“Omg. Delicious! The complimentary soup they give you when you sit down is so yummy. Loved the Micheladas. The shrimp on it were bomb! Spicy but very tasty. The entrees we shared had 3 prices, Red. White and Green. They were all cooked perfect. Really enjoyed this place. I'll need to come back with all the family. Must try. We visited the restaurant around 2:30pm to 4:30pm.“

The first time I got the birria torta and it was super good and then this time we just stopped in for a drink we got the micheladas and I should have remembered this but the micheladas come with two shrimps and some celery and cucumber it's like a full-on meal there and the manager let me taste some of the goat they make there it's super good 👍🏼“

“I may not know Mexican cuisine, but I know when food is good. And damn, the food is good here. Everything tasted like some old grandma invited you over for a fiesta and she personally cooked everything herself. We ordered the beef and veggie soup for our children. I couldn't stop stealing it for myself! It reminded us of this one Cantonese soup with pork bone, carrots, and radish. This one used beef rib, kinda like galbi tang. The meat was so moist. Then came the tacos, enchilada, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was huge and bursting with flavor, although slightly overseasoned (read: salty) for our preference. Even the rice was noteworthy. You can see the leftover tomato skin -- it's not just tomato paste like some restaurant use to cut corners. We even enjoued their Pico de Gallo and salsas. They reshly prepare their corn tortillas. I could eat those every day! The best part of the meal was the gal working as hostess, waitress, and server. She made us feel so welcome, patiently answered all of our questions, catered to our every need (we're a family with young kids), and checked on us several times. She even get us an extra order of rice which our kids devoured -- for free!“

The family owned restaurant makes you feel at home with Carmen or Patricia (usually) greeting you and they are all so very friendly. The atmosphere is fun and festive with a tree that stays up all year long decorated by Carmen for every Holiday !

“Great tacos and burritos for a great price! This is not a fancy place but it isn't trying to be. It's a great, down to earth local mexican restaurant. If you want something different, get the elote (corn) as a tasty side! The burritos are generously sized and well worth the price. Definitely recommend!“

Of course that dish is rather rich...so consider getting a Tostadas de Cameron's Pescado o Pulpo to go with it...AMAZINGLY fresh and bursting with flavor! “The Ahi Poke Bowl I had was one of the best I have ever had, so delicious! I highly recommend trying it. The atmosphere was okay, nothing bad nor amazing stood out. The server was pleasant just not as attentive as we would have appreciated. The server took quite a while to take our order, we had to ask for water refills, ask for the check, among a couple of other small things. All of our dishes were delicious though, so I would go there again to see if the service was bumped up.“

“I was traveling with my mom, visiting family, and we happened upon this food truck while grabbing a quick cup of coffee before hitting the road. The truck was parked next to the coffee shop, and we thought that maybe it would be wise to eat because the food looked so delicious. Brandon, the owner, was so helpful and friendly in helping us pick out the perfect dish. Let me tell you, this decision did not disappoint and the food was top notch extraordinary and so worth the stop. I highly, highly recommend making the stop as well. “We were passing through Gilroy and decided to stop at this restaurant because they were dog friendly and we were so pleased with our experience. We had the Terra de Mariscos and two quesabirria tacos and it was SO GOOD! They had a live mariachi band playing at a perfect volume to be able to listen and have a conversation. The place had a fun atmosphere and the food and drink menus had so many cool things…we wish we could’ve tried it all!“

“We stopped here on my way home from Santa Cruz. The Super Burrito de birria con todo is massive and delicious! The torta de carnitas con todo is huge and so good!! Will return. I suggest you have wipies with you to wipe down the table before and after you eat. FYI it's always windy so be ready to fight nature for your food LOL!“

One of the reasons is the chicken is smoked and juicy. But more than that, it’s the evenness of it all. The balance of creama to beans isn’t drippy, the tomatoes in the pico are perfectly ripe, the freckled tortillas aren’t overly thick or thin, it’s the cheese spreads evenly across the interior like the perfect amount of butter on toast, the onions are cut to the perfect diameter. The ingredients are across the board, fresh, considered, and proportionately perfect. I think about this burrito all the time.“
