“I have a bar in Hayward and I have to travel down here periodically to get soda syrup from a specific spot in Santa Clara. Traditionally I go to another sourdough deli, but accidentally put this one in instead on maps. I decided to go with it, figuring I’m down to try a new spot.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly man making the sandwiches(Unfortunately, I did not catch his name). He says he’s been working there since 1992. He was friendly and accommodating. I loved his energy, it’s clear he’s still very happy to work there. The woman at the register was equally as pleasant.

Keep in mind it is cash only, but they have an 🏧 if needed.

My sandwich was to die for. I guess this was the original restaurant to the one that I usually go to. So the sourdough bread was the same drool-worthy sourdough.

I sat outside on such a beautiful day, and their lush garden was very pleasant.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sandwich in the area.“

My first visit here today. I googled this place before coming. I was not disappointed! My grilled pork without egg banh mi was delicious. I bought a thai tea. The flavors were on point. I also bought 10 mini freshly made bread to go. The manager Calvin, was so friendly and nice. The prices were friendly like their services. The food was just as outstanding! I would definitely come back to this place when I am in San Jose.“

“I don't like the new site design with placing the order upfront and then waiting to pickup the sandwiches. it feels like a burger place then the old Togos. the new design is slower and I've had more problems, like getting the wrong sandwich in my bag since multiple people are working on a single order. if this continues to be an issue I'll find a different location to visit.“

“A little questionable for the location, but my biggest turn off was the staff and the fact you can't see them prepping your sandwich like other TOGO'S locations.
They were talking amongst themselves in Spanish the entire time, which I don't really care about but that paired with the fact it was all done behind a counter I couldn't see just left me wondering if they had properly heard what I wanted in my sandwich.
I luckily I ordered a classic 24 so it was easy enough. I'd go again if I had to though. It's the only TOGO'S in the area I believe.“

“Today I had a great experience at this location! One of the employees at the restaurant/counter gave us a 50% discount for a noble cause. This was great gesture by the staff member and was very commendable and considerate. If the manager gets to this review I would like to let them know that your staff member (between 2-3 pm today - Aug 15th) definitely deserves recognition and this experience shows how great the work culture is at this place.“

“I’m new to this sub house, but ever since I started eating here I fell into a sub addiction. lol 😝 The subs here are so delicious and fresh tasting. A little pricey for me but I still pay for it, I recommend the sweet and spicy meatball sub, and the steak and cheese, and the spicy Cajun chicken sandwich. All so yummy 😋 Also very friendly staff. Autumn is a young girl who works there and she is very awesome and hardworking.“

“this is a no-frills sandwich spot in an office park, with so little branding that it's easy to miss that it's there. The chipotle chicken sandwich was genuinely delicious and the service was great. it's a weekday lunch to grab and go, like Togos,(when you can get it expensed) but I wouldn't come here to hang out.“

“Everything is great except it was super warm in there. One of the employees said it was almost 80 degrees on the thermostat on the wall. I wouldn’t eat there. Definitely a TOgo order! I didn’t have the best interaction with the lady working so I went back and spoke to her.
I explained that I am a nice person and treat people with respect.
She apologized for being rude.
I sought to understand.
I asked her if something had happened and she said that the customer before I came in was very angry with her.
I have worked in customer service and retail for many years in my lifetime so I can understand what it is like to deal with idiots.
She doesn’t have the luxury of stepping away and taking a breather though.
So again please be kind.
She is a very nice lady.
People shouldn’t get angry with her.“

“This deli housed in the First America plaza is geared to the locals working in the tech and finance industries in several buildings. I went in anyway as a tourist.
NOEMI explained the items to me and gave me a sample of a spicy chicken tortilla soup. I chose a delicious tomato basil in cup size and larger bowl size is available Soup is great with grated cheese. I opted for no croutons
The menu includes coffees, two styles of hot chocolate and the Spicy Maya is great bottled CocaCola ® products available.
They offer an array of breakfast goodies, salads, sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, and signature tortas This is a heat place to cater a corporate event ir luncheon
The venue is accessible in the first floor of the building. The deli door is open. Accessible order and pick up counter with accessible indoor tables and uncovered area outdoors with a few accessible tables along slightly busy drive
I parked in 2 hour free spot on Metro but these spots are hard to come by
Men’s and women’s restrooms are accessible with dedicated stall 2 grab bars and 5ftx 10 ft space and mostly hands free operation Need a key code restroom sign in braille

“This deli has the best sandwiches and salads. Lots of options. I personally am vegan and they have a great vegetarian sandwich, all very fresh.. The bread absolutely makes the sandwich amazing. There is nothing quite like a freshly baked warm sourdough sandwich.“

“Mom and pop shop that changed management a couple years back; I’ve had the sandwiches a couple times, and it’s always hit the spot! As a San Jose native, there’s a lot of good bánh mì places but this one is definitely solid. All the sandwiches are made to order and you get value for the prices, especially with the buy 5 get one free deal. The service is great and the owners are usually there in the back! I recommend giving it a try. My go-to is the bánh mì đặc biệt, it’s a classic and I personally like my sandwiches a bit fatty to balance with the veggies.“

“Speaking of Vietnamese ‘street food’ this small shop have a very great selection of snacks and to go meals.

Situated in the Lion Plaza, parking is so easy. The mall, in business for over 40 years, is a nice and relaxing environment without any stressful parking.

Most of the specialty dishes are made on site by the owners guaranteeing fresh items, especially the sweet dessert Chè with coconut milk.

I heartily recommend this small sandwich shop. It’s one of my favorite stops to fix my Vietnamese taste craving. 🌷“

“This is one of the better Subway locations I’ve been to. The staff is friendly, respectful, and actually pays attention to what you ask for, which makes a big difference.

“My favorite sandwich spot in the area. The bread makes the sandwich. I have been here a bunch and it's always fresh.

My only complaint is...if you like a lot on your sandwich (pickles, peppers, etc) you have to pay extra. So it can get pricey quick.

And sometimes they can run behind, but also expected at lunch time- so i always order ahead and pickup.

Parking can also get congested at peak times.“

The sandwich was ok I guess but the rolls are too thick and dry for my taste, I guess I wish I had gotten sliced bread. Price was $11.00 The highlight of the visit and the reason for the review is the absolute angel Sheryl who welcomed me and conversated with me! She is a real gem and I hope she is greatly appreciated. We need more people like her in the service industry.“
