I was personally not a fan of their burger but that's just me and I know a lot of people do like it. “Only 2 people are working this whole restaurant, one cooking and one person waiting on all the tables on a Friday night. It's almost half an hour to get just water and 1 hour to get food. Well worth it though cuz the food is great, but only come here when you have a few hours to spend.“

“Known in the area as a top destination for breakfast in Morgan Hill. Operated by generations of Betsy's family. Wonderful service, plentiful plates of food and you'll find Betsy there on Sunday's. If you pull up and see a large group of people waiting to get in, don't drive away. Bring a cup of coffee to sip while you wait, but don't worry, the wait won't be unbearable, the turn around is pretty fast. Not sure why it's labeled a lounge here, the lounge is in the bowling alley next door. I love the chicken fried steak, comes with a knife but cuts with a fork. My wife loves the scrambles. I haven't had a bad plate of anything. It's not a Mexican restaurant, but they also serve menudo and chile verde (get it with half rice and half potatoes).“

“This place is always filled with friendly folks, quick service, and delicious food. Their quesabirria is flavorful and has a comforting consome. Their fish tacos are perfectly crisp, and the chilaquiles are the perfect mix of crunchy and soft.“

“I found the fish and chips here to be quite excellent. The fish is prepared tempura style and each piece is huge. I ordered 2 pieces, not realizing how big they are, and I could not finish it. One piece of fish here would have been more than enough for the average person. I also ordered a side of cole slaw, and they gave me a huge portion of that as well. I thought the food here was quite excellent. The prices are also quite reasonable and service was attentive. I would definitely recommend.“

“The absolute best pork bahn mi I've ever had! The succulent and flavorful lemongrass pork was the most delicious sandwich I've had in awhile. Also, the pork belly plate is great option. It's a little more on the pricey side for a bahn mi but it's worth it. The service was pretty quick and friendly. The eatery is just a window from which you order. And then you eat at one of the picnic tables on the patio. The ambiance is very relaxed. Never thought we could find such good food at a train depot. 5 stars!“

The taste brings this passion of Mexican culture to your palate that keeps me coming back weekly for more. They rival my mother's tacos. The outside area is gorgeous but does get full quickly especially when the weather is good or there is live music. Great local place and highly recommended.“

“GVA is our favorite coffee and lunch spot in Morgan Hill. Their pour overs are great, and the Veggie Delight sandwich with added turkey breast is fantastic and generous enough to share. “I went here one day as it was the only place still accepting mobile orders near where I was staying when I finished working a late night. it was really really good. The following week I was out here with another coworker. he loved it so much that we had to go back another time. Got it 3 times in less than 7 days.The only issues were each of those 3 times I ate it. it was so wildly different. I'm not sure why but every time wasnt like the last. the last time we ate here. my coworker asked me if it tasted wierd to him. I'm not sure how they can do from good, to amazing, to awful in less than 7 days.We will probably go back at some point if we make it back out to the area.“

“Incredibly welcoming family vineyard w/ a rich local history and delicious, reasonably priced wines. They had a great variety of sparkling, roses and reds. Highlights were sparkling rose $16 and the estate reserve cab $50. The tasting staff and one of the third generation owners, Gene were so welcoming and kind. Brought the whole family, including young kids (could've also brought pups as they are dog friendly and had a water bowl out) without a reservation around noon on Saturday. We brought our own charcuterie and set up shop by the outdoor fountain/sitting area. It was a wonderful day out for everyone and we were lucky enough to stumble along a bottle your own wine event where many folks were bringing their own bottle from home to fill with their red blend for $14 per standard 750ml size. We recycled a bottle we finished onsite after the $15 tasting and think it was quite a deal! So glad to have found this gem in the area, so rich with history. We're also told they have free concerts in their outdoor spacious theater area during the summer so can't wait to check that out, they have regular events posted on their website and are very responsive on the phone to reservation inquiries.“

Everything was impeccable and we received so many compliments from our guests on the decor (by Savannah at Deluxe Design Decor), food, staff, and ambiance. It was literally a DREAM WEDDING!! “Excellent bakery serving Mexican Breads (pan dulce). This review is only for the bread. I knew this place was going to be good when I saw line of locals and contractors waiting to pick up their order (more were streaming in as I was leaving). Since I was getting only bread, the friendly lady behind the counter helped me immediately and patiently answered my questions. Everyone in my party loved their bread! I ordered six breads and three medium coffees and they came to $22.“

We were served by their manager, Rocio, and she was a delight with her enthusiasm, recommendations and overall great attitude. “Food is always great! Spicy mama roll is my favorite. It's huge is indeed spicy which I personally enjoy. For baked rolls you can't go wrong with the lion king roll although it is smaller. The tempura udon is so delicious and flavorful and it's a huge serving. it does come out very hot so if ordering that for a kiddo you definitely need to keep that in mind. “Great outdoor patio situated above the heavy downtown traffic. We stopped for an early dinner. We sat outside as it was too cold inside. The patio had heaters, but they are too high up to really keep you warm. I have to say the prices here are very high. 3 lamb chops with veggies was $48. 2 skewers of chicken and 1/2 cup of rice pilaf $18. A Greek salad was $11. It was a decent size unlike the main courses. The food tasted good and was cooked exactly as ordered. The cook is good. The waitress was friendly and brought us our drinks, but never returned to ask if we needed refills. At 5:30 still not many people there and it was a Friday night. It might have been a bit early?“

“Arrived 2p on a Tuesday. Most tables were full but there was no line at the counter. We were cheerfully greeted as soon as we entered, and our pastrami sandwiches were made up relatively quickly and exactly as ordered (we substituted other cheeses). Very tasty, and free cookies are always nice! I especially appreciate being able to order a half sandwich. They're a little more expensive than, say, Erik's, but the included cookie offsets that a bit.“
