About The Steinbeck House Restaurant & Event Venue

The Steinbeck House Restaurant & Event Venue is a wonderful, historic spot in John Steinbeck's fully restored boyhood home. A lovely lunch is served in this glorious Victorian house, a real step back in time. The women taking care of the home are wonderful and knowledgeable. The chef is a professional, but the staff all volunteer. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, and you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in the door. The chicken apple and Brie sandwich with soup is delicious and a good value. There is a fixed menu, plus special items presented every week. This restaurant offers excellent food amid a historic ambiance.
