“Great food and terrific pricing for these times! This is a special Taqueria truck that is parked consistently at Fourth Street and San Jose St. in San Juan Bautista. Good selection of items; my favorites are their burrito made with chili verde or their yummy tacos with choice of meat. As of now (12/2024),Taco Tuesday’s price is $1.50/taco (also 3-9 pm on Thursdays.)

“I had the pleasure of visiting this shop today on our school field trip to the mission, I appreciated they had little snack rack for $1 so our kiddos could all get a little treat and some refreshing ice cold water, along with little games and coloring table. What a great store!“

“I had the chicken noodle soup and my friend had a curry noodle soup. Both were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. Shrimp spring rolls were ginormous. Came in last night in the place was packed, no seats, left and had Mexican food. Tonight, one table free, and I enjoyed my dinner.“

“This is the best neighborhood bar you could ask for. The drinks are strong and delicious. Their selection is not huge but absolutely enough! Then there's all the fun/interesting/useful/cute things that fill up the rest of the shop!! You could easily find a perfect gift for almost anyone at this shop. Take your time and enjoy the welcoming and loving interior. Then when you've shopped to your heart's content pick your drink of choice to the back patio for a place to drink in peace with air to breathe. “Great little bakery. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. I was impressed with many of the pastries, to be honest i wasn’t expecting much from a little place in Prunedale. The best things are the croissants, the concha was also delicious and soft.

I got 2 cookies and they are not my favorite. My constructive feedback is they are a bit on the dry side and have a strong taste of leavening agents. I’ll come back when I am visiting family for sure!“

“Funky little diner, second time we stopped here for a very late breakfast. Service is very homey, mom taking orders (helps if you speak some Spanish) and son running the show (no language barriers there). Ingredients are standard, gluten free is not a thing here but she got a fantastic lettuce wrap for her burger so it's all good. My corned beef hash was home made, not out of the can, and the potatoes are proper crispy. This one stays on our recommendation list for a super casual experience.“

“First time at this place. Very welcoming atmosphere. Clean and open. We were helped right away. The food came fairly quickly and it was delicious. I had a bento box with sashimi and shrimp and vegetable tempura. The waitress was very efficient and easy to talk with. Overall a great experience and I will definitely come back.“

“Second time going here. It’s the employees who make it a good place to be. We don’t live here or else we would go here often. Isabel, our waitress was suuuuper friendly. She tended to my wife and baby girl for her 2nd birthday. She made it special. She even put our leftovers in separate containers, cleaned up before and after and during our meal, brought chocolates. And even a complimentary cake to surprise our daughter. Isabel- we mean this. Thank you so much. You are an amazing person and waitress. OG is lucky to have you. Highly recommend!!! Blessings“

“We enjoyed dinner at Grillin & Chillin Alehouse. We started with sharing a pretzel. It was ok. The bread was fresh and soft, however the portion wasn't large. The mustard was tasty, the cheese wasn't great. For mains, I had a veggie calzone and my husband had a bacon avocado burger. The calzone was better than I expected. It had a lot of cheese and a good amount of veggies. There was a nice amount of spinach, which I think was put in uncooked and softened with the heat inside. My husband thought the burger was very good. He said the beef was high quality. There was a lot of avocado which was actually guacamole. They have lots of TV screens with different games.“
