“It is a simple restaurant with an amazing selection of food, refreshingly delicious and generous portion. This restaurant has a friendly and welcoming staff. Everything I have tried from their exquisite menu, I loved, so don’t be mistaken by the exterior appearance neither by the simplicity of their ambiance.Vegetarian options: Look through the menu and ask questions if in doubt.“
“We Have Been back here almost every week from the date of my last post. Still getting the great service and Delicious food. This place turned out to be Salinas's best kept secret for the last five years for anyone looking for the best Pho Soup.“
“Excellent papay and mango salad. Pho is good. I recommend the fried chicken wings with the papaya and mango salad. Thai tea is on point, boba is cooked perfectly, with a strong Thai tea flavor, plus they use premium boba cups. Service is excellent, fast and friendly. Ambiance is nice, not fancy, just a good chill and clean place to eat some great food.“
“The BBQ Pork Sandwich at Chopstix was a flavorful delight, and adding an egg was a great choice. The thinly sliced carrots and daikon, cucumbers, fresh cilantro, and mayo on the baguette bread were a perfect combination with the tender and tasty pork. It made for a delicious and satisfying sandwich.“
“Tasty and satisfying! Was recommended the beef brisket and that's what I recommended for you lolQuick, friendly service. Will be coming back for sure! Also, I ordered the pot stickers, super yummy!Thank you!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has 3 choices“
“The food was pretty good. I ordered takeout. Was very impressed with how well packaged the food was. Thai tea and shrimp spring rolls were excellent. The pad thai noodles were average, but still good. My sister loved the vegan options.Vegetarian options: We ate there several days because they had the best vegetarian options in the area“
“Their shrimp chow fun and shrimp pho are out of this world!! I also get their QQ black sugar crema and Hawaiian Fruit boba drinks. The black sugar is nice and rich but not too sweet, the hawaiian fruit is refreshing- tastes like passionfruit, star fruit and orange mixed together. The servers are nice and knowledgeable about the menu too. Pricing isn't too bad either!“
“In my opinion this is the best Pho on the peninsula ( it’s all about the broth!). There are 15 different Pho dishes, including a vegetarian option. The summer spring rolls are delicious and there is a wide range of noodle and rice dishes as well. They don’t rush you out, even when they are busy. It’s in a very old shopping center/ strip mall and you might not stop here unless someone told you about it. Well I am telling you, you should make a point to stop in for a meal.“
“Delicious Vietnamese food! Marina has a LOT of these "hole in the wall" gems of Asian food restaurants. Only down part is the very limited seating that is available...had to wait 30 minutes to be seated...at least service was attentative and the food came out FAST and HOT ? Great tasting also ?“
“I ordered the Pho Doc Biet and a hot tea, and I’m a very happy boy :) It was as good as my favorite pho in LA/OC. Great broth — clean and flavorful, not too salty, and not sweet. Good meats and tripe. The tendon was especially note worthy and plentiful! As a tea lover I was grateful for the second tea bag, which made for a delicious strong pot of tea.The staff is super friendly. It’s a nice family business. There is a reason this place a dedicated customer base. Apparently they were operating in Gilroy, closed for some time and then reopened in Salinas. It was the jubilation in the reviews about the reopening that got my attention.Thank you for the delicious meal! I’ll definitely come back here the next time I’m in Salinas.“
