Starbucks whatever is going on just make sure you treat people right.
