“Keep in mind this may have been a isolated incident. The service is always respectful and courteous. Portions are above par. Prices are Lil sus but take it or leave it . The price is the price. I got the teriyaki chicken and veggies . Which started out really good after a few more bites I started feeling a little nauseous. I figure maybe I was eat so fast that my brain and stomach did click. So I just dismissed it and added more sauce. Think it just need more flavor. Before I knew it what was on the inside came rushing to the outside . I barely made to the parking lot and spent the next 7 1/2 minutes praying to the trees and the dirt. Can't say what happened if it was bad chicken veggie or rice or the extra sauce that did me in. This just one experience i have gone back several times since then but vow to never eat the teriyaki chicken bowl again. Never want a repeat episode“

“This is the best pan-fried soup dumpling I’ve had in the Bay Area. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The scallion bun is packed with scallions, making it a must-try for scallion lovers. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely visit again.“

The chef threw some very bright and obviously fresh vegetables out of the flat top and got cooking. For a little hole in the wall spot, the teriyaki bowl I had was very tasty, filled with tender chicken and fresh vegetables. An actual pleasant surprise. Surprise. Highly recommended for a quick spot to stop in or get something to go.“

They have great customer service and bathroom available for customers. The lipton tea was great. I had the large chicken teriyaki. Yummy!“

“I just keep forgetting they play the worst music. And at times that you wouldn't play hot pop, rap. Older crowd means NOT pop nor hip-hop. And to mention, waitress was telling us how the kitchen staff was now going to sleep because we were asking to change music. Wow, guilt trip because we, and others hated the music. We had our two little kids with us and (without any prompting) he let us know which items we were ordering could be adjusted to have spices or sauces on the side to make sure we could share with the kids. We get the bento boxes with teryaki chicken, California rolls, and sashimi (tuna or salmon) the miso soup is great and the salad with that delicious dressing is perfect. If I had to choose one item, it would be their grilled chicken leg bento square, and when it's on-sale it's an absolute steal at $9.99!

Other great options I'd recommend are their popcorn chicken, g-pie golden chicken cutlet, deluxe braised pork rice bowl, five spices fried chicken cutlet square, and thai lime pepper crispy chicken square.

“It's an alternative to Rooster and Rice which is basically the Thai style hainan chicken rice. What I like about Chicken Meets Rice is that it has more than one style of chicken in that it also has fried chicken but then tbh the whole point of these kind of food is the hainan chicken so I'd recommend the steamed chicken with chicken rice instead of the other stuff on the menu. Chicken is tender and flavorful and I prefer this style of hainan chicken over the Cantonese style.

This place also has other sauces (I love the spicy Singaporean sauce but it has a kick) in addition to the regular sauce.

You order through the kiosk and pick up at the other end of the counter.

This location is inside the small food court next to 99 Ranch and the food court is basically dying so I'm hoping it stays there. The noodle and the boba place pretty much died already. Service is good and courteous for a to go place.“

“Newly discovered Korean fried chicken place .. it was amazinggggg!!!! I had chicken wings for two back to back days from here..

I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn’t know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible.

The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I know I am gonna be ordering from here soon over and over again!“
