“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! The dressing seemed like it was made fresh, not from a bottle. Will come back to try something else.“

“No pictures of the meal because it was just THAT GOOD. Tables back up to the parking lot so it's a little crowded but the coffee and the food are so incredible that I don't care. Absolutely fantastic and I feel like I haven't had breakfast as good as that in a while. Had the morning burger, Southside style croissant, and a side of tater tots. My partner and I split each and it was the perfect amount, everything was cooked perfectly and the fries and tots were crispy. I'll be dreaming of this food for weeks to come and I am so sad that I am not from the area and can't eat here every weekend.“

“This is a reallly wholesome, family-run Indian vegetarian restaurant. For $18, they have a very tasty all you can eat buffet. They bring to your table some fresh made chapati too. There is a delicious lemon pudding for dessert and also always fresh fruit. If you want some good home cooking, this is the place.“

“I tried Annie’s Sandwiches recently and had a pretty good experience. The sandwich was fresh, filling, and had a nice balance of flavors without being too heavy. Everything tasted like it was made with care, and the portion was decent for the price. The staff was friendly and the service was fairly quick too. Nothing overly fancy, just a solid spot when you want a good sandwich without a long wait. I’d definitely consider coming back again when I’m in the area and craving something simple and tasty.“

We get the bento boxes with teryaki chicken, California rolls, and sashimi (tuna or salmon) the miso soup is great and the salad with that delicious dressing is perfect.
