“What a beautiful oasis right on the road! The coffee is fantastic, and the pastries look incredibly tempting (didn't order any, sticking to my keto diet?). The space itself is so inviting, with every detail showing the care and love put into it. I absolutely love it!“
“We come here occasionally for a drink and some light food. The staff is always fantastic and the views are very nice. It’s still relatively unknown and usually quiet, kind of a local secret. All in all a great place for a drink and a bite“
“What a wonderful restaurant with great funky vibes and charming waitstaff and owner. We are tourists from Montana who have stopped by every chance we get over the last ten years. The food is exceptional with luscious sauces and inventive cuisine. The best of the best! Dare to try something unique and exquisite. You'll be happy you did!“
“Super friendly, cozy little family café. Really good lunches and breakfasts, staff is a father, daughter and son-in-law, all care about the place the food, and the customers. They treat everyone like family. The day I was there they were playing Christian rock the whole time, but somehow with the amount of love and kindness exhibited by the Cafe community, that it was not really my thing didn't bother me at all. It was still happy and friendly music. Good coffee, good food, clean restrooms, good wifi, excellent care of people.“
“Phenomenal coffee shop! The people working here were so kind and helpful! The coffee was equally as incredible! The aesthetic inside was also adorable. Our favorite drink was the golden hour if anyone needs a suggestion :) We were visiting from out of town and definitely would return here if ever back in Northern Cali! Highly recommend!“
“Service was great (friendly bartender and waiter... At least ours was; the waitress at the table next to us had a face like she just caught her boyfriend sleeping with her best friend... That or she hated her job, but our waiter was cool, calm, and helpful. Food was above average with great seasoning and flavor, and the drinks were good, but pricey for the size drink. Looks like a good, quiet place to go on a date (romantic, soft music, space between tables to say sexy things to each other without worrying about the table next to you listening in), but not the best place to hang out with friends unless you don't care everyone staring at you laughing like you were at an Improv Comedy Show but no one else thought the joke was funny. Still, I do recommend this place and would go back on a date.“
“This place is small but the food and the customer service were phenomenal. Great first impression with everything. If we do go back to monterey , you best believe we will be back to Keiki's. We would have gone again but they are closed on weekends. At least the weekend we were there.“
“My friends and I were headed to a different Chinese restaurant in Marina, but saw Ho-Wah and entered it. Boy were we glad! We were greeted, told what are the specials and delighted to note that the chef is popular for his vegan cuisine. We had egg rolls busting with veggies and crisp edamames for appetizers. The stir fried asparagus was out of the world! Garlic eggplant was perfectly flavored. The Hong Kong noodles were pan fried and we didn't feel guilty eating it. The sesame bun dessert was out of this world good!!! The owner was very friendly and food was made fresh and served fast. Other notable thing was the cleanliness of the bathroom being exceptionally clean. Highly recommend this gem in Marina!“
“What a great laid back venue, with both inside and patio seating. The beers are excellent, and the appetizers are exceptional! Owned by a local, give this place a go before shopping at Staff of Life next door. Check out their special events as well.“
“Great selection of beers, good food. Ordered the vegetarian meatloaf with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Good flavors. Nice outdoor seating. Service a bit slow considering it was not very busy, but maybe it's new Year's day slowness ?.I'd definitely be back!“
“Seafood restaurant in Watsonville open relatively late with great serviceRaw oysters ⭐️⭐️: personally not a big fan of the huge oysters because the fishy taste is extra strong. Also these oysters had a lot of grit in them.Clam chowder ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: pretty solid clam chowder. Had a good clam taste while being rich but not too heavy.Clam pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️: felt like even though there were a lot of clams in the pasta the flavor didn't really come out. Pasta texture was good.Mango mousse cake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: the best thing here and one of the better mango mousses I've had. Surprised at how good it was considering this is a seafood restaurant.“
“Came in on a whim while visiting the area. The Mediterranean pasta is a must! Huge chunks of crab and absolutely delicious! Husband had the shrimp and chips which was just as fantastic. Huge portion sizes and everyone was super friendly! Would definitely visit again.“
“Love it, so yummy! Went here a bunch when we first moved to this side of town, then got a little burnt out. Been going again for the last few months, and really happy with it. The La Mañana with spinach and basil is great. I like to add House Spread (flavored mayo?), and sweet jalapeños. The Patch Burrito, Morning Wrap (similar but more veggies), and Hot Messy Pastrami are all great. My mom loves the turkey and avocado sandwich. The Deviled Eggs are on point, great value. (it's just a single half, but it's piled high with filling!)The drinks are legit, too. Sometimes I'll get a banana bread slice for dessert. ?“
“This is definitely the greatest place to watch a sports event. More TV's ThenAny other pizza parlor. the best pizza in wings in town.Parking: Lots and lots of parking.Kid-friendliness: Give the kids a handful of quarters. They'll be entertained with the quarter machines.“
“This is my favorite place to be on a weekend afternoon! The owners are absolutely the best! The rest of the staff is outstanding. When anyone comes to visit this is the place to take them to. They are family and pet friendly. They bring in different food vendors that are also fantastic! The cider is great! Get a flight if it's your first time. My personal favorites are Don't make me Blush or a cider pop on a warm day. During the winter they have hot cider too!“
“Moistest Beer! Service was excellent! The ambiance is inviting and familiar. It felt like having a beer in the garage with your friends after a long day. The beer is absolutely amazing! I'd recommend the "Hasta La Vista" west coast dipa. I will be back to support these awesome people and brag about their beers to anyone who can hear! Thanks Slough!“
“Came here while visiting the area and sat I. The patio. It was obviously a locals spot since every customer that came thru the door got a cheery "hello" (insert name) and a hug. The bartender who acted like an owner, not sure if she was, was super friendly and cordial. She was grateful for us coming into the bar from the outside patio to grab beers and menus. We ordered the vegetable sandwich and a tuna sandwich. The contents were good it's just that the bread was way too big and it prevented us from really enjoying our lunch. We ended up taking out the insides and eating it with a fork and a small piece of bread we would tear away. Everyone was super friendly, several dogs in patio area. They also had a large tv outside to enjoy a game on a Sunday afternoon. Really enjoyed the place and will return since we will be in Monterey several times a year. We saw the salads come out and w e both decided they looked great and will be our next choice.“
“I've been there a few times on Fridays when they have open mic night. This is my favorite spot in downtown to experience this. The vibe includes all whom are friendly. I've also visited during the week to grab a coffee. Always quick and easy. Only thing I would suggest is adding Green Tea Matcha - lattes the menu.“
“We just stumbled on this ice cream shop tonight. What a cute place with outside seating and amazing ice cream. We tried Horchata, Abuelito, and a chocolate/strawberry flavor. Absolutely delicious. We plan on returning to try others. The kids can't wait to try the fruity pebble ice cream bars. This is a unique and special place.“
“Been here a couple times with friends and family. Oscar, the owner, again has made us feel very welcomed and cared for. It's a cozy place to head over after dinner and the overall atmosphere of the place is chill. Great selection of beers and wine.“
“They were delicious!! For a minute there ,there was a slight change. We went ahead and gave it another try because we are regulars and have been going here for years! So the recipe is right on like it was before. I'm so glad cuz I love the Chile dogs here! If you are in the area, stop on by. You will not be disappointed at all!!!Thanks guys! ?☺️“
“Great professional business. From the office to the owner - staff is kind, friendly, professional, helpful and efficient! Quick response time and thorough estimate provided. Wonderful experience here, I will definitely return! Elias the manager is fantastic!! Cute atmosphere in the lobby with coffee, a nice tv and a comfy couch.“
“Recently signed up for the subscription. We wanted to try something local and fresh . These meals are delicious! They are fresh and healthy . Saves me so much time in meal planning and shopping. We now have time to get more done during the day . There's only one of two meals we've tried that we didn't care for (chicken Parmesan and the protein pancakes ) but all the rest , especially their Mexican food items and blackened chicken , are delicious! So happy we discovered MaxFit meals !“
“This is probably my favorite coffee in Watsonville hands down! The coffee is really rich, and I really appreciate that. I guess if you prefer more watered down coffee than any other location in Watsonville would be fine. This environment is comfortable and cozy unlike another pretentious coffee shop in town. The staff are always really friendly, and it does get busy during rush hours. I really enjoy the breakfast options specifically because I like egggs a lot. I would categorize this coffee spot as a good pit stop on a roadtrip or you need to run errands and need energy coffee shop. Highly recommend.“
“It's a quintessential breakfast/lunch experience. The dishes are consistent and fresh with good portions .And the coffee is just fine. Service was attentive and friendly. I miss real cream pitchers for my coffee on the table tho. Times are changing.“
“We are not from around the area, but found Perfectly Pressed on google. After a weekend of indulging in a lot of great food in Monterey, I wanted something healthy and refreshing. The options here were great and the pricing is fair for what you get. The service was wonderful as well and the lady that helped us was friendly and attentive. I got the purple haze smoothie and I’ll be dreaming of it until I get to have it again. YUM!“
“You can find great quality sushi at this little spot in East Lake Shopping Center. They also have a solid selection of vegetarian options. I hade the Sushi Qu "light" combo which comes with a roll, 5 nigiri, soup, and salad. Really good!“
“Came here on the recommendation of our neighbors since they work nearby and we were in the area. I liked their sandwiche- Cali BLT. Also liked the pepper jelly, have never tried that before. LOVED the chips! Service was great! Our server was cheerful and can be pleasantly chatty (not with us but that's ok; I wasn't in a chatty mood). This place gives me some kind of a 70s feel with Bee Gees playing as I type this.“
“Conveniently located right on the corner of Rio Rd & Hwy 1 in the Crossroads. Mobile ordering available. Great option for studying, working remotely, meeting a friend for coffee, etc. due to the large seating area & number of tables compared to most Starbucks locally.Only reason for 4 ⭐'s is that this location tends to be incredibly slow in comparison to the one I usually frequent on my way to work out on Hwy 68 near Ryan Ranch or the ones I sometimes visit on Alvarado in downtown Monterey, the one next to Home Depot in Seaside, or out in Sand City across from Target.Parking: The upside at this location compared to the other local stores is that while parking at all of the others can be pretty difficult, that's never a problem in the Crossroads whatsoever.“
“We found the starters and shared plates to be tasty and creative. One of the party had the Monterey Bay fried fish with the side of garlic fries. While good we felt the plate price of $36 for the combined was too high compared to fish and chips entrees at nearby Monterey restaurants. The lemon olive oil cake for dessert was good. Overall good food in a relaxed environment.“
“I am sold on Sea Harvest. I have been to the Monterey location before, but this was an even better experience! Service was prompt and the menu is straightforward. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a side of French fries-- expecting enough food for one, but there was closer to three servings! Great deal for the price. The chowder was savory and perfect for a chilly day. The French fries were crisp and paired perfectly with the chowder. Both the inside and outside are comfortable with a gorgeous view of the bay on one side and the flumes on the other. I've come back with friends now many times and it's still a favorite!“
