The service was great and food delivered promptly. there's a small outdoor dining area tgat was very nice even though it's in a very commercial/industrial part of town. “The food at the restaurant is delicious. All servers are volunteers and proceeds go towards the maintenance of the house. Super knowledgeable docent led tours as well. I believe the schedule is posted on their website. Merchandise and books downstairs are terrific. There are several Steinbeck related souvenirs to choose from and good book selections!”

“This place is amazing, they have the best shawarmas ive ever tried in the us, and ivr lived here for 8 years. Everyone that works there is also incredibly kind. We live in marina about a 20 min drive but we still go there everytime because their food is just amazing. I love the lamb and beef shawarma, but everything ive tried there is delicious”

“My wife and I checked out this place today while our son was sleeping. Like other reviewers probably mentioned, it is hard to find. Shout out to Google maps. It seems to be a commercial kitchen on the backside / alley of the shopping center. We orded two wraps and a mango lassi. Since we didn't order ahead (recommended) we waited for 10-15 min in the car and went to collect our goods. Wow! What a delightful surprise. The chicken Tikka wrap was delicious / super flavorful. The lassi was also incredible. We haven't eaten our chicken vindaloo wrap yet as we are saving that for dinner, but 1000% will be returning. Don't let the location / entrance throw you off, this place was definitely worth the visit.

“Really good food including their fried rice, chow fun, shrimp balls, Peking duck and more. Portions are large too and as for seating, it’s ample. Service is kind and fast and the interior of the place has a lot of art and some Eastern design though can sometimes feel dirty or old. There’s also a big TV which plays a variety of content. Restrooms are okay and prices are reasonable, considering portions also.”
