“My friend ordered the tofu teppanyaki and I ordered the whole squid teppanyaki with Taiwanese satay sauce. They both came with spaghetti, a fried egg, corn, and red bell pepper. It was really yummy. I found out later through Google that teppanyaki is actually a Japanese dish and not Taiwanese though, even though I wanted to try more Taiwanese food. I’m impressed with the whole squid, since it not only looks good but tastes really good! We also ordered the taro balls shaved ice to share. The taro balls are not sweet though, but it also came with red beans, grass jelly, mango, and boba. This was my third time here. In my previous visits, I also ordered other shaved ice, beef noodle soup, pork belly buns, pork belly rice, and ground pork rice with a soy boiled egg. I definitely recommend their shaved ice and any of the other food items I mentioned!“
“I'd call this Taiwanese inspired cuisine. We went for late Saturday brunch and there was no wait. They have a back patio for outdoor seating as well. The waitstaff are attentive. I didn't have to ask for water when the pitcher was running low. We had the fan tuan, xi fan (rice porridge), spicy chicken sandwich, and mochi waffle. The fan Tuan was wrapped a little too loosely but the flavors were decent. The xi fan was pretty true to what I grew up with but for $12 I thought the portion a little small. The soft boiled egg it came with was perfect. Mochi waffle was great too. Lighter than other mochi waffles I've had in a good way. I personally didn't love the Szechuan peppercorns in the syrup but that's just personal preference. The spicy chicken sandwich had a good sized piece of fried chicken in it. The spicy fish sauce it came with paired well with the fried chicken. Highly recommend this dish. I'll definitely come back to try other things but the prices were a tad high for me to come regularly.“
“This place is a hidden gem. I visited this place on a weekday afternoon for a little break from working. The passionfruit green tea I ordered was delicious and even had real passion fruit in the drink.Only 1 other person was ordering for pick-up when I was at the store, and they have a kiosk for efficiency, so it didn't take long for my drink to be prepared. This is one of the better boba spots I've tried in the city, and I recommend checking them out.“
“This place serve really good Taiwanese food. We had Egg rolls, Fried wontons,Hot & Sour soup and the kbmbbost dbelicihous pork ribs (please do not miss this!)Service was good. Only the restaurant itself feel a little too old. overall it’s sgood place to try.“
“Chicken Rice ($14.75) poached chicken, rice, steamed greens, kmg sauce, ginger scallion sauce, & chicken soup: My second time having this! Love that they give both chicken breast and chicken thigh. I love chicken thigh so I always eat the breast first haha I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the greens, I prefer eating it with no sauce. The rice is super flavorful and they cook it using the chicken fat. It's a super hearty bowl and super filling!“
“Stumbled upon an amazing Taiwanese restaurant on Google during my unexpected trip to San Francisco. Must-try dishes include the incredible Popcorn Chicken, classic Braised Pork Over Rice, and delightful Sweet Potato Fries with Plum Powder. The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance, and the friendly staff enhances the overall experience. A must-visit for an authentic taste of Taiwan!“
“came in 15 mins after they opened and they rearranged the tables for us. staff were friendly despite knowing limited English. i ordered the beef hot pot with medium spicy. it was an enjoyable spice for me but also on the spicy side. would recommend mild if you can't handle spicy because they have chili oil on the side in which you can add to your soup if you want it to be spicier! a lot of beef briskets and seafood were included! the fish paste was my favorite! it was really filling and enough for one person ig @eatswithpristie“
“This place offers a wide variety of dumplings, including rarer finds like fantuan, and other hot dishes at affordable prices in a conveniently located area of Sunset. The interior is small with only a few tables, but it's a cozy spot to enjoy a meal or pop in for takeout. They accept credit card but charge a 4% fee for dine-in, which is understandable. I'm really happy I found this spot and will probably return often.“
