“Had the Castroville Scramble (3 eggs, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, onions, with home fried potatoes and Rye toast) and it was VERY VERY good! The service was great and food delivered promptly. there's a small outdoor dining area tgat was very nice even though it's in a very commercial/industrial part of town. A very pleasant dining surprise for hungry travellers!“

“Mr. And Mrs.Kong are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I discovered them when I was in middle school and I’m about to graduate. Every time I go they are pleasant and they have such amazing big energy. Sad to hear they are closing their Watsonville location, but I truly recommend this place!
They have THE BEST BURRITO ever, the breakfast burrito made with tofu and kimchi. O.M.G. I cannot explain the flavors or the sauce, this is phenomenal truly. I thank them for blessing my tastebuds every.single.time.
I love them both. :)“

“We are locals who come here often. The owner is wonderfully accommodating. We usually order the combination plate for 2 or more people because you get fried rice, soup, egg rolls, and cream cheese wontons. We have also tried the lunch special as well. They usually get a lot of to-go orders. We have ordered a number of things, and all are very good. Their hot and sour soup is very good.“

“My family of 5 went there for brunch yesterday. We were seated quickly and received immediate service. We had the chicken pesto sandwich with a salad; the pancake combo, two waffle combos; and a meat lovers omelet with potatoes. We enjoyed it all! The chicken pesto sandwich was perfection! The pancakes and waffles were delicious, the bacon had good crunch, the eggs were scrambled and cooked just right! Also, they had this orange muffin that was amazing! We can't wait to go back! It was so yummy!! We all left full and satisfied.“

“Absolutely delicious Thai food. Springrolls made fresh with flavor, the Currys wow, my kiddos love the chicken on a stick, pineapple fried rice full of flavor, the duck flavorful so much to choose from. A must try!! Also pricing is great compare to other Tai restaurants. Also service always nice and warm and dinning in just feels comfy. Also enjoy watching on there TV the Tai culture and there food.“
“Salt of the Earth brewery that’s easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention while driving the beautiful outskirts of Watsonville. Located in a large wooden barn next to a lumber company, Corralitos Brewing has a small town feel, where locals come after clocking out from work and enjoying tasty beer while watching the sunset and breathing clean air. The outdoor patio area is reminiscent of a saloon, while the indoor avoids the cliched Industrial interiors of many breweries today, instead relying on the log cabin / barn motif with wooden decor and small town charm. The staff is friendly, conversational, and attentive. The restrooms are clean. There’s the obligatory swag and to go beer for sale. They even offer crowler fills, but I would suggest asking for pricing before simply ordering a large can for home. I ordered two and it cost me $50 with a reasonable tip. That’s the only negative I can really complain about, but I have to take responsibility for it because I didn’t inquire whatsoever.Parking is limited, but when the lot is full, the overflow simply park on the on the shoulder of the adjacent field. Some would say Corralitos Brewing Company is off the beaten path, and they would be correct. It’s not right off the highway or in a shopping center downtown. But it’s worth the extra ten minutes and the countryside is a nice reprieve from downtown Watsonville.“

“Pros: The carnitas were tasty and tender. One dozen tortillas were served hot. Salsa is spicy.
Cons: no place for sit down dining. It's all take away. The interior is drab and desolate looking but the food is very good.“
“As a taco snob, I approve of these tacos!!! From the fresh tortillas, to the great salsas and guacamole. Hire this team and cater a great party!“

“Growing up in Watsonville, Pizza Mia was the quintessential spot for a quick, satisfying slice, a concept that feels rare these days. Returning after more than a decade, I was eager to see if it lived up to my memories, and it absolutely did.
The pizza remains consistently good, the crust is thin but not too thin, with a soft, fluffy interior and a satisfying crisp. The sauce is the real standout, it's light, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, complementing every bite. It is simple, unpretentious, and exactly what you hope for from a neighborhood pizzeria.
Service is fast, and the pricing is fair. I had three slices of pepperoni pizza and three water bottles for $13.81. What struck me most is how Pizza Mia manages to deliver both nostalgia and quality, proving that some local favorites are timeless. The only downside is that I noticed the seating area is now closed, which is a bummer as that was a place to sit, eat, and enjoy your pizza and maybe play an arcade game.
For anyone in Watsonville craving a classic slice done right, this is a must visit!“

“Catz Pawz has been around for a very long time. Small place across the Watsonville High School on the corner of Beach St and Lincoln St. As a high school student I was a frequent customer it's almost like In n Out and you get personal friendly service and you can see up close and personal as they handle your food. If your hungry, crave a double cheese burger with fries, a drink and even a chimichanga all for 8 dollars, Catz Pawz is a must visit. They are open during regular School Hours. A visit here will be one of the best choices you will make. From the sauce they make, to the delicious fries to the friendly service, Catz Pawz is a must stop. You will Enjoy it.“

“I had such a beautiful experience at Anjaneya’s World Café! Ur going to need to make a reservation at mount madonna center first. So worth it .The workers are incredibly sweet, welcoming, and friendly it really makes you feel at home. There are plenty of options to choose from, and the samosas were warm and absolutely delicious,The music playing in the background was so good too—it really added to the whole vibe and made the space feel even more peaceful and uplifting.
I’ll definitely be coming back soon! Also, the Hanuman temple there is truly amazing—such a peaceful and uplifting space. Highly recommend checking this place out 🕉

“This would be a five star review if La Misma were not operating in the old location of La Fuente Taqueria. Everything at La Misma is just fine but La Fuente was one of the highlights of visiting Watsonville for me. The food at La Misma is nothing special and my nostalgia is still hungry.“

“Out of town met looking for dinner and based on google reviews we stopped here. The girl who took our order/server was very nice and even asked the kitchen for a meat not listed on the menu, which they had. Our food came hot and not long after we ordered. I got two quesabirrea tacos and I liked how they were filled with meat and not too much cheese, usually it’s the opposite. They were flavorful and came with enough consume. I was also able to add onion and cilantro and salsa from the salsa bar. My husband ordered two tacos de lengua and two de pastor. He said lengua itself didn’t have too much flavor but with salsa and sides it brought it together. Our only disappointment was they ran out of Mexican cokes. But overall we had a good experience. I recommend if your in the area to try this place out!“

“I have passed by this place forever and finally stopped here yesterday after a day at nearby Sunset State Beach.
I am kicking myself for not visiting this place sooner but I will make it a point to stop here for quick eats in the future.
No. 1: it has a drive-thru! After soaking in the sun and waves, and getting in our steps, we just wanted a place with a drive-thru. To get to their drive-thru and parking lot, it's best to enter from westbound Hwy 129.
No. 2: their menu was easy to read and everything looked delish but we settled on two chicken tacos and 1 super burrito with chicken but no sour cream.
No. 3: THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! I swear my vision cleared with each bite! Perfectly seasoned, tender, juicey, savory chicken with finely chopped onions and pickled carrots on my tacos. Munchkin ate possibly the biggest super burrito he has ever had, filled with chicken, rice, beans... more. He ate it so fast, I didn't get to see much of his burrito's innards. I guess I should have taken a bite when he offered because he sucked it down like a water moccasin!
I definitely wish I ordered a couple more tacos. But it was enough to get us home without the empty stomach shakes.
No. 4: I told munchkin that the next time we want tacos and burritos, I will gladly make the drive just for this place. It is THAT GOOD!
This place is THE mic drop on fast Mexican food! Hands down!!!
(Sorry, no pictures this time because we were so hungry.)“

“Been hitting this spot for decades! Awesome food, my go to on most visits is Camarones a la Vallarta. Tortilla de maiz.hechos a Mano..
Man you put some of those beans on the tortilla, drop like 3 of those bacon wrapped shrimp on top, put lemon all over, smother with the red salsa, put some of that red salsa and lemon on the lil salad they give you and go to town! Rinse, repeat.
If I have had a few too many cerveza might before, I go get the 7 mares y una Corona Bien helada. That will cure what ale's ya!“

“I thought I left a review on this already but I'll do it again because this place is worth it. Absolutely the best Mexican food ever. This is authentic Mexican food not what you would expect in an Americanized place. It helps to speak Spanish because nobody here speaks English. But they have great pictures of the food and you can just try to figure it out. I'm Hawaiian and Irish and German so I have enough languages to deal with. My girlfriend asked for some pico de gallo. They don't carry that. That's Americanized stuff. So they chopped her up some fresh salsa. Unreal. Just gave it to her. You do not find that anymore. This is the best place to ever really. Coming from a half white guy this is for real.“

“Incredible food!!!! This place is fantastic. It’s behind the center. We walked up, placed our takeout order, and was on our way home in 15 mins. We ordered the tikka wrap and rice bowl and lots of garlic naan. It was all AMAZING. We also got the rose lemonade and the mango lassi. Both phenomenal. The owner (I think) threw something else in, some type of veggie curry and that was also Felipe’s. We cannot wait to return. Definitely worth indulging!!!!!“
