“We ordered the bulgogi burrito, bibimbap, and pork tenderloin katsu. When we noticed most customers were older men, we assumed great taste for the money with large portions. Our assumptions were correct. There’s a lot of things that set this place apart from others. We noticed the pork katsu was made in house. Most places just use the frozen one distributed by the same vendor but not this place. We also noticed most of the sauces were self made as well. Katsu sauce, salad dressing and salsa seemed made in house. Everything except the ketchup packet. I’ll be going back to place to try their breakfast menu, sandwiches, and hamburger. I’m also curious about their Friday only chicken strips.“

And to mention, waitress was telling us how the kitchen staff was now going to sleep because we were asking to change music. Wow, guilt trip because we, and others hated the music. “Vpho is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious pho and more! They recently remodeled, and it looks really nice inside—modern and inviting. One thing that sets Vpho apart is that they don't cram their tables together like some other Asian restaurants, so you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. Plus, there's lots of parking available, which makes getting there easy. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. I tried the Chicken Wing with mild spicy sauce, and it was surprisingly good—tender and flavorful. The Beef Bone Pho was outstanding; the meat practically fell off the bone, and the soup was warm and yummy—perfect for a chilly day. Although I didn't try it this time, they have a cocktail menu, which sounds intriguing for my next visit. The restroom is nicely remodeled, but it could be cleaner, which is something they might want to improve. Overall, Vpho gets five stars from me for its delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, and great service. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to!“

“Jun Bistro was one of the most memorable meals I had in Milpitas, especially if you’re a fan of mushrooms. The restaurant’s Yunnan-inspired menu really shines through its creative use of different mushroom varieties, and several of the dishes we ordered showcased just how flavorful and versatile they can be.

The highlight of the meal was easily the Truffle and Mushroom Rice. Rich, earthy, and deeply aromatic, it was the kind of dish that kept drawing us back for another bite even when the table was already full of great food. The Herbal Beef Offal and Mushroom Stew was another standout, with a comforting broth that carried layers of herbal flavor while allowing the mushrooms to shine.

The Yunnan Signature Fried Tofu was crisp on the outside and soft inside, while the stinky tofu delivered the bold, fermented flavor that fans of the dish look for. We also enjoyed the Stir-Fry Beef Loin, which was tender and well-seasoned.

I got the teriyaki chicken and veggies . Which started out really good after a few more bites I started feeling a little nauseous. I figure maybe I was eat so fast that my brain and stomach did click. So I just dismissed it and added more sauce. Think it just need more flavor. Before I knew it what was on the inside came rushing to the outside . I barely made to the parking lot and spent the next 7 1/2 minutes praying to the trees and the dirt. Can't say what happened if it was bad chicken veggie or rice or the extra sauce that did me in. This just one experience i have gone back several times since then but vow to never eat the teriyaki chicken bowl again. Never want a repeat episode“

The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. “We ordered the stir-fried hand-pulled noodles, beef chow mein, garlic naan, grilled lamb chops, lamb skewers, and baked buns.

As someone from Henan, I thought the stir-fried hand-pulled noodles tasted somewhat similar to the style back home, and overall it was probably the best dish we had this time. The garlic naan was decent, and the lamb skewers were also okay.

However, the grilled lamb chops were disappointing. The meat was way too tough and almost impossible to chew. After we mentioned it to the staff, they kindly removed the dish from our bill, which I appreciated.

Later, we also ordered beef chow mein and baked buns. The beef chow mein was pretty average. As for the baked buns, it did seem like there was more meat filling than before, but the flavor was different from what I remembered. They weren’t as fragrant, didn’t have much juice inside, and overall tasted a bit dry, so they weren’t really to my taste.

Overall, the food here feels different from when the restaurant first opened, and I’m not sure if the chef has changed. Based on the dishes I tried this time, I’d say the stir-fried hand-pulled noodles are still worth trying, but I’d be cautious about ordering the other dishes. I also visited the Mountain View location for lunch, but personally I wouldn’t recommend that one either, since they didn’t have stir-fried noodle dishes and only offered soup noodles.“

We were initially going to get take out but a few tables were open and employees were really welcoming so we decided to dine in.

Today we got their Big Brother with white sauce only and the Braised Beef Egg Noodle Soup. The soup came first so we shared it and enjoyed that while waiting for the baked item which takes longer to make. The baked item is a bit heavy so we also decided to share it. The Big Brother dish was very creamy and tasty. The chicken was very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

“Newly discovered Korean fried chicken place .. it was amazinggggg!!!! I had chicken wings for two back to back days from here..

I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn’t know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible.

The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I know I am gonna be ordering from here soon over and over again!“
