“We had been wanting to try Bharat Social’s veggie burger for a long time, and we finally got to try their Veggie Burger, Jain Burger, and Cold Coco. The burgers were fresh, with perfectly crispy patties and well-balanced flavors that make you want to come back again.
The Cold Coco was refreshingly indulgent and authentic - a great choice for anyone who appreciates quality vegetarian food made with attention to detail.
Highly recommend this place for its Cold Coco and what is quite possibly the best Veggie Burger and Jain Burger in the Bay Area.“

“If you are looking for a delicious Punjabi restaurant this is what you are looking for. They have tasty 😋 mouth watering 😋 food even for vegetarians. I am a vegetarian and highly recommend this place for a very reasonable weekend buffet pricing with well enough dishes. It is totally worth the price you pay. Ala carte of their entrees is also recommended. This is a must try!“

“Decent food but nothing to brag about. Had higher expectations - filter coffee wasn’t good. Kerala chai was decent and so was naychor. Egg puffs and cutlet weren’t as good
Edit : tried few snacks again - they were awesome - unnakaya, pazhampori, egg puffs. It’s possible they were freshly made in mornjng“

“Honestly one of the best hidden gems in San Jose!!
New Tandoori Cafe serves authentic Indian and Pakistani food that tastes like it’s made at home. The chicken tikka is perfectly seasoned with a nice smoky flavor, the butter chicken is rich and comforting, super delicioso!🥰
What really makes New Tandoori Cafe special is that “homemade” feel. You can tell the recipes come from tradition, not shortcuts. It’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because it feels genuine.
If you’re in the area and craving real, delicious comfort food, definitely give this place a try. Highly recommend! 💐🙏“

“Best for To-Go, unless you want to play a high-stakes game of musical chairs over their exactly two benches.
But grab your bag and run, because the sambar is a literal time machine. One sip sends you straight to a Bangalore Darshini at 7:30 AM, dodging traffic and experiencing pure bliss.“

“Sri's Kitchen is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional and welcoming. The food was packed with flavor, and every dish tasted fresh and authentic. The fried pastries were simply divine—crispy, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating once you start.
If you're a fan of rich, deep, and authentic spices, Sri's Kitchen delivers some of the best flavors around. Every bite leaves a lasting impression and has you looking forward to the next one. The surrounding community atmosphere is warm and inviting, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
A special thank you to Mr. Angola for the outstanding customer service and hospitality. His professionalism and attention to detail helped make this visit memorable. Great food, great people, and great vibes—I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!“

“Surprising find accessible from the exterior of Westgate Mall. Food was good, there are some misses but mostly really good options. The Tandoori Momos were especially terrific.
We have dined-in and takeaway. They do mostly take-away business but there is a reasonably sized seating area. Since the business is mostly to-go, its quiet but the service is pretty good.
We'll be coming back or taking-away again.“

“Good place to grab a quick meal to go or dine in on the tables and chairs inside. Portions may be on the smaller side but price is reasonable for the area. Imagine several food trucks but they instead had stalls to serve their food. There were several selections of different types from Indian, Japanese, Brazilian, and Chinese I think. Food is served in paper and plastic containers with plastic utensils, again, think food truck. Parking is paid street parking. Most of the people eating looked like students from SJSU or people who attended an event at the conference center which are both about a 5 minute walk away.“

“Tried biryani at a local restaurant today and it honestly hit the spot. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate and flavorful, and the spices were well balanced without being overpowering. The meat was tender and juicy, which made every bite really satisfying. What stood out the most was the aroma and the richness of the masala it felt authentic and freshly prepared. Overall, a really good experience and definitely a place I’d go back to when craving proper biryani.“

“The momos are delicious. They were absolutely juicy, and the feeling was extremely well balanced, and they did not skimp on the quantity either. The chicken chow mein, on the other hand were below average. The quantity of chicken was less. The noodles were stuck together. The seasoning was lacking, and there were few vegetables then I like. I would skip the chow mein next time and just get the momos.“

“I've visited this branch four times in the past two weeks, and I've been consistently impressed. Their Ak benne dosa is a standout, but honestly, all their benne dosa varieties are exceptional. The Mylapore special dosa is another must-try. Their medhu vadas are incredibly crispy – the best I've had in the Bay Area. And let's not forget the filter coffee; it's simply divine and reminds me of my home. While I wasn't as fond of the puliyodharai, that's just personal preference. I strongly urge them to keep the waitlist system. For someone like me who travels over 30 minutes just to dine here, it's a lifesaver!“

“I ordered the Bomb-bay lemon pepper chicken pizza, the garlic cheese bread and the butter chicken wings. The food was good, pizza was very flavorful but I noticed the flavors were much more stronger here (in a good way) compared to like Bombay Pizza House in Fremont. The garlic cheese bread was cheesy and garlicky and the butter chicken pizza was good and had a very nice kick to it. Overall the food here is good, service isn't the best but food was good though.“

“Went at lunchtime because of an ad for a Vietnamese coffee place that came across my FB feed. No idea what to expect. It was in an old office building or warehouse, busy parking lot, and oddly full of older Priuses. Guys standing outside around the door. I went inside into a small undecorated waiting room with more guys standing around waiting, phones out, There was a wall of maybe 40 white lockers on one wall, and a little counter window with a person sitting there. The strangest to-go place I’d ever seen.
Drivers came in, held their phone up to a reader, and if their order was ready, one of the locker doors popped open automatically. The driver would grab their order in a brown paper bag with handles and leave. I just had to ask someone if all these guys in athletic type wear driving Priuses were all Door Dashers. They said yes, mostly everyone was doing delivery.
Where were the kitchens? I could see a hallway of closed doors behind the lady sitting at the counter window. Guess that’s where the magic happens. I wondered if they were separate businesses or just one huge kitchen with chefs that cooked many foods.
I placed my order on the one kiosk they had there for walk-ins. Quite a variety of vendors and cuisines to choose from. No one else used the kiosk during the whole time I was there haha, so it is clearly an on-line business model.
In 20 minutes I had my food, after phone notification came through. Kinda slow. Waiting inside or on the sidewalk among the door dashers was not optimal. Somewhat sterile and impersonal 21st century dining experience. Best to sit in the car to wait i suppose but i parked looking at a large trash bin. Not a garden spot, not a date destination. Definitely grab and go. I did like my Viet coffee and sandwich for $10. Banh Mi was smallish but tasty.“
