update July 2026 : they have maintained the same quality of food over the years which is no easy feat. We love getting food picked up from their new retail location. But the website ordering can be simplified. The timings when they are open is also a bit confusing and it seems like it changes often. I was planning on picking up meals there in the evenings and I try to pick up a bit early before the evening 5 pm snacks rush begins. But it looks like the timings are changed again....read full review
Masala poori and Davangere bene masale dose are very good. Dosa size for the price is underwhelming though. Dose also has an overdose of butter; would suggest recommending to put less.
Suggi Oota is a nice spot for authentic Karnataka cuisine. We tried the masala puri, mirchi bajji, churumuri, chai and benne masala dosa. The standout dish was definitely the davangere benne masala dosa—it was flavorful, and the best of everything we ordered. The masala puri, chilli bajji, and churumuri were okay, but didn’t stand out as much. Overall, it’s worth a visit for sure 👍
