This is a very picturesque location with good food as well. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the house are are sure to let you know the details of each room as you enter.We had the BLT with avocado and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Both were quite good and a perfect portion.This is a wonderful location for lunch in the childhood home of one of America’s great authors.
As always this venue does not disappointGreat food very attentive service and they are ALL volunteers.Chairs are a little hard and many people come for events so it's loud and a bit tight.

Lovely cozy little place with plenty of Steinbeck memorabilia to peruse through. The servers are all very kind (all volunteers!) My chicken wrap was yummy and the veggie broth and bread rolls were definitely homemade and delicious. It was definitely worth the lunch stop. Keep in mind they close at 2pm so arrive before 2.
