One of the best sushi places in Santa Cruz county. We come here frequently and have never been disappointed, did is always delicious. The owner is super friendly and helpful in recommending rolls. Staff have always been friendly and attentive.

**Imura | Japanese Restaurant** is a solid sushi spot in Watsonville, offering both Japanese and Korean food. The overall food is good, with amazing flavor and great service. The sashimi is very tasty with exactly the right age and dimensions, clearly made by a sushi chef with real Japanese training. The star of the show is the tempura, with a super crispy thin coating and soft inside. The lunch special no4 allows a choice of any roll except Cali rolls, and the spicy roll has a nice umami. Prices are good, and the food is very filling—almost too much to finish, served with salad and miso soup. The atmosphere is great, though when busy there is only one waiter. For years, this has been the best sushi place in Watsonville, worth the wait.
