I’ve tried many burritos in Salinas, but this place is one of my favorites.
Delicious and fresh. I discovered this place recently and noticed the workers are attentive and hard working. I like to order ahead of time, and swing by to find my food is always ready when I get there (typically 10 min or less). Their "al pastor sopes" are on point and have a variety of veggies, avocado, and fresh cheese. The consistency of the "sope" is a good balance between soft and crunchy.... totally recommend.

Comida Economica offers a mixed dining experience. The food quality can be inconsistent, with some dishes being delicious and others greasy. The pricing is not always transparent, and the flavor of the hot sauce/salsa is underwhelming. However, the restaurant serves a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, including Sopes, Quesadillas, Tacos, Burritos, Birria, and Quesabirria Tacos, which some customers find to be a consistent highlight. The attentive staff and quick service make it a convenient lunch spot for those in a hurry.
