“We have enjoyed Authentic Puran poli with Pure ghee, Modak and Kothimbir vadi, so many times, felt like home made dishes are served keeping the delicious taste unchanged.
Second time we took dine in experience too, which was quite satisfactory and relished the taste. Lunch thali was adequate, tasty but portion size of sweet served was very small.
Misal pav was quite tasty, kadhai paneer, bharli vangi had bhakri had authentic taste.

“Went on weekend...was bit crowded, difficult to get parking spot.I had to be in queue for 15-20 minutes to get a table.It offers several varieties of dosas and other Andhra tiffins.Quality of food was very good .They offered 3-4 Chutneys, people coming for first time would enjoy Allam( Ginger) chutney for sure.“

“This is a reallly wholesome, family-run Indian vegetarian restaurant. For $18, they have a very tasty all you can eat buffet. They bring to your table some fresh made chapati too. There is a delicious lemon pudding for dessert and also always fresh fruit. If you want some good home cooking, this is the place.“

Main however could've used a bit more Thai curry like they described, but still tasted good. Portions felt a tad small for the price - would love bigger mains for a more sumptuous meal. Live pani puri, as the name suggests, is served live with 5 different sauces - mint, mango, pineapple, tamarind, forgot the 5th one. They bulk sell the tamarind one (khatta mitha) in packs too. “This is our go to place for biryani in the Bay area. Both paneer and chicken biryani are really well made - flavorful and the right amount of spice. Try the gongura biryani for higher level of spice. Recommend the veg bullet and paneer Tikka in appetizers and lemon soda/mango lassi for beverages.“

“Shan is hands down the best Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the entire bay area . Food is fresh, served fast (15 min or less) , affordable prices , complimentary amazing chai , and family friendly . I was introduced to Shan 10 years ago and I must admit from day 1 I was a loyal customer . I eat there about 3 times a week and have gotten my family and friends addicted to it . If you dine in and Varnoot is on shift consider your self to be very lucky . He is one of the most kindest hard working sincere employees I’ve come across . He always goes out of his way to make you happy and feel exceptional . If I had my own restaurant I would be honored to have him on board . There’s also a female worker I think Deepo is her name who is also friendly and very welcoming . Sadly I am leaving the bay area so Shan will be for ever missed . Do try them out for your next eat out or even catering event and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. 10 Stars !“
