“This is a hidden jem. A must try. The food was absolutely incredibly delicious! We had the Bouillanese, the Shrimp pasta special and the Apple dessert. Will be back again to try everything else on the menu. The food looked so good I forgot to take a picture to share. This Pic was our view from our seats. Highly recommend. Give them some love.“

“Had the Castroville Scramble (3 eggs, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, onions, with home fried potatoes and Rye toast) and it was VERY VERY good! The service was great and food delivered promptly. there's a small outdoor dining area tgat was very nice even though it's in a very commercial/industrial part of town. A very pleasant dining surprise for hungry travellers!“

“I heard about India Gourmet in Nextdoor and saw their stand at the Watsonville Farmer's Market. My wife and I tried their food and all the positive feedbacks on Nextdoor were spot on!! The Butter Chicken and Masala are Delicious and im definitely going back for more. No more long drives to the South Bay nor Santa Cruz for great Indain Food!“

“I recently tried Kong’s Burger and really liked it. While many burger places are delicious, they often taste quite similar. Kong’s Burger stood out with a more distinct flavor, and the slightly crispy bun (maybe intentional, maybe a bit overcooked) added a nice texture that made the burger more memorable.“

“Decem and QQ gave us the BEST service we have EVER received. No exaggeration. They provided our group with such a wonderful experience and ALL of our food was amazing. We had chow mein, wings, Mongolian beef, sweet & sour chicken, rice, wor wonton soup, ginger tea, and the sesame seed dessert balls (I don’t remember what they were called). Above all, they treated us like family. We will absolutely be having more family dinners here. If you are reading reviews to see where you should go to eat this is THE place to go. P.S. You must try the chicken wings!“

“Picked up food to go last year and it was really good. So happy that we found this place again! Ordered garlic parm and spicy fried chicken wing plates, lemongrass chicken and beef meatball pho. Also ordered strawberry and melon boba milk tea and Vietnamese coffee with egg cream. Food and drinks came out quickly. Customer service was great. It was so good that we ate and drank everything! We will definitely come here again when we’re in the area.“

“Delicious, authentic Thai food—perfect every time. I recently discovered this place and it’s now my favorite Thai spot. Service is quick and friendly, food is flavorful and tasty with large portions at a reasonable price. I’m partial to curries, the pumpkin curry is outstanding but I’ve tried and loved them all. The ginger chicken soup is phenomenal as well. Highly recommend!“

“First time at New Korea Restaurant and I was genuinely impressed.
It’s a small, hidden spot in a quiet residential neighborhood. Not loud or trendy — just calm and comfortable. Most of the customers seemed like locals, and you can tell many of them are regulars.
The restaurant is very clean, which immediately made us feel at ease. The elderly server was incredibly kind and attentive. The side dishes were refilled quickly without us even having to ask. The soup was delicious and arrived still boiling at the table — those little details really make a difference.
There’s a real Korean home-style cooking feeling here. It’s not fancy, but every bite feels warm, comforting, and satisfying — the kind of food that makes you feel taken care of.
At the end, they even gave us complimentary small drinks, which was such a sweet touch.
Definitely a humble, hidden gem that deserves more love. We’ll be back.“

The overall experience was excellent, characterized by a pleasant atmosphere and exceptionally prompt service.

* Atmosphere: The vibe was great. The music selection was enjoyable, and the restaurant was comfortably busy—not overly packed.
* Service Speed: I was seated immediately, and the service was genuinely outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive; I received my requests within literally 30 seconds. This level of efficiency, while warranting a generous tip, significantly enhanced the dining experience.
☕ Drinks & Appetizers
* Cinnamon Coffee: A highly recommended start! It was very good, featuring noticeable and pleasant hints of cinnamon.
* Onion Rings: A definite 10 out of 10. They were fantastic both plain and, even better, when paired with the ranch dressing.
* Specialty Salsa: This sauce, which we asked for on the side, was super delicious and packed with flavor. While it had a slight kick (a bit spicy for my personal taste), it was excellent overall. It truly elevated the burger.

Eggs Benedict
This dish was quite good overall, though a couple of preparation issues were noted:
* Taste: Very good, particularly the hollandaise sauce, which was nicely seasoned.
* Hash Browns: Nice and crispy. They needed just a touch more salt when eaten plain but were perfect with a side of ketchup.
* Poached Egg: The yolk was runny, which is ideal, but the egg preparation was flawed. I observed some water leakage, and parts of the egg white were undercooked, suggesting the egg was taken out of the water too soon.
* Plating: The presentation was a bit bland. Adding a simple garnish, like chives over the hollandaise sauce, would significantly improve its visual appeal.
House Special Burger
A very enjoyable main course:
* Flavor & Texture: The burger had very good flavor and was wonderfully juicy.
* Minor Note: The only element missing was an onion, which would have completed the profile.
* Serving Suggestion: Pairing this burger with the flavorful specialty salsa made it absolutely excellent.
In summary, despite minor issues with the poached egg and plating, the quick service, excellent atmosphere, and high-quality items like the Onion Rings and House Special Burger make this restaurant highly recommendable.“

“We are locals who come here often. The owner is wonderfully accommodating. We usually order the combination plate for 2 or more people because you get fried rice, soup, egg rolls, and cream cheese wontons. We have also tried the lunch special as well. They usually get a lot of to-go orders. We have ordered a number of things, and all are very good. Their hot and sour soup is very good.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu offered a wide variety of items I hadn’t seen before, and the orange chicken was truly unique, and my wife loved the stuffed eggplant. While the presentation could have been better, the clean, open atmosphere more than made up for it. The restrooms were spotless, and the tables were so clean you could practically eat off them. Another standout detail was that both the water and ice were filtered—a small touch that speaks volumes about quality. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back.“

“My family of 5 went there for brunch yesterday. We were seated quickly and received immediate service. We had the chicken pesto sandwich with a salad; the pancake combo, two waffle combos; and a meat lovers omelet with potatoes. We enjoyed it all! The chicken pesto sandwich was perfection! The pancakes and waffles were delicious, the bacon had good crunch, the eggs were scrambled and cooked just right! Also, they had this orange muffin that was amazing! We can't wait to go back! It was so yummy!! We all left full and satisfied.“

“I have been eating pizza here for over 30 years ever since high school. It’s cheap pizza so don’t expect some fancy cuisine. But I simply cannot live without it!

Food: was good, generous portion of noodles. I enjoyed my food and smoothie.
Price: was reasonable came out to around $70, for 3 people.

I wasn’t thrilled with my meal. I ordered a (vegan) tofu noodle dish, yet it contained egg and definitely had a fishy component. The noodles congealed which made them difficult to eat. Our grandson ordered the Penang curry and enjoyed it. My husband ordered the seafood Pad Thai and had zero leftovers.
We dined outside on the patio. While I miss the birds, I thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous mural.“
