“Nice ambiance and friendly People“

“This is an excellent place. We love it. Today however we were missing tomatoes, seeds, croutons and yam chips in the salad. Lettuce chicken and dressing was it. I’ll stop by tomorrow to talk to them about it. Want them to do well. Every time we ordered before it was perfect.

Today I went to the restaurant to inform them of the mistake. They had already seen my review and were very apologetic. We were offered replacement salads at no charge. Excellent customer service.“

“So excited to find this in the mall! I feel like I’m back in the night markets of Taiwan. I had the XXL Chicken, which was AMAZING—super crispy and full of seasoning. I had the thigh first and came back for the breast. It seemed like the chicken breast pieces were thicker, but I would come back for the chicken thigh because it tasted juicier. They announce order numbers, which show up on a digital counter so you can see where they’re at.

I’ve already been back twice and would come back for the XXL Chicken Thigh!“

The location is in the busy Cupertino, which is convenient. You can order online or by phone. The store also sells bubble milk tea or various tea products.
The flavor of the bento is very delicious when it is hot. The disadvantage is that after cooling, the deep-fried meat will have some oily smell. Apart from this, it is generally a popular Taiwanese bento shop. If you want to eat Taiwanese bento, this is would be a good choice.“

“My family had a fantastic dining experience at Tasty Pot in Milpitas! We were thoroughly impressed by their quick and efficient service. When our daughter accidentally dropped a spoon on the floor, a staff member promptly provided us with a new one without any hesitation.

The customer service was exceptional, making us feel valued and well taken care of throughout our meal. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We sincerely appreciate the team for giving us an unforgettable and delightful dining experience.

“The Chicken is delicious, the flavor is unlike any other place I've tried, and the crunch is phenomenal. You get a good amount of Chicken for $12. I recommend the mild spice XL chicken thigh ordered ahead through the app. You can get the less seasoning option if you're adverse to the strong flavor. We usually have leftovers, and they make great sandwiches.“

“I can tell from the quality of food, decor, cleanliness, and environment that a lot of thought was put into this restaurant. The food was incredible - very fresh and tasty. “As a Taiwanese, I can vouch that this is a truly authentic Taiwanese bento, both in terms of the food and the way it's run. There are many side dishes to choose from each day, so you can pick your favorites. I recommend the scrambled eggs with tomatoes. For the main dish, our favorite is the fried pork chop, which is marinated before being fried. The popcorn chicken is also great, although it's not the best in the Bay Area.“

“The wonton soup is delicious and heavily seasoned with white pepper. Some people may not like it, but I love white pepper!
I heard that this store opened in Hualien, Taiwan from the United States. I had eaten at the Hualien store before and thought it was opened in Hualien first. I didn’t expect that now that the Hualien store has closed down, the American store is still there.
Thank you for having authentic Taiwanese snacks in such a close place. Thank you for your hard work, I will definitely visit often!

“Good place for Taiwanese food if you’re feeling homesick. The flavors a pretty a like what I had in Taiwan. I’d not recommended pan fried pork buns though, the dough was soggy and the bottom wasn’t crisp. It’s a pity that Joy Dumpling does not take Amex.“

“Mr. Lau's Steak House (劉月鐵板.居酒屋) provides authentic Taiwanese-style steak meal, which left me feeling happy after eating it. The set meal includes black pepper rib eye steak (8 ounces, medium rare), lettuce salad, garlic bread, an egg, and spaghetti. The price is so inexpensive and the meal is so delicious. I definitely will be coming back again and again!“

“I've lived in the Bay Area for about 3 years now, and this might be my favorite restaurant l've eaten at.

My friend has been going here regularly and finally convinced me to tag along. I wish I could be more helpful in this review, but we ordered basically everything on the menu. And everything was phenomenal.

The food came out instantly. Everything was freshly made. The service was perfect, incredibly friendly & helpful staff.

We ordered a pot of Jin Xuan Oolong tea that blew my socks off. Not sure where they source it from but even if you're not into tea, you have to try it.

We got there around 6pm on a Saturday, so it was just starting to get busy, but not bad. By the time we left around 7:30 it was packed!!
Overall the experience was so good that I had to buy a T-shirt. Will be back soon“

“My son recommended this place to me and to his girlfriend though he hasn't been in this place yet too. It was our first time and we highly recommended this place if you're craving for good and tasty food especially if you are a "soup, veggie and meat" lover.“

“Good food for a decent price. Everything is flavorful, I really enjoyed the vegetable side dishes. The tea egg was a good side for protein and the katsu was tender.

We also ordered corn and it was good but probably wouldn’t get it again. I’d stick with the set meal.“

“Porridge and a wide variety of cooked dishes that you can choose from. You can request them to heat up the cooked dishes too. They also have other dishes that are cook-to-order. If you want to have a variety of dishes for one or two persons, I suggest that you go for their lunch before 4pm. Else it’s a great place to share different dishes for a group of 4 and above.“

“My 89 year old mom and I come here for their family meal quite often, we like the delicious appetizers, hot and sour soup, pineapple fried rice, and vegetable/mushroom dishes. The Taiwan Restaurant has the largest menu ever, it’s in a leather-bound binder. The menu would please almost any Chinese food connoisseur, we love to come here for a meal. Parking is around the corner behind the restaurant and is free. You can bring your relatives or friends, it won’t fail to disappoint. The restaurant decor is very pretty, as is the decorative dishware!“
