“Picked up food to go last year and it was really good. So happy that we found this place again! Ordered garlic parm and spicy fried chicken wing plates, lemongrass chicken and beef meatball pho. Also ordered strawberry and melon boba milk tea and Vietnamese coffee with egg cream. Food and drinks came out quickly. Customer service was great. It was so good that we ate and drank everything! We will definitely come here again when we’re in the area.“

“Every single time I go to this restaurant, the food is excellent! Ana is the best server! My family and extended family love, love, love everything we have tried. My current favorite is Hunan Beef. The Singapore Rice Noodles are great, eggplant, every variation of rock cod, Peking pork… They can vary any dish to your liking. The lunches are a good deal, enough food for two meals for me. However, going with my family and getting a variety of dishes is what we like the best. Usually there are six to eight of us and we get to eat all of our favorites.“

“The service is excellent. First walked in was greated with beautiful smile & seated right away. The person that attended me and took my order her name Beatriz Cardenas. Was awesome positive attitude. Introduced me to manager & brought my coffee right away. She was attentive to my order and brought everything to the T of how Ordered my food. “I’ve been to a lot of bagel shops over the years, and this place has quickly become one of my favorites. The bagels are incredibly fresh with the perfect balance of a crisp exterior and soft, chewy inside. The sandwiches are generously made, the ingredients taste fresh, and everything is prepared with care.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. The service is fast, the atmosphere is warm, and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

It’s the kind of local business that’s easy to support because they consistently deliver great food and great customer service. If you’re anywhere near Salinas and looking for breakfast or lunch, do yourself a favor and stop in—you won’t be disappointed. Easily 5 stars, and I’ll definitely be back!“

“I got the birra torta here and two tacos al pastor. The tacos were good but the torta was surprisingly delicious upon first bite due to the quality of the birria. The overall taste profile at this location is balanced and deep, meaning it is well-seasoned and flavorful without being excessive or greasy. It is food that can be eaten every day without feeling overloaded. It is also at a very nice location next to a park and lots of trees.

I randomly met the owner one day prior at an unrelated place, and I can see that there is a reason he confidently invited me to try his food, where his lovely wife operates the business and cooking! It is because he knows he can deliver a great food experience! Through word of mouth, I know that I am not the only one who liked the torta here.

There is quite an extensive menu, and I will definitely be back to try more items. I highly recommend the birria. Overall a great spot!“

“If you have children, and don't mind noise, a lot of noise, you might like Angelina's. A LOT of kids teams were also there which is nice, but when there is already excess noise, it makes it tough. It was so loud my husband and I had to lean across the table and almost shout to hear eachother. Food was ok, not good enough to make a special trip for. Service...about 80% self serve, and had to chase down someone if we ever needed anything.“

“Taking a road trip up the coast and I finally got to stop here and eat/drink after enjoying some of their beers at home. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious, service in the beer garden was great, and as always the beer was on point. Had the Paloma Pizzazz which is good if you like grapefruit and their guest beer the Muddlin Forte was sooo good. The only negative was they were out of all their large t-shirts so I'll just have to go shopping online. Hope to be in the area again soon to try some more things.“

“Lovely experience in this restaurant. It's my first time having Pecking Duck in CA and it's the best. The first time I had this beautiful dish was in Texas and I thought I would only be able to have it there. But this place totally exceeded my expectations and matched it. The egg tarts were so flaky with the custard having a beautiful texture full of flavor and not overly sweet. Just how like desserts. If I'm ever in Salinas again, this is where I will come back to eat Chinese food. Oh and the Chinese Broccoli amazing!“
