“We have used The Party Helpers for two SJSU Marching Bandgiving lunches, which always take place on the SJSU football game weekend right after Thanksgiving. Feeding more than 100 college marching band students, staff, and our director after a 2½-hour band practice is no small task, yet The Party Helpers consistently deliver. They provide delicious food that fills everyone’s stomachs and lifts their spirits.

The quality of their food, their attention to decorations and setup requests, and the professionalism of staff members like Luis and Carlos are truly outstanding. They are one of the best catering companies I have worked with in my 30 years at SJSU.

“We hired Medina’s to cater a taco bar at our casual, pre-wedding picnic and couldn’t have been happier with their service. I worked with them to finalize all details two weeks before our event and they were responsive and communicative. On the day of our event, I received a call confirming the location. Their team of two showed up right on time and quickly arranged a beautiful buffet table and onsite cooking space. Their team was warm and friendly, made the set-up and cooking look effortless, and were extremely accommodating of our group’s needs. Our guests raved about the different dishes, including the veggie tacos and yummy salsa bar. The still-warm churros were a special highlight! All in all, Medina’s provided good value for the price and was a real pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for helping us make our celebration so special!“

“It's great. Clean, spacious, and yeah lots of food trucks here which is a pretty good recommendation. As for the guy saying it's "dirty" it's not, although it's in an industrial area and the surrounding businesses can be scruffy looking. As for stinky, there's a landscaping place across the street and guess what they sell? Fertilizer. I think they've toned it down lately because I've not smelled that stink in about a year now.“

“Buffet average ( but only 16.95 if you go Mon-Thurs). Fri is more expensive. Both Rices are very good. Biryani? & Dessert Rice delicious. Butter Chicken is always good. I think Dad forgot to try Butter Chicken. Tandoori is very good texture. Nice pieces of chicken. But only thing is flavour light ( but texture good). I recommend you put Butter Chicken tomato sauce on top of the Tandoor chicken as its the best sauce. However, I found the other sauces to be lacking a little flavour. I love Daal or Dhal but it just seem average? I forgot to try the potato one ( I get quickly full as small stomach). They did have a very nice looking Mango salad but the mango were firm ( not ripe) so I wish the Mango more sweet ( lucky I only took 3 small piece so did not waste). But they have a red sauce was very sweet. I recommend the red looking sauce to put on Mango. There is green sauce ( Coriander) but very salty. I wish they have regular coriander or cilantro for people like me who avoid too much salt. Overall light taste. The Yogurt is light salty but good. The Chai tea is excellent but no sugar. I am lazy. but i have a feeling if I put more sugar in my tea it is very good tea. Service is excellent. They immediate bus your table. Since I dont eat very much they bus my table everytime my small plate was finish. Oh, Naan look delicious (free with buffet) Dad ate it. I did not eat Naan ( I cut back on gluten) but rice is very good. They also had 3rd rice or maybe it was nut or coconut ( Im not sure)...I did not take much because I was afraid it might be sweet but very good. I like to know what was in it ( look good)“

“I tried the traditional Vietnamese coffee and the Cocopan Caphe. The traditional coffee was beautifully strong and full-bodied, even in the decaf version. I added their “secret” condensed milk foam—what they call crack—and it was light, airy, and genuinely addictive.

The Cocopan Caphe is pandan-based, and the flavor comes through clearly without overpowering the coffee. Both drinks are balanced, thoughtfully crafted, and absolutely worth ordering. If you were going to order just one coffee, the Cocopan might be worth your money.“
