Bafang Dumpling Reviews
They don’t have a system to make sure customers can get their food in order. Food is good but the service needs to be improved.
Really disappointing experience. We waited over 30 minutes and still didn’t get our food. I’m not sure if they’re short-staffed, but the service has been extremely slow the last two times we’ve been here. Unfortunately, after giving it another chance and having the same experience again, we probably won’t be coming back.
2.5 stars but I'll round up. Some people said the service was terrible but it is self serve, the cashier was fine. Food was not great. I got pot stickers and some sesame noodles but the flavor was lacking in both but the noodles were especially bad. It was more like a thick peanutty sauce instead of a soy saucey one that you would expect. The pot stickers were better but lacking a bit flavor and way too salty. Bafang Dumpling is a large new Taiwanese restaurant located in the Santa Clara Square Marketplace. The restaurant has a bright and airy interior with both indoor and outdoor seating areas and a large free parking lot. The recipe is from the award-winning restaurant in Taiwan. The beef noodle soup is very flavorful, and the noodle texture is solid. The potstickers and dumplings are also decent, and you can mix your own dipping sauce. The MaLa beef noodle is very good with beef, flavor and soup, especially the two pieces of Daikon. The pork rice is on the sweet side but liked more than expected. The non spicy feed noodles were liked by everyone. The vegetarian dumplings and potstickers are really good, and there is a selection of dipping sauces. However, some found the food was not great, with pot stickers and sesame noodles lacking flavor and way too salty. The service has been extremely slow, with waits over 30 minutes and 12 min to get food. Some found the cashier had a hard time relaying information and could not identify vegetarian options. Some were out of noodles. The price is ok. Some would not come back.
