Food is excellent Americanized Taiwanese food. This is probably my favorite best Silicon Valley restaurant on the first visit, and yes I have been to many many expensive restaurants all San Jose area.However, the service at Din Tail Fung is lacking many many requirements for the price and ambiance. Great dumplings. Good appetizer salads.A little pricey.But the wait isn't worth it.We went on a weekend day and had to wait 3.5 hours for a table. And walking around the mall for three hours sucked. It's a nice mall, but ugh.Will I go back. Maybe not in San Jose. I like the Vegas one way better.

Today we visited our beloved restaurant Din Tai Fung again. Whether in Taiwan or the United States, its consistent high-quality service remains the same. Surprisingly, the American branches have maintained the same standard, and the young service team is courteous and attentive. The food is as delicious as ever, and every time I visit, I look forward to it. It is indeed a place worth returning to again and again.
