“We have been coming to Mezzaluna for years. Definitely our favorite Italian spot in the Monterey area. I would recommend making a reservation as the resturaunt isn’t huge and it fills up quick! “I tried something new today, the hot Turkey open face sandwich smothered in a wonderful mushroom gravy. OMG 😱 So good ! And my salad was the perfect size to complement the large portion of the hot Turkey. I added a little Tabasco cause that what I do. I thought I was finished until the little waitress offered dessert 🍨. I ordered a piece of their home made apple 🍎 pie 🎉🎊😱. People let me tell you this is a bucket lister. With out a doubt the best apple pie I have ever had. And yes they make it from scratch. Great lunch experience today ! “Susie was very good. We got three rolls and a hand roll all were excellent. We also ended up getting two rolls to go. Sushi was served in cute sushi boats. The staff was amazing. They were having issues with their electricity that night But we’re very accommodating. Service was excellent and fast.“

“Don’t let the outside fool you… it’s a charming little Italian feel inside with the sweetest hospitality (young woman with butterfly tattoo/hat was extremely caring about her job and the customers).we were going to order “to go” but it was so quaint inside we decided to stay. The best part was the food! The calzone was the perfect texture of cooked dough, thick cheese, perfect sauce and overall just melted in my mouth with goodness! Also got a fresh salad and a barbecue chicken flatbread which were just as rave worthy! It was nice to step away from the busy Cannery Row vibe to enjoy a great meal experience. “Stayed in Monterey for the weekend with hubby and we went here for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was great!! The place inside is small, so depending on the time you show up, you might have to wait for a seat. We didnt wait long because we sat outside on a beautiful gloomy day. We love the cold weather, so it was perfect for us. Our waitress let us know about that days special, which was chilaquiles, and Im glad I ordered them because they were GOOD!! My husband loved his chicken and waffle. And my favorote was their chocolate chip pancakes with caramelized bananas on top. *chefs kiss*“

“I can't begin to express the beautiful his & her cakes Patisserie Bechler made! The Princess and Carrot cakes were beautiful and delicious! The bakery also helped us when our breakfast plans fell apart. We did a last minute order of their quiches, and they were amazing! It is rare to get such quality and service on a remote order! You all are awesome!“

My son got a chicken-pesto-provolone-tomato sandwich that was fabulous and my husband's pork rigatoni was delicious as well. Garlic cheese bread was absolutely drowning in butter (in a good way).
