“Location, location, location! We stopped here solely because we smelled the delicious food as our boat came in from our whale watching trip across the harbor.
We walked in around 3pm, were seated along the bar overlooking the harbor with a great view. Unfortunately the staff either forgot about us or didn't realize we were in someone's assigned section because we ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for someone to come over to take our order. I tried turning around to make eye contact with the staff, but they were hard at work and I didn't want to interrupt them as they were almost always speaking to other customers. We watched several tables who were seated after us get their order taken, so I started to get nervous knowing they closed at 4pm.
Right before we were about to leave a friendly staff member approached us to ask if we had been helped. We ordered everything at once to be efficient with time - my husband and I split the clam chowder, fish and chips, and a side order of sourdough bread. We received our food around 3:50pm and we were so excited to get our food.
Ultimately I am glad we ended up waiting, the food was delicious and hit the spot after a busy day. I would say if you are on a time crunch, don't stop here. We will definitely come back, we'll just budget for more time!“

“Great selection of beers and ciders on tap AND beer cans (singles and 4 packs). My burger was delicious, and the fries were very fresh, I originally came to the hangar to try Mr. Z's boba next door but needed a real lunch by the time I arrived. Beer Mule servers were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable! I tried some cool sours on tap (tropical hawaiian passionfruit, blueberry marshmellow, and a beer that tasted like a margarita), and they have loads of other types of beers on tap listed above the register. They carry Fruli strawberry beer on tap that I love, but I made it a point to try their other stuff. Definitely a great place to hang or meet up with people, or to treat yourself during the week.“

“Ive been coming here for years. Ive moved out of salinas 20 years ago and I still drive 40 minutes when I crave Chinese food. Ive tried other places closer to home but they lack what this location provides. Food is always fresh Always delicious and they have never skimp on portions. Its a family own business and they are always kind.“

“Decem and QQ gave us the BEST service we have EVER received. No exaggeration. They provided our group with such a wonderful experience and ALL of our food was amazing. We had chow mein, wings, Mongolian beef, sweet & sour chicken, rice, wor wonton soup, ginger tea, and the sesame seed dessert balls (I don’t remember what they were called). Above all, they treated us like family. We will absolutely be having more family dinners here. If you are reading reviews to see where you should go to eat this is THE place to go. P.S. “Expensive, but DAMN GOOD! The pho I ordered was incredibly tasty where I could taste all the delicate flavors of the broth and plenty of rice noodles and beef. Even on its own without anything added at first before adding a bit of sriracha I was immensely impressed with the finished product. The atmosphere itself was nice and clean and the service was fast and of high quality. If you are ever in South Santa Cruz County and want some delicious pho I HIGHLY recommend going here to eat!“

“Great little bakery. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. I was impressed with many of the pastries, to be honest i wasn’t expecting much from a little place in Prunedale. The best things are the croissants, the concha was also delicious and soft.

I got 2 cookies and they are not my favorite. My constructive feedback is they are a bit on the dry side and have a strong taste of leavening agents. I’ll come back when I am visiting family for sure!“

“This is hands down the best cider I've ever had. It's just right on the dry-sweet scale, veering towards the dry end. Their varieties are unique and they have seasonal favorites as well as specialty ciders that only have a short run. I find them satisfying and easy on my body. The owners are truly good humans with the kindest hearts. They host a lot of fundraisers here for local community charities and causes. They really care about their local and greater communities, and put actions behind their values. I've found the people I've met and the whole vibe to be uplifting, warm, playful, and easy going. “This place has been doing it for years.. Theres something to be said about that, it just works...I ordered 3 hotdogs with everything along with a Dr Pepper and just like that the service was so quick and the dogs were ready. Solid hotdogs that are just good and satisfying. Nothing special, just simple chili dogs, with onion, mustard and relish. Honestly, I prefer these over the chain restaurant. This place is a Watsonville landmark and if you happen to be in the area this is a must stop. Id say its your working man's meal on the fly. Your going to want more than 1. Cheers !“
