Kailash Parbat Santa Clara Reviews
Overall good starters but dishes are hit or miss. For example, the Chinese bhel and Rabri were very bad (do not order), pav bhaji was 3/5, mushroom and paneer tikka were good.
I visited Kailash Parbat in Santa Clara on a Friday afternoon, drawn by the familiar brand and curious to try it.
The decor is very pleasant, with ample seating and plenty of parking.
I especially liked their booklet-style menu with pictures—so many tempting choices, it makes deciding difficult in a good way!
It has a familiar Indian feel and seems like a lovely place to catch up with friends over chaat and a good chat. 😊

The food is hit or miss. Pani puri was really good, and the chaat platter was great. Chat basket, chole bhature, mirchi bhindi, sev puri, mushroom skewers, chapati, mushroom and paneer tikka were good. The dessert was amazing and made the whole experience go from okay to good. However, the Chinese bhel and Rabri were very bad, pav bhaji was 3/5, Soya chaap is okay, and the mains were okay, usually underwhelming.
Service was great, and they accommodated dietary restrictions. They checked in during the meal. Some guests would have loved more attention to simple acts of service. On weekends or post 7pm, it is better to reserve a table, as the usual wait time is 90min.
