Timog Reviews
We definitely recommend Timog Restaurant! Laid back atmosphere and nice ambiance.
We had their squid appetizer, bangus sisig, fried lumpia, grilled bangus, kare2 volcano and the humongous todo na halo2.
The servings were generous and the staff were Uber friendly. Had a wonderful time!
A must visit and will be back to try out their other food.
Panalo baby! Taralets punta n rin kau! 😊👍🙌👏🍽️

Timog is a hidden gem that offers Filipino food with a modern twist, located inside the Lion Market Shopping Center. The restaurant features a bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere with thoughtful decor, creating a relaxed environment perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. The menu showcases flavorful dishes that remind diners of home cooking, with generous use of ingredients and authentic flavors. Popular options include the Adobo (pork & chicken w/ egg), Lechon Kawali, Garlic Rice, and Tamarindo Tango. The Kare-Kare Volcano and Halo-Halo are standout favorites, with the latter being impressively large and satisfying. Dishes like the crispy, juicy Lechon Kawali and the rich, velvety Kare-Kare demonstrate the restaurant’s commitment to quality and tradition.
Timog also offers an AYCE Brunch Buffet on Sundays from 11am-3pm and hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights, providing a laid-back, acoustic vibe that enhances the dining experience. Service is generally friendly and attentive, making guests feel welcomed and well cared for.
While most meals are praised for their flavor and heart, some reviews mention occasional inconsistencies, such as dry beef dishes or slower service during busy times. Nonetheless, the overall experience is positive, with many visitors eager to return and try more dishes. Whether for a casual meal, a special gathering, or enjoying live music, Timog delivers Filipino comfort food with a modern touch, making it a memorable dining spot for both locals and visitors.
