“This is a special review, and I’d like to highlight one of the employees, Mr. Gao. We visited the Cupertino location, and my dad accidentally left his bag there (with his phone and water bottle inside). When I called the restaurant, I mistakenly reached the Milpitas location.

Even though Mr. Gao doesn’t work at that location, he went above and beyond to help us. He personally contacted the Cupertino store, reassured me, and explained that they have security cameras, so they would be able to locate the bag. His calm, thorough, and responsible approach meant a lot to us during a stressful moment.

We already love the food at DH Noodle, but this experience really showed the integrity and sense of ownership your staff has—qualities that matter deeply to us. Huge shout-out to Mr. Gao, as well as the Cupertino team. Thank you for the outstanding service.“

“Been wanting to try this spot for the longest but feel like I would be let down because Nam Vang on Alvin is elite and always a sj staple. Eventually gave it a shot because my brother went give his opinion. Came on a Monday around 5pm. No one in sight... we were the only ones there, which wasn't a good sign, service was great though.

Overall clean and your standard Vietnamese restaurant.

To the food! Man the #1 was honestly as good or little better than nam vang. I did it with broth today since my body needed some thing soupy from the weekend. Meat was very tender, soupy was cleansing my soul, and a lot of flavor from the dried shrimp and ground pork. Chinese donut was fresh it felt like. Only thing the meatball was not sticking together as much as I like (I like Nam vang meatballs better)

Glad I have this place a shot. Probably will go here again soon to try the non broth one.

Also heard it could be same family as owner of Nam Van, which would make sense.

“Such delicious food for a great price. The hainanese chicken was succulent and the spring onion sauce was perfect for the chicken rice. I loved the vegetable with seafood too, cooked with delicious peanuts. The laksa is not like the one from Singapore, definitely a new creation.“

“This new spot opened up. It’s located inside a building called the “Culinary Block” inside a large parking lot for take away orders only. Overall, the price is good for the quality and quantity of food. I got the Northwest Lianpi noodles, Xinjiang Rice Noodle With Beef Shank, Meiling Congee, Homemade Yogurt, and Homemade Plum Juice.Liangpi: The noodles were soft and slightly bouncy with a nice chew to them. Very unique texture! It came with three sauces to mix into the noodles so you can adjust the spiciness however you like. The flavor was very balanced and it was easy to finish the whole thing without getting tired of the flavor.Xinjiang Rice Noodle: This dish was very flavorful and a little on the saltier side compared to the other dishes. Nice if you are into something heavier in flavor. It’s not as spicy as it looks and comes with a thick round rice noodle.Meiling Congee: This dish was pretty special, the flavor profile is very subtle but well balanced. I haven’t tried something like this before. It has a tiny hint of sweetness and has a bit of a nutty soymilk flavor and bits of lotus seed inside. Like a dessert porridge. Very tasty!Homemade Yogurt: This yogurt honestly has a phenomenal texture and I would definitely recommend it! It’s almost like a mix between mochi and liquid yogurt in the slightly stretchy texture. The flavor is good too since it’s just a tad sweet and just a tad sour.Plum juice: Slightly sour and sweet juice that is refreshing to go with food and increase appetite.Overall, I would say the food here is pretty good because the owner really pays attention to the quality! The food is well seasoned and balanced. Can’t wait to try the other things on the menu.

“Tried Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles and honestly… solid spot. The thin noodles surprised me super chewy with great strength even though they’re thin. Respect to the noodle puller because that texture was on point.

The soup was flavorful and came with that classic Lanzhou level grease, which sounds intense but actually keeps the broth hot and satisfying. Spice level was perfectly balanced not trying to end your day, but just enough to wake up your taste buds.

Also tried the thick noodles from the chili oil bowl strong, super chewy, and full of character. Basically the noodle equivalent of someone who works out legs every day.

Overall, this place is a legit hand-pulled noodle fix. Great texture, great flavor, great heat. Definitely coming back whenever that Lanzhou noodle craving hits.“

“No complaints! Came in for a late lunch and the restaurant was still fairly packed. Ordered a Dry Noodle with Ground Pork and it came out within 10 minutes. The noodles had a nice chew and the dish surprisingly wasn't oily overall. Simple and fulfilling! 🍜🐷😋🥢“

The aburi shime saba is the best thing on the menu. It’s lightly poached and the caramelized sugar on top adds the perfect contrast of texture and flavor. I’ve been here a few times to try the appetizers, but the MUST GET item is still this saba.

Uzumakiya Udon: (4/5)
The Uzumakiya Udon is good，the noodles are chewy, not overcooked; and the broth is flavorful. The other toppings leave something to be desired, so if you want to be satisfied, order the Oxtail instead. (Although it’s gotten quite expensive😔）“

“Came here for a casual date night on a Friday. Place was pretty empty for a Friday which meant we got seated right away, and staff was friendly throughout. Portions run small so plan to order more than you think you need. Still a great value. For the food itself:

The Dan Dan noodles are the move. Oily, salty, spicy, and the Sichuan peppercorns actually numb your face and stick around. Makes sense they're the most popular thing on the menu.

Chicken xiao long bao were good but the broth inside was weak compared to other places I've had them. Still good though.

Chicken potstickers were well executed, good crisp on the bottom, but nothing standout about them.

Sweet and sour cucumber was a solid starter and looked nice, but the slices were too thick to actually be able to rip out.

The egg fried rice is really good. Oilier than most but that's exactly why it works.“

“We got the nanjing roasted duck and beef noodle soup here, and they were both very delicious! I would definitely come back here again. The roast duck was cut well, and its skin was very crispy. The sauce was special and complemented the duck well. I can see why this was highly recommended here. As for the beef noodle soup, it was on the sweeter side, and the beef tasted like it was red braised. If we get the same next time, we definitely need to get some plain rice to balance the saltiness and sweetness.“

“The soap was very tasty, it had a lot of flavor and wasn't too salty. The noodles were great as well, they were long and chewy. There was also a good amount of meat and vegs as well. One bowl of soap coated me around 20 dollars before tip and they only took cash.“

“A pretty solid pho restaurant in the area. The building is pretty unique, that's all on its own area in a plaza and it looks like a lot prettier prior to a renovation of some kind. It looks that they deleted off some of the walls and redid some of the seating and the colors of a little more muted too. At least there's a gumball machine. Speaking of which, they have an extensive menu with a lot of pho and rice dishes and even some sandwiches and even milk tea! I had to shaken beef and it came with some french fries that were crinkle cut and was not too bad! It was a little chewy even with the meat but it's okay, at least the onions and bell peppers wernt raw or anything else. I absolutely love their spring rolls! It's got the normal feelings like the noodles and the bean sprouts and the shrimp and chicken, but they also put a Chinese donut stick inside too! The price was also pretty good for the quantity that you received, which wasn't the same that I could say the same for every other dish here at $6. The shaken beef was $17... They also had a milk tea for $6. All of this was pretty easy to order and because there wasn't a lot of people today on a weekday service was really fast and easy. Payment is also easy too as you get up from your table to pay as well as obtain any takeout boxes as needed.“

It's an authentic original flavor from Vietnam. Not the fusion BS food that's pop-up restaurant is doing now a days. When I went to pay the bill, i looked in the kitchen and saw all the cooks were old in their 60s +, I understood why the flavors brought back memories of the pass. Get to know the owner and you’ll be glad you came here often enough to get to know her. She’s the best! We come here often on Sundays but we also come for lunch on Christmas Eve with our family. “OMG! I have been looking for this flavor for 3 years straight, from Canada to California. This tasted like the noodle soup stores in my grownup neighborhood back in my hometown. This brought back lots of fun memories from childhood.Their Shrimp Wonton Egg Noodle Soup and Shrimp Wonton with Egg Rice Noodle Soup were delicious. The Vietnamese iced milk coffee was strong ?The restaurant was quite small, so the seating was cramped. But, they had both indoor and outdoor seatings.

Vegetarian options: Don’t bother. There’s no vegetarian dishes here.
