“Great sushi. Not enormous portions but the prices reflect smaller sushi rolls. Great sushi, it came out very quickly. Staff was incredible and very nice. Would recommend. They have seating inside and public seating outside the restaurant. You can tell many people do carry out here.“
“We went to Araki Sushi for lunch. This lunch spot is located in the heart of what we call college row in Palo Alto. We were greeted immediately when we walked in. Given waters until everyone decided what they desired to drink. The menu is full of foodie possibilities. Two Friends got the Chicken Teriyaki Bento's. It includes soup, salad, steamed rice & 4 pcs California Roll. She added deep fried gyoza. Nicole enjoyed Eel Eggs. I forgot what it was called.... Ivan and Steven ordered the lunch special Roll combo. Any 2 Rolls $18.95. Any 3 Rolls $22.95. They're served with soup and salad. I enjoyed 8 pc deep fried California Roll. The portions are huge. They create everything fresh in front of you. Happily to say, we were full and ready to nap but hi ho back to work we go. Well definitely come back soon.“
“Taro San Japanese Noodle Bar is famous for its hand-made noodles. They are the heart and soul of the place. On a recent rainy day, indulging in their Wagyu signature noodleb bowl couldn't have been more satisfying. It easily secured a spot in my top 2 favorite restaurants at Stanford Shopping Center.“
“I love their dim sum but they are not on DoorDash any longer . Maybe I’m mistaken but I don’t see them when I look them up . The dim sum is amazing and I like the quality of how they cook their food is . I ordered dd from this place a few times and pick up. I’ve never eaten at the actual restaurant.“
“Absolutely amazing experience! My husband and friend came here on a rainy Saturday and had to wait a bit. Once we were seated we were greeted pretty quickly by Helen who was super friendly and knowledgeable. All of our food was super hot, fresh, and delicious! I would recommend this place !!!!!“
“Delicious and vegetarian, what a great find! To top it off, service was incredible and so refreshing to have wonderful customer service. There was a bit of mix-up with my order but she sorted it out and they were both was quite friendly. I got the veggie duck and the black pepper chicken chow mein. Serving size and prices, no complaints at all. I had leftovers for another meal or two. Delicious and flavorful no doubt! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.“
“will probably become my go to hand pulled noodle spot in fremont. got to try the minced pork, braised pork belly, and chili oil noodles. chili oil with wide noods was my favorite by far but they were all delicious (and it might be worth it to get an extra order of noodles since they're super generous with the sauce). pig ear and seaweed salad were also both solid!“
“The udon deluxe was good but the more I ate, the more salty it tasted. They also didn’t put a lot of meat in there. The creamy salmon udon was good. Takoyaki was just meh. Had too much mayo on it. Eggplant tempura was good just a little greasy. Atmosphere was very nice. Service was slow but it was because there was only one server working and she was really nice.“
“The service from the waitress is great. She loves the hot and sour flavor. Now I want to eat it every day, but it’s a bit far away, so I go there every week. My son also likes it very much. I usually add powder for him to eat, and he is very special. I like sausages and beef. I also like beef. My husband likes their radishes. All in all they are delicious. I hope there will be another restaurant nearby.“
“I love fat rice rolls very much.My cousin’s soup is rich, pink and tender, and the pork intestines are super tasty! Also ordered a big bowl of noodles (pork trotters + fatty intestines)The pig's feet melt in your mouth! ! Also a must-tryNext time I want to try the red oil hand ❤️in additionThe clerk is very kind! ! !“
“Cocurry was here forever, but even the last time we came, it wasn't the same. Kong Sarang, on the other hand was hopping! The place quickly filled up after we arrived. That always happens to us. We ordered the seafood pancake and the combo of pork belly and tofu soup. They quickly served us with 8 varieties of banchan. I was a tad disappointed that we didn't get asked like the tables around us if we wanted any refills on the banchan. I felt like once we ordered and our food came out, we turned into red-headed step-children, and they forgot about Dre. The food was good. Comparable to Tofu House in Newark. The seafood pancake was hefty. She's a big girl. One could get full just off of that. We probably would return if in the mood for Korean food.“
“Hands down. This is worth all the good reviews.I recently moved to the Bay Area and was looking for a new Thai place to call my favorite. I'm super glad I came to this one!I had the spicy fried rice, and they were all coated well with seasoning. For those who like spice, although this dish is categorized as spicy, it isn't. It's more like a 3 out of 10 for me.All good. Just ask for chili sauce! My partner and I had the mango sticky rice as well.Portion is small but really good if you aren't trying to roll out of a restaurant!I loved that they fried and salted the mung beans on top of the sweet rice. Together with the semi sour mango, the flavor profile is great!Definitely recommend giving it a try.Price is fair for the portion, and the flavors are well done!10/10! Will be back.“
“Came here for dinner on a Saturday night after some rock climbing. Luckily we put our name down right before a bunch of groups came and we got seated in a few minutes. Otherwise it was looking to be at least a 20 min wait. Ordering was through your phone. You also pay on your phone. Water is self serve. Food comes out on disposable plates. So turn around for tables can be pretty quick! They have their system nailed down. All the food came out quickly and it was all delicious. But oh my god the pork katsu. That first bite was heavenly and I will have to order it every single time! We all got a variety from karage to chicken katsu but the pork...always pork from now on. It was tender and just melted in my mouth. And the fry was perfectly crispy. I can't wait to come back!“
“Love their noodles - all 3 types are chewy and delicious! I am a non-spicy eater and appreciate I can get lots of flavor and it isn’t lost with the non-spicy option. I enjoy both the regular soup as well as the tomato one!We also like their appetizer plates where we can pick our favorites… and the fried pork too!“
“Amazing ox tail udon. Very tender. I added a poached egg to it. Broth clean and not salty. We also had chicken karaage and fried whole squid, which was also tender and flavorful. If you are into udon, this is the place to get something that is different from the others. This place gets busy so it's a good idea to get there at opening.“
“Found this gem in downtown mountainview, craving for hand pulled noodles. I was surprised with the al dente texture of the noodles in broth and over sauce mixture. The spicy beef noodle soup was tasty. The broth was clean and little with subtle spiciness. The sliced beef is not as tender as I would have liked. It was more chewy than tender. I really enjoyed the braised rib noodle dish- the flavor with the fresh veggies was good and the noodles was cooked perfectly. Definitely order the dumplings! We also order the pork and cabbage pie- it was a big flat version of a fried dumpling. I really enjoyed it! The service was good, the staff were friendly and attentive! They also took our orders at the table.“
“This was the best Thai food I ever had. It was sort of like Chinese style on the portion size of each dish it's sharing dish. Fried fish was my favorite it was very delicious, it's must have! It has sweetness to it, it balance out. The spicy fish soup was very spicy but it's spicily good! I asked medium spicy but it still pretty spicy so if you cannot handle the spiciness don't get medium level, get lower level for your comfort. The chicken was also pretty good, with their in house peanut dressing, paring very well together. I got the Chai Tea. Their food overall is great very delicious. The server is good, but little bit of English barrier but that's no issue at all that is also mean the food is good. And it was!“
“I particularly like this autumn and winter limited edition pickled vegetable and beef rice noodles.I think the spiciness of the beef brisket stewed in spicy soup is slightly spicy, but it is very thoughtful to be able to adjust the spiciness when eating the beef and noodles separately!!The beef brisket is juicy, tender and especially sweet when cooked in stock.“
“Ox 9 is a classic chinese noodle restaurant that serves all types of noodles from soup based, to stir fried, with a variety of thin, thick, round, up to 6 different choices. The servers are pretty attentive and will always refill your water without asking and the food comes out pretty fast. Menu’s are via scanning from a QR code and is easy to order online. But you pay in person instead of doing it via onlinezPlenty of seats but there might be a wait at high times.Parking lot is also kinda small but the lot next door/ residential down the street has availability as a last resort.Would recommend if you need a noodle fix!“
“I haven't ordered the food here yet BUT I have stopped in for the boba many times. They have such a unique boba tea menu from mango pomelo sago to tiramisu lattes along with regular boba tea options as well. I'm way more impressed with their boba tea menu and quality than Boba Guys right across the street. There is also a convenient little kiosk at the front where you can input your order which is nice if you're an introvert, are indecisive, or have anxiety ordering things (lol). My only complaint is that I've tried ordering the boba online for pick up a couple of times and the system hasn't worked for me. I'll input my order, get ready for check out, and as soon as I input my card and press finish it says "oops there is an issue". I tried a few different cards (and know my credit cards are fine) and it still does this. Not sure if that's an issue on my end with internet, etc. but it's happened a couple of times. So I'll mostly just order in person and it's fine. The restaurant side has a mom and pop family feel to it. I'll have to try the food sometime soon!“
“Udon was delicious, beef was cooked well, sauces were yummyKid-friendliness: The setup is a little difficult for kids. It's kind of intended for one tray per person and fitting multiple bowls on a tray is a little hard, but they have plenty of high chairs and space to use them, so overall it's good.“
“Bing's Dumplings has very authentic pork soup dumplings and "spicy and sour noodle soup with minced pork and potatoes". Bing's pork soup dumpling is at lease same or even better than Shanghai's famous "NanXiang" pork soup dumpling. The spicy and sour noodle soup is originated from China's ShanXi province, I had lived in it's capital Xi'an for a few years and had my first "spicy and sour noodle soup with minced pork and potatoes" there. The potsticker is also yammy. We always comes back to Bing's for the nostalgic food:-)“
“Very nice service and interior. I liked the food a lot, which was high quality and had delicious authentic flavors. I recommend the chicken samsa and the yogurt dessert. The chicken noodle was delicious as well. I will return soon because it was a good meal.“
“I wanted to go to this place based on the design and food. The food and service is great, but the problem is how the inside of the restaurant. It feels bland inside due to the choice of colors and there are hardly any decorations. It also feels hot inside too, but it’s probably because of the hot weather outside. There are rarely seatings here due to the size of the place. I really like the Pho, however. I wouldn’t really wanna dine here due to atmosphere. Maybe next time, I’ll just do a takeout.“
“The namesake sushi, eighty-eight roll, was great and nicely presented with poke pieces on top. The regular rolls: spider, Philly, and Negihama had chewy seaweed (not a crispy bite) wrap and not as fun and tasty. The agedashi tofu was nice and the hot sake was generous. They were busy so they couldn't always check when we needed water or additional ginger to add flavor to sushi.“
“There has been nothing in the menu we do not like. The best appetizer is the roti with chicken curry. The Curry is a non spicy coconut milk curry. The best salad is the green tea salad. It has a slight kick even if you drop the jalapeños. The best soup is the samosa soup. For entries there are lots of good options, but I like the fiery dishes. They are sweet and spicy.Think of Burmese food as Indian, Thai, and Chinese fusion. If you like any of those cuisines you can find something you would enjoy on the menu.“
“The star dish: black bean noodles. If a dish has me hooked on every bite, I can literally make space even on a full stomach. This dish was 'it's: savory, 'al dente' noodles. Well made and a simple dish. The Sweet and Sour Pork (Beijing Style). Is what the restaurant is well known for. The big difference with this dish is that there's no red coloring in the sauce. I like how they served the sauce on top of the pork. This prevented the meat from becoming soggy from being drenched in sauce. I was not too impressed with the garlic beef. My guess is that they used some sort of tenderizer, which threw off the texture of the meat. It was okay, but not impressive. I went on a Saturday afternoon, when the restaurant was crowded. Wait time was around 30 minutes. The restaurant is nice and clean.“
“This place is great! I feel like enjoyed it even more than the Santa Clara location?! I pretty much stick to the to the tonkatsu ramen (I prefer thin noodles), the broth is creamy and deeply flavorful, the charshu is delicious, I kind feel like I could take or leave the spinach but it’s nice and fresh. The crispy chicken (Karaage) is bomb. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve had mixed experiences picking up…insert minor rant: They follow some of the requests in the order, but often miss things I’ve paid extra for, last time it was corn and garlic, this time it was charshu and garlic. I caught the garlic and asked for one and the guy helping me first looked in my bag, then checked my receipt while saying “did you order garlic”, and didn’t apologize when he saw I had. I felt like he thought I was trying scam them, when they’re the ones that made the mistake. I asked if I could have 2, given that it’s free in the restaurant and I had missed out last time (though I didn’t mention that, didn’t seem necessary), but he refused. The missing charshu was just a bummer too. Neither are a huge deal, but just takes away from the experience a little, will stick to dining in going forward.“
“I've been wanting to try this new place because it kept popping up on yelp. We went for lunch over the weekend, so there was no wait. The inside is brightly lit and clean, but there weren't too many tables. We ordered through our phones and received our food quickly. We got the original beef pork bone soup and the tomato beef brisket soup. It was a fun experience putting everything into the soup and cooking it, it was like a personal hotpot. The meat was very good and the soup came with tons of noodles. The other toppings were good, but I wasn't a fan of the romain lettuce that it came with. I thought it was going to come with cabbage, but it was lettuce. I personally don't like hot and soggy romaine lettuce, so I was disappointed when that was the main vegetable. On the bright side, both soups were tasty! I enjoyed trying this place, but I don't think I would come back.“
“The noodle soup is the standout dish at Noodle Talk with big portions at reasonable prices. The extra noodle serving for only $2 gives you a giant bowl of additional noodles in broth which I highly recommend for sharing purposes. We also ordered the fish hotpot and I wasn't as impressed, the fish had a strong fishy flavor which I didn't enjoy as much but they did add a little bit of spice to balance it out.“
“If you’re looking for a place with authentic Vietnamese cuisine, you’ve found it. The people here are kind and genuine. I have nothing but positive things to say about the culture they bring to this area. Do not miss out on an opportunity to eat here. Especially if you’re from out of town!Kid-friendliness: They don’t mind kids. All types of families here.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all tables you can remove the chair from and put a wheelchair“
“My family’s first time eating dumplings, and it was great the service here is quick and all the dumplings we tried especially the pork soup dumplings and chicken wontons in Chile oil were amazing. A great choice for families or first timers for dumplings.“
“Been going here since I was 17 years old. Watched the kids that help out grow through out the years. Everything in there including the decors has been the same. It’s like a Time Machine. Loved the beef fried rice and the garlic fried chicken.“
“Although there were no tables available when my party arrived around 6:45pm on a Sunday evening, they told us we could start getting our food in the meantime. Pretty cramped store. Not as many ingredients as I would've liked to see. Sauce bar was also very limited. I went with the beef bone broth base (mild spicy) with ingredients like udon, quail eggs, veggies, beef, etc. Beef was pretty good! I'm usually not the biggest mala fan but the mild spicy broth was pretty good. My parents thought the medium spicy beef bone broth was a good spice level, but too salty. They liked my mild spicy one better. Food comes out pretty quickly after you get it weighed and hand the bowl over to them to get it cooked. The food came out piping hot! Overall good option if you want a fun experience of building your own bowl. So if you're craving hot soup and want a fairly quick meal (assuming no wait), then this might be a good spot for you!“
“We’ve been dining here for years and it’s our go-to AUTHENTIC Szechuan comfort food! Kathleen (owner) is SUPER FRIENDLY (completely customer oriented) and will do anything to make it right for you. Anything less than 5 stars is just not right so let her know if something doesn’t meet your expectations and give her an opportunity to delight you.“
“Came for the weekend breakfast. Lv breakfast wrap was my favorite with yotiao wrapped in fried scallion pancake. The scallion pancake was fried well with a mochi like consistency. The yotiao would be better if crispier. Thought they could've added more sauce, I added the self serve hot sauce and special sauce which accentuated the yumminess. The turnip cake egg sandwich was good, turnip cake could be crispier too. The kurabuta bun was fine. Summing up, I'd come back for the scallion pancake wrap.“
“If I could give this place six stars, I would! My experience at Noodle Talk was nothing short of exceptional. Their dishes are exceptional – perfectly cooked and bursting with authentic flavors. The menu offers a variety of options, and the rice noodles are a must-try. Cooked to perfection, each strand had the ideal texture, neither too soft nor too chewy. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff make dining here a delight. If you're craving delicious Chinese rice noodles, this is the place to be!“
“My family and I have been going to this noodle restaurant for almost 5 years. The food has always been great, and the quality has never changed. My kids love the braised beef noodle soup and the fried peanut appetizer. The noodles are very chewy and pleasant to eat, and the soup is always flavorful and not too salty. The food is also priced very reasonably. Although, they only accept cash, but I don't find that too much of an issue because there is a Walgreens close by with an ATM. Overall, highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: The staff are very nice and friendly to kids, and there are many menu options that are not spicy and great for kids.“
“I've never tried okonomiyaki so I wanted to try this place out. This place is in a restaurant called Rokko so it almost made us miss the place when driving by since the outside sign only displays Rokko. The menu had lots of options to choose from as it's 2 restaurants in one: Rokko and Fugetsu. Shrimp & Veggie Tempura: 4.5/5A great variety of shrimp and assorted veggies! Very generous and included 4 shrimp tempura. Very fresh and crispy. Okonomiyaki Sampler: 3.5/54 mini okonomiyaki which includes Ebi mayo, Negi-tsukimi pork and Gyusuki negitama, and Cheese. The shredded cabbage base sort of reminds me of hash browns. Wish we got the noodle version AKA modanyaki!Service was amazing, our server was so friendly and was constantly checking up on our table! I'll come back to try the modanyaki next time! Check this place out if you want to try okonomiyaki!“
“I've been here a few times. For dine in and take out. Typically get the chicken pho, spring rolls or brisket phi. All are delicious. Generous portion. Quick service.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly place. Nothing specifically for kids but a casual enough environment that the little ones will be comfortable. Saw quite a few families with kids last time I went.“
“You really can't go wrong with any of the noodles, the dumplings are good and so are the other appetizer. Service is good, atmosphere is chill. It's your typical Chinese noodle restaurant serving great food.Parking: It gets busy at dinner time and can be hard to find parking.“
“I have only tried chili oil noodles at Ox9. Not much vegetarian options here. I have tried 3 locations of this place in Cupertino, fremont and Milpitas. Chili oil noodles are consistent in taste. The noodles were thick and chewy, very filling. It's a QR code order kind of place. Not much service or ambiance. No frill restaurant but gets the job done. Affordable and tasty.“
“Just discovered this place! Didn't know it was so close to work. It's like a little hole in the wall. What makes it a great place is their stuff is fresh. They make their own dumplings there too and you can probably watch them from outside making them. Their food tastes so good and service was super quick. We were expecting to pay a lot but the prices here were reasonable. Will definitely come back!“
“Pretty prompt service in seating & taking orders. Our food was tasty & flavorful, add the ginger scallion in oil to the bowl of noodles & it elevates the taste. The chilli oil is lethal - almost choke on it going down the wrong way. ?“
“i've never seen an asian cuisine restaurant with rhinoceros horn sushi! the food was loud, but delicate. intense, but calm. flavorful, but dry. this food took a toll in my life. some could say i was trippin off the perk. who's the better travis? t scott or t kelce? i'd like to say that the chiefs are being carried by mother tay tay. did you know recently travis scott played fein at his concert 10 consecutive times and causes a small earthquake? fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! fein! do you like normal goldfish or extra cheddar? i like rainbow goldfish!“
“Siam Taste in Sunnyvale is a gem! My girlfriend and I are regulars, drawn in by the chicken yellow curry and the irresistible spicy fried rice. She loves the tom yum soup, which, like every dish here, is fantastic. Beyond the food, it's the owners that make every visit special. Their kindness and attentiveness ensure a dining experience that's as warm and welcoming as the meals are delicious. Highly recommended to anyone looking for Thai food in Sunnyvale!“
“I kept passing by here so finally decided to give it a try!Plenty of parking next to the restaurant, and I was a little surprised the place was quite empty on a Sunday at noon. Maybe most people take it to go? The restaurant itself is nice and bright, all the tables looked clean and inviting. The server was very friendly and helped me with the menu since it was my first time there. The dim sum dishes looked interesting, but I wouldn't be able to try many dishes just by myself, so I ended up ordering the chicken garlic noodles. I was surprised there was no way to add tip on the credit card payment, and had to dig out some cash. The food came out pretty quickly, the chicken portion was... small. The food isn't exactly cheap, my entree plus a drink was $20 pre-tip. The garlic noodles portion was good, but just didn't have many pieces of chicken. With 0 other sides (veg?) the dish just looked a little sad. Anyhoo, the food itself tasted good so I'm still happy with the meal. I took about half the noodles home to eat with other stuff later.Overall a pleasant experience! Will come back and try some other items next time!“
“I always order to go and they will separate the soup and the noddle and they will also ask my arrival time so they can planned the time to delivery my order. So I could take home with warm food to serve without warm it up again. Thank you and will recommend.“
“Went for Lunar New Year and staff was super friendly in suggesting dishes from the menu that I haven't tried before. All of them were awesome including a hot pot and a sweet desert soup. Besides, the eggplant in spicy garlic sauce and sauted wide noodles with seafood were some of the best I've ever had.“
“I enjoyed all 3 types of ramen I tasted at Ramen Nagi: original, red and black. David is a gracious host who is extremely professional and presents Ramen Nagi superbly. I came here on Thursday, and loved it so much that I came back Saturday night. Highly recommend. David makes you feel so welcomed and taken care of. Thank you David!!“
