“We ordered the bulgogi burrito, bibimbap, and pork tenderloin katsu. When we noticed most customers were older men, we assumed great taste for the money with large portions. Our assumptions were correct. There’s a lot of things that set this place apart from others. We noticed the pork katsu was made in house. Most places just use the frozen one distributed by the same vendor but not this place. We also noticed most of the sauces were self made as well. Katsu sauce, salad dressing and salsa seemed made in house. Everything except the ketchup packet. I’ll be going back to place to try their breakfast menu, sandwiches, and hamburger. I’m also curious about their Friday only chicken strips.“

“If you’re looking for the best desi pizza in the Bay Area, this place lives up to its name. Best Desi Pizza absolutely blew me away.

I ordered the tandoori pizza and my god… it was incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced — smoky, spicy, and packed with flavor. The crust was crispy, the toppings were generous, and every bite had that authentic desi taste you don’t usually find on pizza.

On top of the food being amazing, Robin took great care of us. His customer service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and he made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they really care about the experience here.

“Excellent food. We had a royal mix plate and an appetizer combo. All the proteins were great - good flavor, texture, and spices. Lamb shish kebab was very soft and flavorful. Highly recommend their baba ganoush, as it seems to have the right mix of sweet and roasty flavor. Haydari had good amount of dill and mint, and hummus was also good. All in all, excellent food.“

“This was our first time trying World Wrapps, and it definitely won't be our last. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly, and the overall service stood out. Our food came out quickly, which was a huge plus.

My son ordered the Caesar salad and the Caesar wrap, and both were very tasty. He mentioned the wrap had great flavor, the chicken was well seasoned, the croutons were crunchy and flavorful, and the wrap itself was soft and fresh without being overly hot or soggy.

I ordered the furikake salmon bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce really brought everything together, it was flavorful and brought the dish together. The sushi rice had the perfect texture and tasted great, and the salmon paired really well with all the components. It was one of those meals where every bite just works.

What also stood out was the attentiveness of the staff, they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience even better, and picked up our trays when we were finished.

“Celebrating my husband's 65th Birthday. Took a excursion today to cool off out of the valley heat and searched out an authentic Italian meal. I ordered the Linguini and fresh Clams with roasted peppers and light cream sauce. The results were delicious with excellent flavor and presentation. Hubby needed his Cavatelli with red gravy as a side dish since he hasn't found anything like this in our area. He also ordered Lasagna as the main course and we were surprised to see a very large portion! The bread, and I am not a bread eater, was heavenly. Hubby claims good Italian bread is like eating cake and I couldn't agree more with him more. I am now a convert! The pasta is homemade, the red gravy is delicious. We will be returning. Thank you for being here for all of us Italian food lovers ❤️“

“We are evacuees from the SC Mtn fires. Brew City was offering free meals so we decided to try it. I cannot say thank you enough. We were treated with so much kindness from all of the staff and the owner. Not only is the food and beer selection amazing but the atmosphere and outside restaurant set up is beautiful. We actually laughed and talked as a family. It was the best thing to happen to us in 10 days of evacuation, moving constantly and never knowing if we have a home to go back to. We will continue to come back as regular patrons... and I promise not to cry again. Please support this amazing restaurant. He said he would continue to do it as long as he could. We paid half of our bill for an amazing meal and a healing experience. My only complaint is they do not have merchandise to purchase! I wanted to be able to support them when we are back in our feet. “My first visit and it took me back to my time in Chennai. The service is fast and friendly. The menu is intense but they also have a “thali” which we ordered. Basically the one green veg item was the main deal rest was so so. The Rava … special ghee masala dosa was nice. All in all nice meal and pleasant ambiance. The manager was very pleasant and helpful as well. Price points are actually decent. Dinner for two with coffee about 50 bucks including tip.“

“***USP: one of the still around, old time American Chinese restaurant. There is this interesting documentary on YouTube which explains how American Chinese cuisine was born and how these restaurants spread throughout the US. All these restaurants have a similar menu as well by design. With the influx of the more authentic Chinese cuisine restaurants, these old time American Chinese restaurants atleast in the bayarea have dwindled significantly so I was excited to find one close by.

***AMBIANCE: place is definitely old but well maintained. They have a large fish tank upfront which has a single large lonely fish. We went on V day and the old lady, who I assume is also one of the owners, was the only one at the restaurant. She had neatly folded napkins in the shape of a heart at all the tables.

****FOOD: prices have increased across most restaurants in the bay and this place seems to be no different. The quantities are definitely on the lower side as well.

We got some beans, chicken and fried rice. Every dish hit the spot. The fried rice was especially comforting, it was moist and umami rich. The green beans were pretty delectable as well. They ticked the boxes on everything you would expect from American Chinese food.

Some other customers who seemed to be old timers walked in. They mentioned they came in specifically for the lemon chicken. Looks like the place is still running due to some long time loyal customers like them.“

“Kaizen was super delicious!!! It exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a local sushi spot with fresh fish and I’m happy to report that I think we found our new go-to spot. I’m usually a bit picky with sushi places and haven’t returned to any so far in the area but the fresh was really fresh, portions were extremely sizable, and service was kind and attentive.

We already started digging in before I took the photos so please excuse the missing pieces! The chirashi bowl had about 15 pieces of big sashimi and was really worth the bang for your buck. The rolls were also huge with good pieces of fish! The hotate nigiri was my star of the show and the yummiest bite! The salmon egg nigiri was pretty salty though so that’s the only one I’d probably skip next time.

Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner and I hope this place gets lots of love!! The owners and wait staff were working incredibly hard! Can’t wait to return again soon.“

“My oh my was I in for a surprise! The food was pretty good I got fish ceviche (I was hungover 😅) and it was very tasty and prepared right. My only hickup was there was something weird and stringy mixed in with it. I still ate most of it but thats one thing that tripped me out. Not enough to give them less than 4 starts tho. The staff was very friendly and all of my requests were answered. Looking forward to going back again.“

That honey biscuit was definitely a guilty pleasure that I don't regret. This may be my go-to for chicken tenders just based on the quality of the meat alone. I tried the Krispy Krunchy sauce and it was kind of like a chipotle dip which isn't my favorite. I will likely get a different sauce next time But if the spicy orange dip is what you like, I guess this one is pretty tasty.

“Decided to stay here at the DoubleTree for the weekend. They have an amazing restaurant and bar inside the hotel that is so convenient for people who don't want to go out. You can eat and drink right there inside your hotel and just relax.

The guy working there his name is Gustavo, he did a fantastic job. And he recommended the tomahawk steak, which I would have to recommend to anybody. It's a $100 steak that's completely worth it!“
