“Picked up food to go last year and it was really good. So happy that we found this place again! Ordered garlic parm and spicy fried chicken wing plates, lemongrass chicken and beef meatball pho. Also ordered strawberry and melon boba milk tea and Vietnamese coffee with egg cream. Food and drinks came out quickly. Customer service was great. It was so good that we ate and drank everything! “I was pleasantly surprised by the food. The menu offered a wide variety of items I hadn’t seen before, and the orange chicken was truly unique, and my wife loved the stuffed eggplant. “We enjoyed dinner at Grillin & Chillin Alehouse. We started with sharing a pretzel. It was ok. The bread was fresh and soft, however the portion wasn't large. The mustard was tasty, the cheese wasn't great. For mains, I had a veggie calzone and my husband had a bacon avocado burger. The calzone was better than I expected. It had a lot of cheese and a good amount of veggies. There was a nice amount of spinach, which I think was put in uncooked and softened with the heat inside. My husband thought the burger was very good. He said the beef was high quality. There was a lot of avocado which was actually guacamole. They have lots of TV screens with different games.“

“This is a casual recently remodeled, local Taqueria in Hollister, CA in the Ace Hardware parking lot next to the liquor store. Has a nice clean, modern vibe with multiple flatscreen TVs to watch all the games and a small bar area. You can get your order to-go or dine-in. They have a nice menu board with pictures and prices. You order at the counter and then they will either call your number for you to come get the food or they will bring it to your table depending on who's working. I haven't tried everything on the menu, but the tacos are pretty darn good. I got the Carne Asada tacos which you can get 4 for around $10-$12 something like that. They are nice and juicy and the sauce is a little spicy but not overwhelming. My daughter got the shrimp tacos, which looked pretty good, and were extremely juicy looking and so good she even ordered more when she was finished and at $3 each not bad. The only thing and I could be wrong, but if I remember correctly when I ordered nachos a while back, they were not that great as they used what look like 7-Eleven cheese. For the price for the nachos and being a Taqueria I was expecting they use grilled cheese and melted on the order not some liquid cheese from a bottle or jar. So basically, to recap, I would highly recommend the tacos as they are delicious, but hold off on the nachos until they get better cheese. The only thing I wish they would put on the tacos would be a little bit of cilantro, but other than that they're still pretty good. Non-alcoholic beverages are a little bit overpriced. I mean for one can of soda it's $3 and for 1 bottle of the Mexican sodas, which she usually get at the store for $1 - $1.25 are around $4.25-$4.50 for 1 bottle.... they probably get them at Costco and cost under a dollar apiece and I get it. They have to mark it up and make a profit but that's ridiculous. Either way, I still recommend this Taqueria as the services good and the tacos are definitely good!!! 👍🏼“

“I went to this location on a bus tour for a new staff orientation. We took over the whole building. This place has 3-5 huge tv screens that were playing the Olympic Games, basketball, and soccer. The staff were very busy running around and serving food with a huge smile. Every staff member including the owner, Junior (who was cooking all of our food), had a huge smile on their faces and kept asking if we needed anything else. The bus tour ran late and we had to leave in a hurry. Without complaint the staff cleaned up and asked if we needed anything else. The staff encouraged us to take to-go boxes and went above and beyond in friendly, respectful, welcoming customer service. I love to support places like this and always feel respected and valued as a customer.

“Called in last minute to make reservation, was so nice to get the table ready for me within 40 minutes for 7 people.
Ordered pho, shaking beef, banh xeo, and others that I could not remember. Their pho was good, big portion and full of meat. Unfortunately the sirloin was overcooked and the other parts of the meat have too much fats in them, so it was down on the score.
Their shaking beef was also meh, very thin and overly sweet, probably not their strongest dish. Banh xeo was full of meat and fillings, but not particularly crispy. All in all, it was tasty but only lacking a bit here and there. Their service was pretty good though. Their restaurants are also huge, which is a plus.“
