The wait staff (outside seating) had to be tracked down quite a bit, which was frustrating. The food came out quick and was delicious and consistently good.

No alcohol served here, but do get yourself a mango smoothie drink if you have a sweet tooth.

We went for lunch on a Saturday, it's at the corner of Dana and Hope streets with parking on Hope and a city lot nearby.

It's a cozy clean table setup with more tables in a back room available. The menu may be limited compared to other places but it has all our favorites. We got the Garlic Naan, Lamb Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala; both spicy. The food took some time to bring out. Both curries were flavorfully spiced with generous amounts of protein and good heat. My Lamb was tender with no bones.

Yet another great Indian restaurant in MTV. We sat next to the kitchen and heard a lot of loud chopping. Good service, value, flavor and portions. Definitely repeatable.“

“We ordered the vegetarian sigdi menu and ala carte for my toddler. Service was slow especially for my toddler, had to wait almost 40 minutes with a hungry toddler.

There was only 1 person to take order for all the tables which was weird. Also, the sigdi menu mentions wine but those aren't included and its additional, which wasn't mentioned on the menu itself.

The food however was pretty good, 1st course was good/decent, 2nd course was the best/amazing, main course was nice too (may not be enough if you are hungry). The desserts were okay though especially the jarred pineapple smoky flavor was weird and too much sugar. Gajar halwa was an ice cream and felt okay too. The ala carte option was nice and my toddler loved the cow paneer and romali roti.

Drinks were good/regular.

Server and at the reception, people are nice, wished my wife happy birthday and also brought us a mini cake to cut and a champagne on the house.

Overall, nice/good experience but service can be improved a bit especially more people to take order so we don't wait.

“This is a place I have been going to since 2018. The thali is something that has remained an absolute favorite since then. It is great value for money without compromising the taste. The owner has kept the price reasonable over the years, even when inflation put pressure to increase prices.One must try the meals.“

Personally I think the restaurant could benefit from improving the ambience - like using better utensils instead of the bamboo cups and plastic spoons for serving to attract more customers. “I loved both the Mutton Dum Biryani and Chicken Biryani, they were very authentic and full of flavor. The biryani had a great texture, and the mirchi ka salan was amazing and complemented it perfectly. To finish the meal, the Irani chai was excellent. The staff were very helpful, kind, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The portion size is very generous,one biryani is easily enough for two people. If you're looking for authentic Hyderabadi flavors, this is definitely a must-try place!“
