“Stopped by to try their bento and drink. I ordered the ground pork bento and red bean slushy with 0% sugar. The red bean slushy reminded me of the red bean ice bar I used to get as a kid and 0% was a good amount of sweetness for my liking. I highly recommend the red bean slushy!! Super good.“
“This is my favorite Taiwanese bento place in the bay. There are some other pretty good ones too but the portion size here is larger and they have better side dishes in the bento itself. I love the fried mushrooms, the best of the snacks. Whenever I order it, I can't even close the box because they give you so much. The portion size of the popcorn chicken is equally as generous. The golden egg taro balls are a bit oily but still good. For the bento square, I recommend the pot roast brisket square. The meat comes in a separate container because there is a lot. I like the fried chicken cutlet bento as well. There is a self-order kiosk and the line can get long. I usually just order online and fetch it from the pick-up section where it is already sitting because you can choose to dine in either way. It's not like the packaging is different. There are dining areas to the left and right of the order counter; it's spacious. You can accumulate orange points ? here if you sign up with your phone number and sometimes they text you about promotions. The service is very good. However, they actually gave me the wrong bento today. I ordered the pot roast bento but they gave me the chicken leg bento, most likely because it was $9.99 chicken leg Wednesday so they were preparing more of those. I called to see my options because I was still pretty close to the store. They apologized and said I could come pick up the pot roast bento. I asked if I needed to bring a receipt or the chicken bento but they said no worries, see you later. The drinks are the only thing below average.“
“Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. We were hungry from shopping but didn't want to have a full meal and still want some proteins..... We ended up trying their fried mushrooms as a healthier option (its fried but healthier than those sugary sweets around the area). They were crisp and delicious! Seasoning was a bit spicy but very savory and not overpower. The mushroom texture was very chewy and nice, crisp outside, and soft inside. I was enough to fill two hungry people temporarily before the full dinner. I'd try here again for a quick snack!“
“Love their noodles - all 3 types are chewy and delicious! I am a non-spicy eater and appreciate I can get lots of flavor and it isn’t lost with the non-spicy option. I enjoy both the regular soup as well as the tomato one!We also like their appetizer plates where we can pick our favorites… and the fried pork too!“
“This is Taiwan style hotpot which is pretty different from other styles of hot pot. The broth is lighter and tastes more homestyle and there are less crazy chemicals in the soup base. The meat and veg feels higher quality than all you can eat spots. I got a set menu and was super full and couldn’t finish it. Great “
“We tried the A2 Taiwanese chicken cutlet and A3 basil popcorn chicken. Both hit the spot and had a delightfully crunchy exterior which contrasted the flavorful, juicy chicken inside. I've been missing Taiwan and this fulfilled my craving for street food. I thought $12.28 was a bit pricey for the chicken cutlet, but they have large portions and cut it up in a box for you so it's easy to eat. I'll definitely be back for more.“
“The culinary offerings at Joyhear Cafe are commendable, presenting an array of vegetarian dishes that are both gastronomically delightful and gentle on the digestive system. The conscientious preparation of each meal is evident, reflecting a philosophy that marries taste with nutritional benevolence.“
“Taiwan Cafe has all touches of an authentic family restaurant in Taiwan. It's menus are composed of relatively simple dishes. The flavor and presentation reminds one of family gathering. It's decor is rustic with wood furniture. Services are efficient and polite.“
“Yum yum! I love this location so much, very convenient, and the quality of their fried chicken is so crunchy. it stays crunchy after a while. Easy access inside Ranch 99.I highly recommend this location over barber lane, it's hit or miss.“
“Din Tai Fung is a top contender for my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their Hot & Sour Soup and Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao are absolute must-tries. These perfectly formed soup dumplings are a burst of flavor in every bite!Today, I ventured beyond my usual favorites and tried the Cod Dumpling and Vegetable & Pork Wonton Soup. Both were delicious, but they didn't quite reach the same level of wow-factor as my usual picks.Pro tip: To avoid a wait, consider reserving a table in advance. They also have bar seating for a more casual option during off-peak hours.Overall, Din Tai Fung is a fantastic restaurant with consistently delicious food. Love it!“
