I've heard so many great things about this little place, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the 1 item teriyaki chicken lunch combo plate --I couldn't even finish it! The proportions were incredibly large. The lady up at the front was solo up there and she was killing it! A line didn't stress her out and she got everyone's orders out timely. I love how they have personal photos taken from Hawaii hanging up. Super cute place! Definitely coming back.
I was planning to drop by Jack in the box and happened to stumble upon this place! Debbie the cashier was absolutely lovely and made me feel a warm sense of community. They said they make the musibi upon ordering and it took less than 5mins. I got a total of three musubi, the rice was very generous and well cooked. It stayed warm after a whole shopping trip and the car ride back. I got full after eating just one! Really glad I spent my money at this local business instead of Jack...read full review

This place is small but the food and the customer service were phenomenal. Great first impression with everything. If we do go back to monterey , you best believe we will be back to Keiki's. We would have gone again but they are closed on weekends. At least the weekend we were there.
