The first time I got the birria torta and it was super good and then this time we just stopped in for a drink we got the micheladas and I should have remembered this but the micheladas come with two shrimps and some celery and cucumber it's like a full-on meal there and the manager let me taste some of the goat they make there it's super good 👍🏼“

Ordered the Steak Ranchero's with eggs, food was great and came with handmade corn tortillas. Great seasoning and salsa is good and spicy. Reasonably priced with big portions.

“The best of Gilroy ! The food is so good but we are always greeted in such a friendly manner . The family owned restaurant makes you feel at home with Carmen or Patricia (usually) greeting you and they are all so very friendly. The atmosphere is fun and festive with a tree that stays up all year long decorated by Carmen for every Holiday !

“Best kept secret in California...and I don't say that lightly! WOW, the food is good! If you like shrimp and bacon...try the Camerones Momia. Of course that dish is rather rich...so consider getting a Tostadas de Cameron's Pescado o Pulpo to go with it...AMAZINGLY fresh and bursting with flavor! This place is EXACTLY why you need to adventure and try new places. Just wish I had found it sooner...and/or it was closer to Ohio.“

“Great tacos and burritos for a great price! This is not a fancy place but it isn't trying to be. It's a great, down to earth local mexican restaurant. If you want something different, get the elote (corn) as a tasty side! The burritos are generously sized and well worth the price. Definitely recommend!“

“I was traveling with my mom, visiting family, and we happened upon this food truck while grabbing a quick cup of coffee before hitting the road. The truck was parked next to the coffee shop, and we thought that maybe it would be wise to eat because the food looked so delicious. Brandon, the owner, was so helpful and friendly in helping us pick out the perfect dish. Let me tell you, this decision did not disappoint and the food was top notch extraordinary and so worth the stop. I highly, highly recommend making the stop as well. “El Michoacano Restaurant truly impressed me with its generous portions and flavorful dishes. The seafood and meats are delicious, and the servings are big enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite.

The shrimp burrito ahumado (wet) is seasoned to perfection, with shrimp cooked just right, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The carne asada burrito is massive, and every bite fills your entire mouth. Fair warning: it requires plenty of jaw action, but it is absolutely worth it. Yum.

When I cannot decide what to order, the two item combo with a chicken enchilada and crunchy beef taco hits the spot every time. The beans taste just like Nana used to make: refried, creamy, perfectly salted, and seasoned with all the right spices. The rice is juicy, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with everything on the plate.

Overall, I left with that pleasantly plump and satisfied feeling after a great meal. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxed and enjoyable conversation. A wonderful spot I am excited to return to to try their monster drink cocktail menu and more seafood.“

“The Ahi Poke Bowl I had was one of the best I have ever had, so delicious! I highly recommend trying it. The atmosphere was okay, nothing bad nor amazing stood out. The server was pleasant just not as attentive as we would have appreciated. The server took quite a while to take our order, we had to ask for water refills, ask for the check, among a couple of other small things. All of our dishes were delicious though, so I would go there again to see if the service was bumped up.“

I suggest you have wipies with you to wipe down the table before and after you eat. FYI it's always windy so be ready to fight nature for your food LOL!“

One of the reasons is the chicken is smoked and juicy. But more than that, it’s the evenness of it all. The balance of creama to beans isn’t drippy, the tomatoes in the pico are perfectly ripe, the freckled tortillas aren’t overly thick or thin, it’s the cheese spreads evenly across the interior like the perfect amount of butter on toast, the onions are cut to the perfect diameter. The ingredients are across the board, fresh, considered, and proportionately perfect. I think about this burrito all the time.“
