This place has solid American Chinese food, which now understanding of the context of how it originated in the US, really makes me appreciate the ma and pa shops still in existence. The wife is front of house, the husband is chef. Their lunch specials are good: you get an eggroll, choice of rice/fried rice, and the main entree. ***USP: one of the still around, old time American Chinese restaurant. There is this interesting documentary on YouTube which explains how American Chinese cuisine was born and how these restaurants spread throughout the US. All these restaurants have a similar menu as well by design. With the influx of the more authentic Chinese cuisine restaurants, these old time American Chinese restaurants atleast in the bayarea have dwindled significantly so I was excited to find one close...read full review
