I was fortunate to take part in a harvest for the first time and loved every aspect of it. The venue is amazing and those who work there are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. “Leider war unser Besuch alles andere als angenehm. Wir hatten einen Platz im Schatten reserviert. Kamen an und bekamen erst mal eine Platz direkt in der Sonne zugeteilt. Wir dachten uns, naja, hilft ja nichts. Dann ging das Warten los. Wir saßen 25 Minuten in der prallen Sonne, ohne auch nur beachtet zu werden. Nach uns kommende Gäste wieder bedient, wir hatten weder Schatten noch Getränke. Irgendwann wurde ein Schattenplatz frei. Den schnappten wir uns dann. Und nach insgesamt 35 Minuten konnten wir auch endlich unsere Getränke bestellen (kurzzeitig waren wir schon am Überlegen lieber zum goldenen M zu fahren) Wir bestellten als zeitgleich Getränke und essen. Essen kam dann auch. Nur leider hatten wir kein Bedteck. Also wieder warten. Nach dem wir leicht angsäuert waren, genossen wir aber das leckere Essen. Die restlichen Pizza gaben wir der Bedienung zum einpacken. Wir bezahlten und warteten wieder - auf die eingepackte Pizza. Irgendwann ging mein Mann nach oben zur Theke, wo die Bedienung stand und Besteck abtrocknen. Auf unsere Frage wo denn die Pizza sei, "oh die hab ich ganz vergessen, da drüben steht sie" Naja ist halt alles andre als gut gelaufen an diesem Tag. Aber das Essen war wirklich lecker.“

“Wine was great! They are open on the weekends if i read that right, somebody celebrated birthday when we were there, there was dancing happening, and singing. The bathroom is clean. It was fun overall! We came from the gilroy garlic town so it was a good stop.“

“Great beer choices and friendly staff. From the pictures, it looks like it might be more popular on weekends. We came on a weeknight, and there were not as many people. We found the furniture to be uncomfortable (metal high chairs with no back, and an unusually tall table with regular wooden chairs around it- it was awkward to sit at). It felt pretty bare, as far as decor and ambiance go.

But we DID like the beer! (They are on the Untappd app!)

You can walk down the street 1 block to Promised Land Brewery from here. That one has equally good beers and more ambiance (& comfortable chairs), but is much smaller.“

“The Ahi Poke Bowl I had was one of the best I have ever had, so delicious! I highly recommend trying it. The atmosphere was okay, nothing bad nor amazing stood out. The server was pleasant just not as attentive as we would have appreciated. The server took quite a while to take our order, we had to ask for water refills, ask for the check, among a couple of other small things. All of our dishes were delicious though, so I would go there again to see if the service was bumped up.“

“We contacted La Hacienda to inquire about their banquet room for a reservation of 100 people. Brandon is banquet coordinator. He was extremely responsive and helpful in planning the event. For the buffet, you are able to choose 3 entrees. We choose beef fajitas, chili verde and chicken enchiladas. There were also many other options we could have picked. The banquet room is private and upstairs. There is also an elevator. During the event, each guest went through the buffet line and got a delicious salad, rice, beans, all 3 entrees (if they wanted) and tortillas. There were also chips and salsa on the tables. 3 types of sodas were includes in pitchers and a large water caraf was set out. In the banquet room there is also bathroom just for banquet guests. Servers come and take drink orders. Guests are allowed to return to the buffet for seconds. It was a wonderful, easy experience. The food was absolutely fantastic. The service was great. I truly thankful I chose this restaurant for my event.“

“I’m so glad they opened a branch in Gilroy. The food is flavorful without being greasy, which I really appreciate. Some Chinese food can feel heavy or leave an oily aftertaste, but that definitely wasn’t the case here.

We ordered the Mongolian beef, which was delicious with a rich, smoky flavor. The salted fish fried rice was also very good. I think adding a little more salted fish would make the flavor stand out even more and take it to the next level.

We also tried the vegetable chop suey and the salt and pepper pork tenderloin, and both dishes were excellent. The staff were amazing as well, especially Bill, who never failed to check on us and ask if we needed anything throughout our meal.

Overall, it was a great experience. I hope more people support this restaurant so they can continue to grow and stay in business.“

“I love this place. Crust is always on point and a basic cheese will make you question why you're adding so many toppings. And that's my complaint. Got the combo many times but this time I added ricotta. Expected some dollops. No, they squirt it on as a post bake topping. Fresh from the oven it might be okay but a 5-10 minute drive turns it into a coagulated yuck.
