You are greeted warmly upon arrival; the space is neither large nor tiny. It is an open-concept restaurant (you can see the kitchen), and the place is bright and clean.

You order via a QR code, and the food arrives at your table quickly.

The portions are neither too big nor too small; I find them just right—whether you're really hungry or want to take some leftovers home for later.

I will definitely be back to try more of the menu (honestly, everything looks spectacular).“

“Yummy dumplings. We got a variety of dumplings and they arrived quickly. The portion size is good.
And we got the place without any wait, even on a Sunday. Must try if you like dumplings. The potstickers were a bit oily for our liking. Rest all the food was great.“

“We have not been here in many years. What a pleasant surprise they still deliver the same great quality food and service. And now, they have outside seating too. They still have the traditional carts roaming around the dining room with delicious choices. We liked that the classic dimsum fare was still being served and they do not scrimp on portions, unlike many dimsum places in Millbrae and Daly City. The shu mai was juicy and large, as were the shiu bao. The tofu skin wrap had a lot of filling instead of several layers of tofu skin. The ham suy ko was plump and crisp on the outside but chewing on the inside with a good amount of filling. We came for a late lunch but they were still full. Their service was friendly but brisk and efficient. The place was clean and pleasant. We will be back!“

“As a northern Chinese person, I don’t think there’s ever a limit to how much I love steamed buns and other fermented-dough dishes! I’ve been searching for good, authentic baozi in the Bay Area for a long time, and I’m so happy I finally found this place.

Seeing so many different kinds of buns to choose from made me incredibly happy, and they even had my favorite tofu buns! My only little disappointment was that they didn’t have fried chili peppers, only chili oil. If making them is too much trouble, can I bring my own next time? Haha!

Everything was delicious, and the service was so warm and welcoming. Thank you for putting so much care into making your food. I’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone I know and will be coming back again! ❤️“

“Fast and adequate service for a Sunday brunch at 11:30AM

Come around 11-11:30AM on weekends to avoid wait time.

Food was a bit pricy but this is Cupertino. Ordered a steamed fish which was very fresh.

The preserved egg and shredded pork porridge doesn’t have much pork and preserved eggs. One star off. Other food tasted fine.“

“Food is okay and generous, though everything was kind of sweet. they close at 10:30, but started kicking us out at 10:15? Understandable still, but we were already packing up to begin with. We had no cash to tip, + they barely had any conversation with us, then continue to ask why we didn’t tip and if the service was anything wrong with the service x2? We were going to tip regardless, but it was kind of pressuring to ask for a tip when we weren’t greeted or treated in any genuine manner + rushing everything + the food was rushed as well. dumplings came out raw, soup was warm, and the meat hard. we ended up tipping anyways but it could’ve just been a bad night. that’s okay.

“I’m from Taiwan and have tried a few Chinese restaurants in Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View, Cupertino. The dinner the 4 of us had here was absolutely the best - flavorful, clean, reasonably priced, and good service! Roast duck blew us away - better than Chef Chu’s or Hong Kong Restaurant. Dim Sum dishes were good. Beef with mixed vegetables was tender and full of flavor, and squid in black bean sauce was authentic. Reasonable corkage too. Will come back for sure!“

“Used this place to cater a party. We ordered 30-40 of 6 different things and ALL was a hit. The shrimp and chive pan friend dumping was what won my heart. Everyone asked me where the dim sum was from. Atmosphere is your traditional Chinese mom and pop shops which I always find comforting and thats when you know the food is good! Pricing was fair compared to the raising prices eerywhere else.“

“This is an authentic Taiwanese fast-food restaurant. It’s usually pretty crowded, and it can be hard to find a seat, so it’s probably better for takeout. The restaurant is mostly self-service and doesn’t ask for tips. The food comes out really quickly.

The prices are surprisingly affordable, and the food quality was way better than I expected. We ordered the fried dumplings, which are probably the most famous dish, and the fried pork chop rice. Both were delicious!“

“My first time eating at Kirin, and I will definitely be coming back again to try all the other dishes. My personal favorite was the short ribs , but every dish had such a unique and amazing flavor. The perfect amount of spice for the Mongolian chicken, and the marinade for the crab was super savory. No notes, just perfection!“

“Dough Zone Dumpling House is a good, modern dumpling place that leans a bit “nicer” compared to your typical dumpling house.

The food is yummy across the board. The xiao long bao come out neat and uniform, with a clean presentation and great flavor.

The noodle dish is simple and satisfying, with a nice texture.

The beef noodle soup has a deep, rich broth.

Even the greens are done well.

Service is friendly and attentive, and a good experience from start to finish. The place itself is clean and modern, with a slightly polished feel.

“The momos are delicious. They were absolutely juicy, and the feeling was extremely well balanced, and they did not skimp on the quantity either. The chicken chow mein, on the other hand were below average. The quantity of chicken was less. The noodles were stuck together. The seasoning was lacking, and there were few vegetables then I like. I would skip the chow mein next time and just get the momos.“

“Can’t find you a better deal. Rice plate 2 item bbq for $12. It’s a $20 min for credit. No min for debit. The roast pork should have better skin, since the one here the skin didn’t crackle all the way thru so it’s a little tough. But the meat is super tender. As such, one of the dishes that was selected was barbecue pork and roasted duck. The ordering experience was good as our group members interacted readily with the manager on duty on the choices of dishes to order. At the end of the meal, everyone was satisfied with the food as well as with the overall price charged for the meal. “Ordered Crispy mapo tofu as appetizers, green beand and broccolini wok fry and vegetables dumpling in hot and sour soup.
All of them are.appetizer size. Between two of us, felt comfortably full. Green beans fry on the saltier side for our taste. Otherwise all the dishes are good.

“I usually stop by every morning for their congee and sometimes try other dishes. The roast pork is consistently excellent, and the roast duck over rice never disappoints. The place might feel a little rundown and could use a deep cleaning, but that’s often the sign of truly great food.“

“I really like this bakery. I used to come here when I was a student and didn’t have much money, because you can get something good to eat without spending too much. I still like stopping by from time to time.

I definitely recommend coming early, ideally between opening and 10–11 AM. By around noon, a lot of the pastries and food can already be sold out.

They have a nice variety of Chinese-style bakery items and other familiar options too — sausage buns, green onion buns, coconut buns, sweet breads, and more. Good prices, good food, and plenty to choose from if you come early. Definitely recommend!“

I'm sure i'll leave with a mental 3 stars and be happy I got some dim sum. The atmosphere is just as predicted, tiny cups, screaming kids, a coke in a can.. Just as I sat down I was greeted by my first cart. I was filled with joy by the food, and as the service kept coming, I was blown away. They were so kind, I asked if they had a certain kind of dumpling and the lady left her cart at my table and went to another cart and got me the exact thing I wanted. My water stayed full and the food came at a great pacing for me. I dont want to set your bar too high, this is a NORMAL DIM SUM place. It's 5 stars because the food is exactly as it should be, and the service is above standard. ALSO the value for the money was perfect.“

“Dim sum is good especially because of the lower prices. I think the best times to grab something is in between breakfast and lunch. They get pretty busy. The bbq section is usually busy with long lines because typically there is only 1 person chopping up your meats.“
